I liked the ceramics studio very much, the place is sincere, colorful, you can feel the connection of generations, the spirit of creativity and love for your business. There is an exhibition hall where you can take a short tour and buy your favorite products there. There is a workshop where all this was made, there is a large courtyard where you want to sit with a cup of coffee or tea.
I found the site on the Internet and initially went to buy myself a vase, there are no prices on the site. The price is what the star was removed for. Of course, it may be inexpensive for handmade, but my colleagues and I couldn't afford the purchase. The cheapest vase starts at $200. But I couldn't leave without a gift, I bought small plates on the wall, they cost $ 10.
I recommend the place to visit, I wanted to stay there longer, but there was no opportunity. There were also English-speaking guests who were treated to tea and national dishes). The size of the plate is 8-10 cm.
It's a beautiful place. The hospitable host greets and leads to the workshop and gallery, where, through the art and the life of several generations of his family, he tells the centuries-old history of the country.
Rakhimov's father and son are very interesting people. They make beautiful products. And the master class that was held with us is very memorable. Adults, like children, painted plates with great pleasure. I recommend the ceramics studio to visit. Thank you so much for an interesting guided tour
Perhaps the best place in Tashkent, and perhaps in the whole of Central Asia, for a combination of beauty, sophistication, sincerity and creativity! The atmosphere of magic, imbued with the spirit of creation, creativity and readiness to perceive new things, all this multiplied by fantasy, based on a deep study of the origins and archaeological artifacts, careful preservation of traditions, and courage in finding their own directions. I would like to wish the family of the Rakhimov masters all the best, new creative ideas and their embodiment in new works of art! You make the world a better place! Many thanks to the entire dynasty of masters!!!
The most vivid impression of Tashkent is a visit to the wonderful family workshop - studio of the Rakhimov ceramics, this is an incredible family of talented intelligent craftsmen. The owner - Alisher, his father Akbar and son told about pottery in detail, showed everything clearly, introduced them to the history of ceramic art of Uzbekistan, conducted an interesting tour, demonstrated a variety of their magnificent works, we created several vases on the potter's wheel, the owner's wife gave us delicious tea with homemade cakes. An authentic place filled with creativity, love of craft, which is passed down from generation to generation. Time flew by unnoticed, if you are in Tashkent, be sure to visit to be filled with new knowledge, emotions and inspiration, master the traditional craft with all the subtleties and once again make sure of the hospitality of the people of Uzbekistan!
An unreal place! Those who care about ceramics will be even more delighted! I came from Moscow to see the house of this wonderful family and get to know the history!
The studio is easy to find by focusing on the pipes of the CHP, and the facade of the house is decorated with ceramics :)
The studio is divided into three parts, the courtyard where the introductory acquaintance with the subject of the tour takes place, the workshop where the products are actually created, and the house in which the exhibition of works is organized.
Some of the works at the exhibition can be purchased.
The best things are not for sale, but what is for sale is just horse money. The prices for the plates are 10 times higher than the prices in other places. On the other hand, there is of course originality, but the average person will have much, much less associations with Uzbekistan from products than from ceramics bought at Chorsu or any other place.
Well, the most incomprehensible thing for me personally, those products that I considered for purchase were far from perfect quality. It's a drip of paint, then a sprinkling of something that clearly shouldn't be there. In general, the idea of buying something there is far from the most rational.
Total: it is interesting to go on an excursion, the works made in matte style are really interesting, but they cannot be bought.
It is a very interesting place for those who are interested in the culture of Uzbekistan and local crafts. They recreate the technologies of bygone centuries and many things that can only be seen in museums here you can touch and buy.
It is interesting to be here, to watch the stages of the ceramic manufacturing process. You can't buy almost anything specifically here - in a small showroom all the goods have already been booked, a pair of vases for $ 400 and small plates for 10 are available
A beautiful rich farm.
The Master himself is very hospitable, but the national motifs in the national products, as they say, did not enter into me.
The tea is very tasty.👍
We visited here for the first time on an excursion with a tour group. And a week later we came to the Rakhimov's purposefully and now three elegant products from the exhibition warm the soul in our house. Everything that is done here is unique.
