Many thanks to the city administration for the idea of creating this museum!!
My grandfather was imprisoned in Karlag under the 58th political article, for his religious beliefs! When the camp was disbanded, all the prisoners were released and allowed to take some things with them.Grandpa took the bed and the bedside table.We kept them for many years as a memory, but we decided to give them to the museum so that young people could see what difficult times people had to survive.Thank you to Kazakhstan for sheltering us, and for the fact that they understand that the Almighty has given land to all people, regardless of nation and faith! The museum is wonderful!! I recommend schools for class visits
