A national museum is a must-see place in every country. Museum of Kyrgyzstan tells the history of Kyrgyzstan starting from 1 mln years back. Very rich museum. Worth visiting.
A big, new, great museum! It's cool inside - you can even just sit on the sofas and take a break from the heat. The 3 floors of the exposition cover the periods of life on the lands of Kyrgyzstan from stones to the present. A ticket for an adult cost 400 som. The museum itself is so spacious that even with a large crowd of people, it will be comfortable.
The building is excellent, a wonderful example of Soviet modernism. The square itself is very nice and spacious, and you can feel the alignment of all the buildings nearby according to the same idea. Maybe that's how it is. The museum itself is not bad, it would be possible to add more about the history of the people. But maybe there's just nothing to add. It seems that earlier there was a Lenin museum, so the building is very suitable for this function and for this figure in architecture and scale. Maybe you need more time to do more ec, a position. And I didn't see the exposition about the change of power in the last 15 years at all, and there were so many of them
The museum has been renovated. Everything is very beautifully decorated and highlighted. We took a guide for two, she told us everything in detail and showed us. 2 hours of time passed very quickly.
The museum has become very cool after the renovation. The exhibition, the interior, the exhibits, everything makes a good impression. You can go either individually or with a guided tour. Prices seem to bite slightly.
I definitely recommend it to everyone!
From my point of view, there are few exhibits located on the 2 floors of the museum.
But for the initial interest in the history of the country, I think it's enough, because it covers a wide range of events.
The ticket price is 200 SOM (240 ₽).
A good museum for starting a trip or exploring the culture of Kyrgyzstan
Three floors divide the museum into different eras.
Here you can spend 2-3 hours on the whole tour
Of course, it is better to take a guide, but it is better to arrange this in advance
It is quite a good historical museum, it gives an idea of what happened on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in the past. There are some great exhibits, it's better to go on a guided tour.
A great place to explore the history of the Kyrgyz Republic. It's a pity the last Russian-speaking tour is at 16.00. It works until 20.00. Put on your jackets, it's cool in the room.
A gorgeous building, bright, spacious, monumental. The permanent exhibition presents many exhibits from the history of the development of the territories and the population of modern Kyrgyzstan. The information content, however, leaves much to be desired. Some of the showcases are full of exhibits, but it is difficult to independently link with the previous part of the exhibition. It is better to go on a guided tour. The prices are not biting, 150 som per person. There are children's tickets and benefits. The museum is cool, even if you are not very interested in history and ethnography, you can look at national symbols and objects of decorative and applied art.
Visiting the National Historical Museum in Bishkek turned out to be an incredible journey through times and cultures. This museum does not just preserve history, it brings it to life before the eyes of visitors. Huge expositions, colorful exhibits and fascinating explanations of the guide immerse you in the world of ancient civilizations and historical events. Walking among ancient artifacts and unique art objects, it was as if I witnessed the most significant moments in the history of Kyrgyzstan. The museum left the impression of a real temporary journey, the moments of which I will remember for many years. I recommend everyone to visit this amazing museum and experience the beauty and significance of the past!
It is one of the largest museums in Central Asia. His collections reflect the history, culture, way of life and traditions of the Kyrgyz people from ancient times to the present.
The museum is sufficient for Kyrgyzstan )
The story is not the richest, so what is rich, as they say.
One disadvantage is that it is unclear why the panoramas will not be re-shot. The builders are depicted on them )
The exhibition itself is interesting, there are many different exhibits, from antiquity to our time, as many as three floors of the exhibition, but the young guide told me very quickly, chattered straight away, I didn't remember much and understood.

