We really liked this place, the best camping in Abkhazia, where you feel safe, complete privacy with nature , stunning sunrises and sunsets, hospitable Temur and Svetlana , there are all conditions for a tent camp, electricity , showers, toilet , sinks, drinking water. There is a small shop. This is the first place I want to go back to. There is a bungee into the river, the children really liked it.

The best and favorite place❤ We have been resting for three years in a row, and I think we will come back again and again! The territory is huge, houses for every taste, a dining room, a barbecue area, an area for activities and games, a river, the sea, a camping area. A very kind and helpful host. It's a wonderful place. Wonderful hosts, Timur and his wife Svetlana, the cordiality is off the scale. You can eat in the dining room, they cook delicious. The base is developing, new houses are being built and in general it gets better every summer. The Internet catches almost on the beach, there is a sauna, a river with a bridge. Another of the advantages are cute animals, cats and dogs.

The food is ordinary homemade, but I didn't have enough usual food, but this is fixable - you can take houses with a kitchen.

The rest in Tamysh was two days.Therefore , it was not boring .
What is great is the swimming pool,very tasty cuisine in the cafe on site,large Parking,the presence of a cafe.
What is bad is that there is no beach as such.very inhospitable staff on site, the breakfasts are tasteless.We didn't stay hungry, but it's really not tasty!
It will be suitable for a couple of days of rest!

This base is a great place for those who are tired of the stone jungle and want to be in nature, away from tourists, Even when there are many people living at the base, the beach is very free. Clean dining room, comfortable houses with air conditioning and their own bathroom. Timur, the owner of the base, helps in everything, improves the quality and helps in everything. We like to relax here because of the alder grove on the beach, the river and the acceptable distance from mass tourist sites. It was an unforgettable 6 days.
We lived in the srabs, it was clean, sometimes a mouse came, but if they didn't bring food, it wasn't there. The shower is good, but you need to wash first, otherwise the water did not have time to heat up. There is an Internet connection.
The beauty of the place is in the location. River, sea, silence. No noise from the city or the inherent beach holiday at the resort.

For me, the best camp site in Abkhazia. Helpful host, nice houses. Excellent sauna, barbecue area. You can swim both in the sea and in the river. And the thermal springs are a 10-minute drive away. One of my favorite vacation spots in Abkhazia, I recommend it.

There's some kind of confusion here. There Is A Campsite There. It has been around for a very long time. There is a sea and a river flowing into the sea. There is a suspension bridge across the river to get to the sea. There are different houses for living, both wooden log cabins with amenities on the street and houses with amenities in the room. The facilities are clean and well maintained by the way. There is always hot water in the shower and there is never a queue for either the toilet or the shower. You can also stand up with a tent here. The owner of the base, Timur, is a responsive, open person who will always come to the rescue) Delicious homemade food in the dining room. Of course, there is not enough meat, but you can always make a barbecue, and Timur often arranges evenings for all guests with delicious treats. We have traveled here several times and we are again drawn to this magnificent place like a magnet. This time we are planning with tents. I'm looking forward... for some

I do not recommend tent tents for tourists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!There are a lot of positive reviews from cottages and bungalows, don't waste your time.

In the spring and early summer, there was a correspondence clarifying the conditions. (The presence of a children's camp is not in the general area of the tent camp)
In fact, the orphanage occupied almost the entire normal territory, leaving tourists places in the damp uneven undergrowth, next to the ruins.
Timur's proposal to stay at a distance of 500 meters is idiotic, the second proposal is to stay up to the river in the sun, among broken concrete.
I do not advise and will not recommend, this campsite got on the road of the Achandar campsite, the main loot, and there will be a tourist without complaints.
And a makeshift bridge is dangerous if you risk dropping your belongings into the river. The bridge is chattering a lot, and the presence of children turns the passage into an attraction.
There are many reasonable hosts with normal camping accommodation, and not in the middle of nowhere.

We rested for 15 days at the base in July in the family camp "Sea of Consent". The base is hello Soviet times, but very nice and free. Small rooms in wooden houses and a toilet with a washbasin are shared in a separate house. There are 5 camping sites with amenities inside, there are shield houses even easier. Who wants to get up with a tent on the shore in the woods. There is a simple dining room, good-quality, but simple (almost vegan, I'm sorry, but I really wanted meat :)))).
But! PROS: Wild beach, FREEDOM for children, and for us too. The beach is all yours!!!!!!! That's the cool thing about it. Children run freely around the territory themselves.
And!!!!!! Not a single rotovirus, sick stomach and other things in all children.
Among the advantages for tent owners are sockets right next to tents on a tree, showers, a toilet.
There are 2 shared washing machines!!!
P.S. one drawback is that there are no towels in the houses.
In general, it is not customary for Abkhazians to give towels to the campaign.Even in hotels there are none :))) probably a local joke.
A comfortable quiet place to relax from civilization!
Of course, I do not recommend without a car.
There are many places around, there is something to travel and see.

