The royal tombs are part of the archaeological park of Kato Paphos, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
There are 8 tombs on the territory of the archaeological park. Some of them are basements with a descent down, some are hills with depressions inside. The most interesting to explore are the funerary complexes with an underground courtyard decorated with columns.
An interesting place. You can even take a walk here if it's not hot. Of course, there is not much to see - the same type of buildings. The tombs were built like real houses. Even the hearths were burning. Of course, it is unrealistically difficult to scrape this out in the rock without special tools, even now. The traces of the tools are clearly visible on the walls. There's something we don't know about ancient civilizations. They had something that they don't have now - an effective and powerful tool and stone processing technology.
