I'll start with the most important thing, why I put 1 star: DECEPTION. I booked 2 rooms through the hotel's website, I received a confirmation letter for 150 thousand tenge. Upon check-in at the reception, they offered to pay 176 thousand. Apparently, the calculation is that after an overnight flight at 6 a.m. local time (3 Moscow time), no one will check and even more so argue. To be honest, I did so, I took out a map, but recently the maps of the WORLD do not pass. We agreed to pay later. In the morning, I checked the amount from the letter, realized that they were trying to cheat me. Upon eviction, they again offered to pay 176 thousand, I refused, to which they told me that I had not taken into account the city tax. I asked to calculate the amount of tax for me and it turned out that it was 1200 tenge, not 26 thousand))) They didn't argue, but no one apologized either.
Otherwise:
1) the room is clean, except that there was a woman's hair on the wall in the shower. It didn't overshadow me much, but there is something to work on.
2) the sound insulation is good, I didn't hear anyone, although there were a lot of guests in the hotel.
3) it was +40-42 outside and the air conditioner was working! It was consistently cold in the room - thanks for that!
4) the breakfast is decent, without frills, but everything is delicious, there is plenty to choose from.
5) towels are all fresh, not washed, as well as bed linen. No odors or stains.
If it wasn't for the fact that you tried to cheat me twice, everything would be fine. In general, you can stop if you are vigilant. The location is convenient, the price / quality is on the level.

Nice, clean hotel. It's worth the money. Nice views from the window. A good breakfast is available in the restaurant. Or you can sit on the outdoor veranda with a view of the mountains.

A new hotel. It was probably built by the Chinese. There are many signs of this - for example, ridiculous flaws in plumbing. The buffet is sparse and standard to the point of indifference - nothing will attract your attention and will not be remembered. The staff is professional and friendly. The hotel is well located.

From small problems - the pressure of cold water in my room was constantly changing in the shower, which constantly changed the overall temperature of the water - then hot, then cold; well, in the dining room at breakfast, the staff slowly cleans the tables - it was difficult to find a free clean table. Yes, the hotel itself is not bad, the food is too, but the fact of the presence of bedbugs is simply unacceptable, if I were a resident of Almaty, I would definitely write to the sanitary and epidemiological station, and so on the next business trip I will choose another hotel.
