There is a cafe "Batki"... As an alternative, I recommend cooking "Irina service". There's one downside. You'll have to eat standing up. But they cook very well. The products are fresh. I especially recommend stuffed chicken legs, stuffed squid and pickled cabbage (a la Slutsky). Wonderful desserts)
The station is normal and clean.
But there are a lot of people of Gypsy nationality. They stick to citizens all the time (or I was so lucky). They ask for money. The complete absence of police, it is not possible to ask for help.
The toilet is paid, the visit costs 1 ruble. The urine stinks godlessly, it seems that they have not heard of disinfectants.
She lived in the recreation room. The staff is polite, the room is normal. Problems with the shower, I flushed the water for about 15 minutes, but I did not get hot.
I was in Gomel from September 13 to September 14.
Very comfortable rest rooms at the train station. Reasonable price, cleanliness and order. Responsive and professional staff.impressions are only positive from both service and comfort
It is not the best train station for the regional center. It is divided into a suburban and a long-distance railway station. The waiting rooms are small. There is a buffet, in principle, you can eat. I put a huge plus for the rest rooms - inexpensive, right in the station building, you can spend the night without problems.
I often use our train station (frequent trips). Polite staff, excellent cashiers, small queues. Available information. Accessible from all areas of the city. There is a place to relax, a good cafe.
A beautiful train station. But through the underpass, you have to carry your suitcase in your hands, there is no way to roll it down. It's inconvenient. It's the same with the waiting room (it's on the second floor), once again you can't go up and down with weights, and there's no way to sit down, relax - there's not enough space.
My old favorite train station. Quite sufficient, considering the new building. Although they do not harmonize architecturally in any way. But it's an old story.
Historically speaking, its reconstruction is very large-scale. Beautiful and well-groomed, there is a place to eat, wait for the train, go to the toilet.
It is a very beautiful place for visitors. The location of the ticket offices, parking and a cafe with a toilet in a convenient location. The staff is helpful and sociable everywhere.
A worthy monument of classicism, large, spacious, many times exceeds the passenger traffic. I was pleased with the presence of the Batsky cafe and a phone charging stand in the waiting room on the second floor.
A huge train station with a large number of retail outlets, both inside and in the forecourt area. You can conveniently wait for your train, have a delicious meal and quickly get to all platforms through the underpass.
It is located in the city center, there is a large parking lot, the ticket offices are busy, the queues are not large. The toilet is located on the street. There is a hotel and a cafe nearby
The station is like a train station, with a waiting room, with a public catering point "Batski", ATMs "Sberbank" and "Belarusbank", a stall Belsayuzdruk, shops with flowers and souvenirs... In general, the good old Gomel Railway Station)))
For the station of the regional city, it would be necessary to update the cash register and waiting room (the racks and chairs are worn), so I did not understand where the toilet is. There is a good cafe at the station - tasty and inexpensive.
A large very cozy train station, there is a large waiting room, very nice and cozy cafes, I would like to put more trains through it to come here more often
Time stopped during the Soviet Union! There is even a monument to Lenin at this station! The building of the new station is modern. But the storage rooms are located where you need to go down the stairs, which is very inconvenient to do with luggage! There is a cafe "Bangki" in the station building! A great place to eat and take with you!
A huge, human thank you to the employee of the recreation room!!! I got into the situation and allowed my wife to take a shower (although there is no such service at the station), kindly provided a towel and did not take a penny. But the luggage storage disappointed... The cells are scanty, only backpacks fit, the suitcase did not fit, I had to use a rack. And it is more expensive and there is a fee for each unit. When they took things out of the cell, cockroaches were crawling there...
The train station is like a train station. There is free Wi-Fi, authorization via phone. Small, cozy. It's pretty clean, well, it's inherent in all public places of the Republic of Belarus.
In general, everything is very cool, clean and pleasant.
There is a nuance, the way of long-distance trains is not indicated on the scoreboard

Well done, everything is European, there is no need to drag a suitcase up the steps to the trains, there is a special separate path for people with suitcases, not that in Russia it sucks completely, there is no concern for people.
I did not communicate with the staff, the location is of course convenient, as you understand, I also did not use the cash register, because there is Internet. By the way, the Internet WIFI at the station works only with a local SIM card. At least I couldn't connect with my megaphone. The repair is probably from the USSR.
But there are only 8 Soviet chairs to turn gray while waiting for the train, and then in the right wing where there are cafes and flower shops.
Toilets.. This is a song about Polesie. Only in the wing of regional shipments, in the basement with a price of 1 ruble. Belarusian. But it is relatively clean, but the toilet cubicles contain the same Soviet theme, they simply do not exist.
And so, in general, the impression is good, I visited the 90s of Russia.
There is a waiting room, a hotel, a toilet, a cafe nearby and long queues at the ticket offices, half of the ticket offices are closed as usual. The parking lot is small and almost all is occupied by taxis, and there is a public transport stop nearby.
As a guest of the city, I really liked the station. There is a spacious waiting room, a cafe, places to charge smartphones. Between the first and second floors there is a mini-museum with railway paraphernalia from previous years.
Very clean!!It's nice )
The necessary information is posted everywhere. You won't get lost)
Everything is within walking distance:both transport and shops.
A fairly standard Soviet-style train station. ATMs - only Belarusbank. There are no toilets in the central station building, you have to go either to the left to the "Volcano" or to the right, down to prigorodny (not far). There is also a luggage room. There is no place to have a snack before 11.00, except at the Gomel Hotel, which is on the right, next to it. The waiting room on the second floor is almost always empty.
Everything is wonderful: cozy, modern equipment, comfortable.
The second floor is only half empty, probably something is already in the plan. It would be interesting as a zone for travel agencies in a colorful ambient
The staff is responsive, though not always. The location is quite convenient. Parking is not the most successful, most often it's just not possible to drive up. The queues at the ticket office are quite large, sometimes you have to stand for 15 minutes. But overall it's not a bad place.
I can't say anything bad about my city, and it deserves the best. Except for one thing. There is a great cafe-BATKI. "The branch. But he's been working since 11 a.m... And so... Fast food is all around. For an amateur. Around the clock. I'm not an amateur. Otherwise, the station is clean, pleasant, there are various services. Everything is fine.
The staff is polite - they will always tell you. I didn't see any queues at the ticket offices. You can charge your phone on the 2nd floor - for free! There is a toilet, and there is also a place for temporary luggage storage. There is a place to eat, and there is also a regular grocery store and a Burger king nearby!

After visiting the railway station of Gomel, I found myself back in the USSR. There is a large statue of Lenin between the first and second floors. The whole station is in the Soviet style. Clean and clean))). Only electronic scoreboards remind us of today. It feels interesting.
An interesting Soviet-built building.
One snack bar will not be enough, although the passenger traffic is not large and not very wealthy, but it was possible to open a snack bar easier, as at the bus station, for example.
