Were with a child on recommendations acquaintances. We were terrified.
The waiters confused the order several times, the ingredients of dishes do not match the menu, visitors smoke indoors + instead of apologies faced with humility from a woman named Mania (her position - "not very responsible"), drove us and shouted, although we stayed due to service errors.
One score for the attentive man who planted us at the table and delicious meat hinkali.
Great location near the railway station.
A pleasant cool room with plants and gazebos.
Very tasty food - I ordered tolma and scrambled eggs with tomatoes. Tolma is the best in the city!
Polite and attentive service - at the entrance they offered to leave heavy luggage at the reception, which was pleasantly surprised. The waiters are intelligent and helpful.
According to the combination of factors (location, food, service and surroundings) - 5/5
Once and definitely never again!
I write as it is, we were looking for national cuisine with high quality food not far from the hotel. And in fact , we ended up in the 90s
The reviews, the interior and the menu are not exactly true.
All dishes are very salty…
Hash is something if the waiter explained that this is chowder broth for jelly, only without meat
The lamb carcass had to be plentifully filled with sour cream to extinguish the salt and add juiciness
Fried khinkali, which is so praised, in my opinion it's just a mockery of this dish. Fried khinkali is a crime.
The service is just separate and worthy of no more than 1 star. The recommendations on the menu are zero, the view is somehow that I am the most unloved neighbor,
The only thing worthy of praise is dolma, they really do it above all praise.
Well, the cherry on the cake is the bill!!! In just the last line + 10% !!! Apparently this is the approach to tipping, right by default to the account. Total : 16,500 AMD, for the order shown in the photo
The best Khinkali, we have been visiting Topaz for two years and bringing all our relatives and friends. And not only khinkali is good - salads are top, meat, kebabs are top, chmur is just a dump of the face, about dessert in the form of khinkali with homemade nutella and banana, strawberries and mint - it's hard to just think, so immediately salivating!
The prices are very affordable, alcohol is inexpensive. The service is excellent and sincere!
We strongly recommend you to visit ☺️
The whole family visited this restaurant on Sunday 06/16/2024, they really liked everything, the food is delicious, the portions are not small, the lemonade that they produce themselves is very tasty. Passing by on the street and you will not understand that there is a restaurant there (if you do not know the Armenian language), the place is not particularly touristic, because it is far from the center, but we really liked everything!!!
Prices are normal. The food is delicious. The service is very fast. The waiter call button! It arrives instantly! Caring, again. It's simple in the interior, but with such a service it's forgivable. We definitely recommend it.
We came in to escape the heat. A pleasant two-storey establishment with a greenhouse in the center. Marble set tables, cold beer, prices are normal, the food is delicious, the service is interesting as everywhere else) Obviously, a lot of people order delivery from them. We were satisfied, considering the geolocation, generally a great place.
Delicious khinkali, friendly attitude, local flavor, a warm place. If you want luxury, then you are not here, everything is here for those who just want to eat delicious food, and not enjoy the views.
It's plain on the outside, but inside it's a real surprise! I was pleasantly surprised.
Unrealistically huge portions and it's amazing how delicious, I definitely recommend it!
Thank you for the service!
I really liked fried eggs with tomatoes and khinkali (unusual dough, delicious. not fatty meat) is much tastier than in chain restaurants in Yerevan. I liked the sorrel salad, but it's more for an amateur. Cool enclosed patio, very green. With natural light.
A very beautiful place, a real jungle! delicious food, excellent fast service
Of the disadvantages, I would note smoking: it is very difficult to breathe inside, the smoke does not fade
An Armenian brought me to this place to "eat khinkali" in honor of our acquaintance. He said that he only comes here for this and does not order anything except hinkals and pickles (+ vodka). The service, the interior, the decor, the presentation is rather from the 90s. But I didn't care, because we came to "eat khinkali". And the Khinkali did not disappoint. These were the best khinkali I've ever eaten.
I have never eaten such a disgusting lamb kebab, however, "ate" is too strong a word, not a single piece could be cut or chewed, small pieces are not flesh, but trimmings, fried to embers and extremely salty! The waitress answers the logical question - why is it not edible? She replied with displeasure, saying, what can I do? I didn't forget to include it in the bill, as well as tips.
I'm afraid that not every guest is ready to be deliciously fed in this institution!
We had breakfast with my wife, ordered omelets, fries and beef stroganoff. Beef Stroganoff is just a huge portion (you can safely take it for two) tender meat, a pleasant sauce, I highly recommend it! The dishes are very beautiful. The service is excellent, I liked everything
It's delicious, what can I say. This compares favorably with restaurants in the center of Yerevan. Keep in mind that the restaurant is smoky, which may be unusual.
Staff's service and communication are at an extremely low level. Recommended a place like the best khinkali - khinkali is quite delicious, it's hard to call the best.
During the meal, on the second floor, directly above all the visitors, the workers cut with a grinder, which did not easily create unbearable noise, but even threw sparks directly into the room where people (!) eat, we thought it was some kind of bottom, but immediately after the grinder got (!) welding and there were flashes of dangerous radiation for clients: khinkali with a grinder and welding. In response to our request to stop welding due to the real danger to others, the waitress lowered the hanging pieces of wood-"curtains", which are just decor and do not interfere with the visibility or isolation of light in any way, which was both very comical and sad, and said, they say, be patient a little, they will finish soon.
By default, the "service fee" is included in the bill, we have seen enough-we have learned somewhere, not realizing that this line assumes at least the formal availability of the service.
Unhurried waiters, an interesting place, delicious dolma and khinkali.
The lamb kebab was too salty and dry (and there definitely wasn't the 400 grams stated on the menu.
Everything with meat was over-salted. There are no complaints about drinks, the next day there was a heavy stomach, in the evening all manifestations of poisoning appeared, in total minus a day and a half of rest spent in bed and bathroom
I heard that here are the most delicious khinkali in the city. I went there on purpose, although it was not close, I wanted to get to know the real, living Armenia (and not the tourist one).
When I arrived, I was faced with rudeness and ridicule (I was with a suitcase, and I heard that they were laughing at it), no one even greeted me, and they looked at me very askance.
There were no places, I wanted to take it out, but khinkali takeaway is offered only raw / fried. And there's not even a bench to wait for takeaway food to be prepared. I even had a suspicion that they had lied about the lack of places.
Unfortunately, I did not take the food, because with such an attitude, there was not even a desire to take something in this cafe.
The most delicious khinkali! Ordered first for a trial, then another and another) they cook quickly. The signature TOPAZ salad is delicious.
The only drawback is that the hall was smoky.
Very tasty khinkali, just huge, the prices are very affordable compared to the establishments in the center, they ate 9,000 drams for three, they write in the comments about the lack of a menu, the menu is in the form of a qr code on the tables
This place was recommended by taxis, I highly recommended trying Khinkali. I recommend to 💯
Khinkali is gorgeous with an interesting flavor. The dough is perfect, the broth was in all hinkals, including fried ones (and this is a rarity)
I have been to Yerevan twice and visited Topaz both times. Everything is very tasty! Khinkali are the best in the world!
Fast and friendly service.
Thanks!
These are very tasty khinkali with the thinnest dough that I have ever met anywhere. Boiled with meat and herbs just came in. Fried with meat are very fatty. They are very salty with cheese. I didn't like them.
To be honest, I was told that this is a good place, I came here, I was surprised that there was no service, a rude man at the checkout, who instead of going to a meeting and chatting normally, says that we are in the way, honestly, I did not eat food here, but the general impressions of the place were negative, not even I want to come!
If you don't want to spoil the mood, I don't recommend coming!!!