We had a rest at the end of August 2023. I can't tell you anything about the houses, because we rested in tents. The camping area is located across the river. The bridge is suspended. Carry your belongings, tent, and everything you need over the bridge. Tents can be set up both on the shore and under the trees. But there are a lot of caterpillars under the trees, which is not very pleasant. The sea is dirtier than Pitsunda. There is a shop, a canteen. The shower and toilet are Spartan.

Great place! Very positive staff, we got a house by the sea, in the farthest corner, super! There aren't many people, but it's fun! There is music in the restaurant every evening.the pool is always clean. One of the disadvantages is the monotonous menu in the restaurant ((( I would like national cuisine. For us it was the most comfortable camping in Abkhazia (out of 4).There is a parking lot outside the gate, a large area with sockets and lights on the trees.A beautiful suspension bridge across the river from the parking lot (but in my opinion it swings dangerously),showers, outdoor sinks, toilets.
All this is being monitored, that is, it is not running.It 's not squeamish to go to the toilet there .
There are tennis tables, toys for children, hammocks near the parking lot.
They did not answer us for 2 weeks through booking and we decided to just come while we were driving, they just answered and said that in any case they would not have left us on the street and would have accepted us))))

Positive. Cheap cost of housing. The house is next to the sea, there is a swimming pool. Apart from certain items on the menu, the food is delicious.

Cons: We ordered the first line by the sea, overlooking the sea. Nowhere on the website does it say that the first line means the first THREE rows from the sea. We chose this place because we thought that the first line would really be the first line. We were placed in the second row of houses with a view of the urn and a small piece of the sea. The shower drain is clogged in the bathroom, while you wash, the water manages to reach the edge of the pallet. The toilet stinks. When you turn on the split, a very unpleasant resonant buzzing begins, rattling, very uncomfortable. The walls in the house will be cardboard, you can hear a lot when they talk in the next room, and what is happening on the street, too. We lived on 5th Street and we could hear the music blaring on the food court until 00:00. The closer to it, the more audible it is, respectively. The Internet works only near the reception and on the food court, there is no Internet in the houses. The accommodation is cheap, breakfast is included, and then everything is paid, in the end it turns out not as cheap as expected! Parking alone for less than 5 days came out 800 rubles. Parking a car in the parking lot 200 rubles per day, if you want to put a car next to the house 1500 rubles per day!!. If you need a kettle, iron or blanket, you will also pay according to the price list. We knew about this, so we took with us: a hair dryer, an iron, a kettle, a blanket and even a chair!) Yes, there is nowhere to put clothes in houses! There are only two beds and a table. Our chair saved a lot in this sense. By the way, every time you leave the territory and enter it, you need to open the trunk to the uncle guard. why??? WHAT TO STEAL? A BLOCK FROM SPLIT,? So if you really want to, you can hide it in the cabin.... In general, it's a crazy procedure.
Due to the large number of restrictions and fines, it seemed that we were in some kind of children's camp. You can swim in the sea until 21:00, and in the pool until 20:00. And if you violate it, then the fine is 10,000 rubles. And wherever you spit, there are fines everywhere.... You will take away the dishes from the food court area with a fine of 7500r. We were also told about this when we didn't hear the coffee with us or not. Unpleasant. This is the first time I've seen this! The breakfasts that are included in the price are the same every day, only sausages are made from "meat", but for such money it is expected ... But the service in the cafe, at lunch and dinner (which are not included in the price) leaves much to be desired, some waiters serve as if they are doing a favor. Once a girl served, she looked about 17 years old. We ordered pumpkin soup 2 pieces, ribs, pancakes and cheesecake with coffee. The food was taken out in the wrong order: cheesecake with coffee, pancakes, ribs, and she did not hear or forgot that we ordered soup. (and it should have been: first the soup, then the second, then the dessert) We asked where the soup was, she said we hadn't ordered it, and started arguing. As a result, we got pumpkin soup, but it turned out to be terrible, because the cream soup itself was simply diluted with water. (there is something to compare it with, because we ate it a few days earlier and the same soup was delicious and of a completely different consistency) In the store, they tried to find at least some buns for the road, but they did not find them, it seemed that apart from an unrealistic amount of cookies and several types of chocolate, there was nothing else from the snack. While we were there, the weather was changeable. The sea was stormy. The water is dirty, you can't swim. On the day after, when the sea calmed down, the water was still dirty, it felt like it was not the black sea, but the Dolzhanskaya Spit. In the same Gagra, even during a storm, the water was somehow cleaner. Birch and eucalyptus trees grow on the territory. But at the time of our stay there, a large number of trees were cut down, we could not find out the reason for what. They PROBABLY said not to get caught in the wind. As a result, the appearance has suffered considerably, now there are stumps in half of the territory. If this is done in all the trees, then the whole point is lost (living in a eucalyptus grove.....)

