The port city of Petropavlovsk))). A transit point for crossing the border between Kazakhstan and Russia in two directions, to Kurgan and Omsk. The station itself is not very remarkable. There is a rest room, but I didn't stay in it. The waiting room is on the third floor, the steps are very high and steep, inconvenient. There is no elevator. The interior is in the Soviet style with additions of the Kazakh national flavor, in the form of many kiosks selling Chinese goods, SIM cards of the Russian Federation and KZ, sweets. Across the street from the train station there is a decent dining room with an acceptable price, across the square there is a supermarket for those who forgot to buy cigarettes and alcohol before leaving for the Russian Federation. Taxi drivers are ready to take you to the border and hand you over to your brothers in mind on the other side. Omsk- Petropavlovsk 2000₽, Petropavlovsk - Petukhovo 3000₽.
The train was delayed for 9 hours. Nothing was offered in return. No free storage, no lunch, no room service or bus ticket. People handed over their tickets and looked for a taxi to Astana or Karaganda themselves. When I asked at the counters about the flight delay, I received only a boorish attitude.
It's cold on the ground floor. There is no mother and child room, which is generally very upsetting. The toilets are clean.Very expensive luggage storage and movers' services. A homeless man was sleeping right in front of the ticket offices and no one touched him...
The station is new and cozy. The attitude of the staff to the passengers is good, it was even possible to exchange rubles for tenge using a Russian passport.
A nice, modern, new train station. It's a pity that escalators often don't work. And there is only one hot food outlet, and then.. they sell only the second one. And so.. It's quite good
After the renovation, the station looks very decent, the only drawback is why all these checkpoints when the gates are always open on the side of the station?
The station is beautiful the luggage storage is expensive it was still raining the roof is leaking the station workers substituted buckets so as not to flow on the floor
Well, what can I say, you can't call the movers, you had to carry the suitcases one at a time when you got off the train for a transfer. And ask the attendant to call at least someone to take them to the taxi. When I transferred to another train, the taxi driver generally helped me carry my suitcases into the carriage
I liked the service of the railway station staff, good, convenient halls for waiting for my train.
Inside the station on the top floor there are places to relax, of course there are difficulties, in terms of when you have heavy bags, it can be difficult to climb to the floor, it is not very convenient for a couple, due to the fact that the passage where the steps to the top are narrow, if another person goes to meet you, you almost have to pass sideways, we would add an escalator running in different directions. And so, in general, everything is fine.
The information window is not aware of schedule changes. On Saturday, December 24, we arrived on the Talgo train at 14:18 at Alma-Ata. The train has been cancelled. Nothing is clear about the replacement, by nightfall not earlier. Tickets cannot be refunded. It's a mess.
A Soviet-era railway station, but renovated and clean. I had to go to the medical center, I was pleasantly surprised. A very pleasant young man listened to complaints, gave advice, and had a conversation.
The repair is good. The staff was not rude. Access to the platforms is convenient. The toilets are in good condition. There are no cafes as such, there are a couple of buffets.
It's a little sad, it's kind of empty....I didn't feel it before, although a new building was built...big, bright, clean....but...in my opinion, something is missing..That's my feeling!!!!
Everything is clean and beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was that not a single store was open at night, although the station seemed to be a hub(
Everything is fine, but tickets are sold only for cash

The new station is much better than the last one, which was like a garbage dump. There are cafes, you can have a snack, but this is not a restaurant, of course, but you will not starve, although you can do something more diverse.
In general, the new design of the stations pleases, there are no stalls with Chinese things, there is no such feeling that you have got to the bazaar.
