This chain of fast food eateries and cafeterias is probably one of the symbols of Canada. They are everywhere - there is not even a small town where there would not be a couple of these cafeterias. The franchise network was founded in 1964 by Tim Horton, a hockey player for the Maple Leafs. In Toronto, these cafeterias are in and near every mall, at the intersection of all major streets. In the northern part of Toronto, at the intersection of Finch and Bathurst, there are even two separate and competing cafeterias of this chain. I buy coffee in an average cup with double sugar and double milk, often a doughnut or two. Expenses 3 - 4 USD.
