One of the symbols of London is the London Eye Ferris wheel, located in the Lambeth area on the south bank of the Thames.
Height: 135 meters, 32 fully enclosed capsule cabins in the shape of an egg. The capsules symbolize the districts of London.
The turnaround takes about 30 minutes.
There is usually a long queue for tickets, but there are also combo tickets where you can buy a one-time ticket with a discount for admission to the London Dungeon (the fear room), Madame Tussauds Museum (wax figures) and other attractions run by Disney Corp.
I haven't been on a wheel, just taking pictures.
Nicely. There's a reason to go back to London and take a look from above. The location of the Ferris wheel is ideal, and it fits well into the historical center from the point of view of design.
We are cashless ... you can only pay with a visa or Mastercard card, they do not take cash, payment is made at the terminal. The wheel itself is great, the queue goes fast, it's comfortable inside, gorgeous views of London. It's even good that we didn't get there as planned on the first day of the trip, then from above we consolidated the knowledge about the city gained on foot. I recommend it! Decide in advance with tickets, there on the spot, if there is no card, only negotiate with other tourists for an unequal exchange of cash for a cashless card…
