In Florence, did you doubt whether it was worth going to Pisa for this tower? I decided to go and see. The Leaning Tower of Pisa and the cathedral have some kind of magnetism, there is nothing to compare them with, they are fascinating. Having traveled all over Europe and seen dozens of different cathedrals and towers, I liked it. Definitely worth seeing. Entrance to the territory is free, and if you do not want to enter the tower or cathedral itself, then you do not need tickets, you will already take a lot of cool photos on its background.And you definitely need to take a stupid photo of how you hold the tower))) Next to the tower there is a small bazaar with souvenirs and things, prices in Pisa are much cheaper than in Florence and Milan!
I was impressed by its beauty and grandeur! A large green area called
Piazza dei Miracoli (Italian Piazza dei Miracoli, which translates as "square of miracles") is a huge, walled square in the old part of the Italian city of Pisa, one of the most famous examples of medieval architecture.
Four masterpieces of medieval architecture are located on the square:
* The Cathedral of Pisa;
* Leaning Tower of Pisa;
* Baptistery;
* Campo Santo Cemetery.
In 1987, the architectural ensemble was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The tower in Pisa is no longer falling, an engineering solution has been found. The tower crowns the Square of Miracles with a baptismal chapel and a cathedral. The construction of the tower began in the 12th century, more precisely, in 1173. This Romanesque style building, each tier of the tower has 30 columns with capitals and arches. It looks most beautiful at dawn and late at night, when there are fewer tourists and, accordingly, thieves and beggars. There are surprisingly many medieval churches in Pisa, you can arrange a tour along each bank of the Arno, but Yandex knows only two points from the whole city and does not allow you to write about other Pisan beauties. And in vain, the romance of Pisa is beautiful not only in one famous square.
We came to Pisa to see their main attraction!
We liked it, it was very interesting.
Of course, there were not long queues, but this is not an obstacle.
We recommend visiting👍🏻
What can I say about the Leaning Tower of Pisa, only good memories of visiting it, the hotel was rented directly opposite the tower and there are a lot of people at any time, but in the evening around 9 and later everyone settles into their places and restaurants and it becomes sparsely populated and you can safely walk and take a photo
While we were enjoying cappuccino under the leaning tower, our car was smashed and robbed in the parking lot. The alarm went off. No one reacted, although the guard guarding the territory of the Leaning Tower of Pisa is 5 meters away. The police did not find out anything, and did not try.

I had an argument with my friends: they claimed that there was nothing to see in Pisa except the area with the tower. But it seems to me that this is a city with a rich history and its own way of life, which has other attractions.

It's a very beautiful place. I recommend going upstairs
The tilt is strongly felt inside the tower. Especially at altitude.
The town is small, everything can be bypassed in a couple of hours, student life is bustling, look for a good place for coffee and relaxation further from the tower, fun and fun
Other expectations, but the tower is scary if you climb it. There is probably no special way to go, but if you pass by, then you need to stop by. In addition to the tower, you can see the cathedral and the cemetery. It's all one complex
Well, it seems to be worth the norm. The place is a 10/10 vibe.

It is better to visit this place at the least crowded time, and this is either March and April, or October. Then you can enjoy the beauty of these places in full.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a bell tower, part of the ensemble of the municipal Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (Pisa Cathedral) in the city of Pisa, which has gained worldwide fame due to its unintentional tilt.
Are you sure it's time (at least by 202? to build a similar bell tower in the cultural capital of Russia (alternatively, on the land of the "SEC named after V.V. ... " in the village of Giant Malyginsky rural settlement of the Kovrovsky district of the Vladimir region), which will receive worldwide fame and money from numerous tourists, thanks to the deliberate inclination of our Russian builders.
There will be no problems with the name of the tower - the option of the Leaning Tower is not considered!
Say what you like, but it's a story.
I visited the Square of Miracles three years ago.
The place is interesting and worth visiting at least once. Unfortunately, due to limited time (I arrived from Rome, departure in 3 hours), I did not climb the tower, and also did not enter the cathedral. But there is a reason to return after the "crown".
By the way, on the way from the square to the airport there is just a bomb cafe (the Arabs keep it) with huge portions. Delicious and inexpensive for volume.
The whole trick was that it was built in violation of construction technologies. When Pedro came to Conchitta for eggs for mortar, she gave her daughter in marriage and fed eggs to the guests, but instead gave him a little, the solution turned out to be of poor quality and the tower will turn until it completely falls!
I looked at this wonderful bell tower and that's what I thought... and why build such large buildings (I mean the church itself - Santa Maria Assunta and the baptistery or baptismal church in our opinion, which stand together with the tower) in such a backwater? Who did they baptize there (what is the number of parishioners)? There are 500 people who can be "processed" at a time... The dimensions of the buildings are what!
And if my memory serves me correctly, there are about 70 thousand people living in Pisa, and it looks like a big village... I mean, this town doesn't want to have such magnificent buildings in it!
Or did they drive people here from all over the Apennine Peninsula or something ...
in general, they are strange - these Italians 😄
When you are in Pisa, do not miss the opportunity to climb the tower. Otherwise, after (or before) Eiffel Tower and Burj Khalifa will be very insulting). In 2019, tourists were allowed in, the queue was small, but in the sun. Water and a hat are recommended. It is low, you will not see it from the streets of Pisa, you will have to search on the map. But the town is small, you will definitely find it. You don't even have to ask.

If you want to go upstairs, be prepared to spend 3-4 hours.
Very beautiful. There are many museums. It's better to see it once than to hear it. I really liked the way the girl sings in the cathedral. The acoustics are just great. All the time the kids ask us to go there when we are there
A very tiny town, where, in fact, except for the Leaning Tower and the square with the cathedral and other sights, there is nothing to see! But I'm actually talking about the tower! She actually gave a roll to the side, the tower itself is not particularly large, or rather high! I was with my wife in June, there are a lot of tourists!I think everyone should see the tower after all, who comes on an excursion to Italy!