The territory is well-groomed, the houses have only what is necessary without air conditioning, a quiet place is surrounded by greenery and birdsong, there is a direct path to the sea on foot through a suspension bridge, everything is nearby, but it is better not to go to the store yourself even during the day (there are jackals in the forest and howl merrily at night), from the base they can give a ride to a roadside store (the choice is meager), it is better to shop in Ochamchire or Sukhum.
San. nodes are located on the street, there is a summer shower behind the dining room and a rural toilet.
The beach itself borders a tent camp, there is plenty of space.
Going into the sea is a separate topic, because there are a lot of large stones, without rubber slippers it will be uncomfortable for an amateur.
In the dining room, the food is delicious for 3 rubles / day, the portions are good. If you don't eat something, tell the cook.
There is wine, honey and other gifts of nature for a fee.
Everything is polite, honest and open.
Lovers of luxury will certainly be welcome here, everyone is equal here, but this is a place for the kind and free-spirited.

Everything is just fine except for the food at the local "restaurant".
In the bar, cocktails are just ice and soda (alcohol as from an eyedropper), they ordered an Abkhazian lunch -khachapuri in Adjarian terrible, with frozen wooden cheese and wooden sides, borscht-like in the university's worst canteen, Shish kebab was brought oak and cold, rotten tomatoes with a smell and flavor in pizza, and in the declared "ham and cheese" put soy boiled sausage, not a piece of ham.
The kitchen is very poor, there is nothing to order from the menu, and what is there is of disgusting quality.
Biblioglobus, have a tasting of the dishes that are fed to tourists!
Your cook of the hot shop,pizzaiolo, brazier will simply turn away all tourists from this place!!!

Good people, that's right. A very good place, quiet. The camping area is very large - the whole coast is at your disposal. The territory of the campsite is fenced, separated from the "beach" by a river, through which a bridge stretches. There is a place for tents on the "beach", the shore is not fenced and smoothly passes into the forest and rural lands of the nearest village. The dining room is open in summer. The campsite has a water closet and a hot shower for general use. There is a rural toilet and a cold shower on the shore. There are conditional campfire zones in the camping area. For Abkhazia, the existing conditions can be considered luxurious, although the seal of desolation still lies here. If you have to cook on your own, you need to keep in mind that the nearest shops are 3-4 km away, and they leave much to be desired. It is worth traveling here with a company or family and by car, otherwise you will get bored.

The place is amazing! We stayed in a wooden house, at a temperature of more than 30 t it was comfortable in the room, not hot, WiFi throughout the territory, I caught well at our house, but I don't want to sit on the Internet in such a place)) The territory is large, there is a place to walk, the sea is beyond the bridge.) We had a rest with our pet, everyone was very welcoming to us, especially the owner is a very good person, thank you again Temur! Let's sort out some confusion in the Tamysh camp sites. In the 21st year, in addition to the "Tamysh campsite", the "Tamysh village" was also built in this village. These are two completely different places. Unfortunately, reviews and photos from both places have started to get in the way here, and I'll try to clarify what applies to what.
The first campsite, which has existed for many years, is a paradise surrounded by greenery, where you can live in wooden log cabins or tents, with a very tasty homemade kitchen in the dining room. A river flows through the campsite, over which a suspension bridge is stretched. The base is located on the seashore. There is no cocktail bar and pool (yet), the main gem of this place is the people who meet you and take care of you. A shady area protects from the heat of the day. The contacts of this particular database are listed here in the description.
The second is "Tamysh village" - a new holiday destination with many houses in the open air. There is a swimming pool, a bar, a shop and a pharmacy, a police station. I can't say anything more about this place, because I haven't rested here. I am attaching 2 photos from the air so that you can make your own choice!

Hello, we have gathered here in 2 days. They didn't regret it at all. We left our review number 1 At the Reception with words of gratitude. Special thanks to the administrators Dmitry, Alkhas and all the girls administrators who quickly and efficiently solved all the minor everyday difficulties. We stayed there for a whole week. For those who doubt, I will say it is absolutely safe there. There are several police officers on duty all the time, 4-5 rescuers, plus Security in the evening, everything goes with lanterns. So it's quiet there. The room has hot water, a shower, an air conditioner that works both in cold mode and can heat the air in the evening, especially important for mountainous areas. There is a huge parking lot if you are driving. Dancing in the evening. The territory is clean. Every day there is a NEW improvement of the base. I don't think we'll know her in a year. Of the advantages in this place, only a heated swimming pool and a smooth entrance for children. I personally went there to relax and not listen to music that beats all day until 00:00 because the houses are made of the cheapest materials, I could only fall asleep after 00:00. There is no service, it feels like you are being done a favor. There is no food. The constant cackling and shouting of the locals in their language (as if they had entered some kind of village). The only plus was that my daughter liked it, but she didn't get out of the pool.

The place is simply gorgeous. A river with clear water flowing into the sea. Fishing is like in an aquarium. But Abkhazia itself is very unkempt.