I really liked the National Historical Museum. In two hours I learned the whole history of Kyrgyzstan and the Kyrgyz people. The museum is very modern and informative. It is located in the very center of Bishkek. I recommend everything!
A good museum telling about the history and culture of the glorious people of Kyrgyzstan.
It contains, perhaps, all the historical periods of the country: from ancient times to the Soviet period and the present.
We were there as part of a student delegation and the tour lasted about an hour, the guide during this time was able to tell everything concisely.
An impressive museum telling about the history of Kyrgyzstan.
I am very glad that there is such a place, and even in the center of Bishkek.
Somewhere you can minimize the exposure, somewhere you can improve it.
The museum is super, be sure to go if you are in Bishkek. Modern, well decorated, excellent expositions. Have fun. And in principle, it's not super big, two hours to get around everything behind your eyes
The museum is very rich in exhibits. Samples ranging from archaeological excavations to objects of modern history are presented. Several floors. There is a guide (English, Kyrgyz, Russian, German). I got a complete picture of the formation of the wonderful people of Kyrgyzstan.
Not great. A huge beautiful building. Not a very large exposure

If you are in Bishkek for a very short time, I recommend you to visit. In less than an hour, inspect everything. There is a wardrobe, a souvenir shop and clean toilets.Nobody checked the ticket) it costs 200 som. The first floor is dedicated to archaeology, the second is Kyrgyzstan, the third is modern history -outstanding people of the country, etc.
A large museum, three floors of exhibitions. The design is modern and quite capacious. There are individual and group guided tours. If you look for yourself, then the exhibits have QR codes for the audio guide. It will be interesting for both adults and children. It's very beautiful inside.
A large, beautiful, spacious museum building. I would like to see more historical material culture, in the form of samples of cold steel and armor. Very beautiful horse harnesses, women's jewelry and belts, weaving skills! The exhibition of the Soviet era is also interesting! Thanks!

I liked the museum. There are a lot of exhibits, everything is done with a soul, everything is signed and logically arranged from the point of view of chronology. I highly recommend taking a guide to give you a guided tour, the exhibits do not speak for themselves. It's a bit of a pity that the room with gold ornaments has not yet been opened, because of the ribbon, you have to look from afar. The museum is large, you need to lay a lot of time for inspection if you look carefully.
An excellent museum - a thoughtful exposition, grouped by historical periods, makes it possible to cover the history of the country. The building in the style of Soviet modernism deserves a special mention
The museum is amazing from a historical and educational point of view. It is a must-visit, especially for those who want to get to know and understand the history of the Kyrgyz people better.
The museum is just wonderful. I was there a long time ago and then I didn't like it at all. This time I liked everything, everything is thought out. and it became more convenient to move around with a stroller👌
Together with myself, I visited the museum, we have been going for a long time) we got into the history of our people. Most of all, we liked women's jewelry and hats. It's a pity that the sound does not come from the interactive whiteboards in the hall of musical instruments. And the new interactive board with a game of arranging household items in a yurt is very interesting!
A chic museum, starting from the architecture of the building and the fullness of various exhibits. You can only take pictures on your phone, they don't let you in with a camera.
A cozy museum with a good exposition. There is something to see.
And what is important, an objective assessment of historical events.
A small ticket price.
It is informative, beautiful, and there are interactive objects. It is better to take a tour, it will definitely be more informative. We walked by ourselves
I was pleasantly surprised by the museum, it is very interesting, everything is clean and there is a lot of space, there is a place to sit and relax, there is a dressing room and an elevator. Clean toilets.
The first and second floors are very interesting expositions, I was inspired, photographed everything and left quite good impressions. The third floor of the exposition about the Soviet Union did not seem very interesting to me, but it tastes and colors. I'm sure someone will like it.…
An excellent museum, an interesting exposition, even with some interactive content. If you have little time left, I advise you to run through the Stone Age a little faster, then everything is more interesting ;) I liked the yurt and carpets the most!
The museum is great. It is simply impossible to be in the city and not visit it. Do you remember the boy from the Teshik-Tash cave (in all school history textbooks)? He's there. Do you know how beautiful the Saki (people) were? You'll see it there. And a great ethnography floor
A new, beautiful, interesting museum. The only thing I would advise to do is ramps on the sides of the museum. It's hard to climb from the side of the museum with a wheelchair
Finally, after the reconstruction, I got to this museum. Very good expositions, from ancient times to the present day. The whole history of Kyrgyzstan is shown, without modern political inversions, namely as it was. I walked around the museum for three hours, my head was swollen from the information I received.
We were on Friday, it turned out that there were no guides on Friday. In my opinion, the National Museum of the History of Kyrgyzstan should be ashamed that they do not have guides, audio guides. As a result, they didn't understand much on their own.
