Quite a decent and not very expensive hotel in the historical center of Amsterdam on the banks of the Amstel River and the canal, a five-minute walk from the flower market, the red light district and the famous Rembrandt Square. And according to legend, the same Harmens van Rijn Rembrandt painted his famous painting "Night Watch" here (not to be confused with a movie!). It takes 15-20 minutes on foot to the central station, or a couple of tram stops. And you can walk to the central Dam Square and the royal palace in 7-8 minutes without hurrying. In general, everything is close and convenient. Those who love the classic style will feel it already in the central hall, near the reception, in the restaurant and rooms.
A wonderful hotel! Cozy, quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Pleasant and attentive staff. Clear. Beautiful bed linen. We walked around the city a lot and always returned to the room with pleasure. I recommend it to everyone!
Good location ... The hotel itself is not very comfortable, but in the old town there are practically no such places to comfortably have everything. In any case, up to 300 euros per day. I lived in a room for about 350 euros, with a gorgeous view from the windows, but it's still only one or two rooms for the entire hotel. The staff is very friendly, but I have not met anyone else there and in other hotels. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Good, but not great.
