A railway station operated in the Lakes, on Vokzalnaya Street, at the junction of Vokzalny Lane, from the 1920s to the early 1960s. The broad gauge line went to the Lakes from the station "Zhytomyr". Ozery railway station was also the hub of three local narrow-gauge railways to Tobolsk, Dubinka and Shklensk. Do the villagers remember this landmark?
