I really liked this hotel. It harmoniously combines the interiors of an ancient castle (the hotel is really located in the historical building of one of the castles of Sintra) and the highest level of service. Attentive staff, perfect cleanliness, very thoughtful layout. Despite the fact that this is a modern hotel, the creators tried to recreate the feeling of living in castles like this. For example, there are a lot of open living rooms where you can sit and chat. It turns out that you feel at home. It doesn't feel like you're living in a hotel. It is perceived as a completely residential space. You can walk from one living room to another, they are all different and interesting in their own way. Since there are few rooms, you hardly cross paths with other guests. And if you cross paths, then everyone greets and greets. A very homely atmosphere. The hotel has a swimming pool and a beautiful maze garden. There is a modern SPA center. The rooms have all the amenities - bathroom, of course, TV, air conditioning. Of course, the restaurant is in the same style. The dishes are mostly local cuisine, quite original. They easily select an individual menu if you are allergic to some products. It is worth staying at the hotel for a few days. From here it is very convenient to inspect the castles of Sintra (they are literally across the street, well, further up the hill). Just a couple of days is enough to take a quiet walk everywhere. Well, actually, you can also walk around the hotel itself, almost like a museum. The hotel is on booking, you can book it yourself. Tours, as I understand it, are only combined. For example, we went from Quinta www.quinta.ru We had Lisbon + Sintra + Algarve. As for me, it's a great option for a holiday in the off-season.
