A hard mattress, stuffiness in the room, especially if the window is not on the square, unsanitary conditions in the shower, a kettle for an additional fee is generally a laugh, the main air conditioner works only as a fan, you need to turn on the one in the window, but it rattles so much that take earplugs if it is not possible to live in another hotel, otherwise you will not fall asleep. However, there is shampoo, gel and tual paper, and it was cleaned 2 times in 5 nights. do not be fooled by the type of "cool back to the Soviet past", keep in mind that it is everywhere there and outside the hotel room and in the steppe and a normal hotel can become the only place to relax, but this is not about the central one.

We were at the launch of the Soyuz MS 22, lived for almost a week in a suite on the 3rd floor. Upon arrival, we expected the worst, having read the reviews, but I can't say that as a result there is something to complain about. The bed is large, the mattress is solid, not sagging, comfortable, the linen is good white, as in normal hotels. The air conditioning was on, the water was hot too, the pressure was excellent, even when we all went to the hotel at the same time in the evenings after the cosmodrome. There are a sufficient number of lighting devices, including nightlights, you can not turn on the overhead light and in general it is even cozy ... TV, refrigerator, dishes, kettle, two balconies ... we did not see cockroaches, the staff is friendly. Of the minuses, the elevator did not always work and they say the kitchen is to hell with it. But since the hotel is located in the very center and adjacent to the pedestrian "Arbat", there were no problems with where to eat at all (by the way, we highly recommend the cafe "Starry Sky"). Another plus is the post office at the end of the hotel, from where you can send themed postcards to your family and friends.
On a solid C-grade. The towels are battered. I even like Soviet interiors, especially the stained glass in the main hall. The shower room is in poor condition. Otherwise, it's OK.
An old Soviet hotel without modern renovation, blowing from the doors and windows. The prices are prohibitively high. The price and quality are not comparable.
The prices are inadequate, the condition of the hotel is "hello USSR", window air conditioners are just tin. Even if they are cold, it is simply unrealistic to fall asleep to their roar. Even if you turn off your own, the neighbors will not let you sleep with their howling. Mattresses with protruding springs. The water seems to be hot as it is, but in fact it is not, a barely warm trickle flows. The administrators at the entrance think that the tenants should thank them for letting them spend the night (which, in principle, is not far from the truth, it is a very problematic occupation to rent a house on Baikonur). In short, all those who did not live with the scoop, but passionately dream of it - velcom...

Well, you can live, Wi-Fi would be even stronger in distant rooms. We're not going to rest, we're coming to work...and the restaurant would be on coupons
The Soviet hotel. There is a cooler on the floor. The hot water runs out quickly in the evening. There is a refrigerator in the room from the pros and an old TV.
The price is 4800 for an economy room. Breakfast is not included in the price (maybe this is for the best, since the local restaurant is disgusting) . Cleaning is done randomly. Until he started to make a fuss, the room was not cleaned for 4 days. Very bad, right at all
One of the advantages is the conder.
The hotel lives on business trips. No sane person would stay here at their own expense.
Ohhh, I almost forgot, there is no cashless payment (!!!)
Hello everyone, inadequate prices - yes, a scoop - yes, no service - yes, you always owe the staff and not them to you - yes. But I give you rational advice, if you want to pay with a card, but they don't give you saying that payment is only in cash, don't believe it. Ask for an invoice from the accounting department, it will have a qr code and voila. Let's say no to black money and greed, I hope it helped

It's expensive, the amenities are at zero. one of the advantages is the location.
The convenient location of the hotel, but sky-high prices and at the same time the absolute indifference of the owners to the condition of their establishment; beautiful halls of Soviet times (original style and major repairs, apparently, were laid at the same time), but shabby rooms. Among the amenities: there are water coolers on each floor (which is convenient - you do not need to go far if the cooler nearest the room has run out of water) but, at the same time, not every room has a heater, but it is necessary, since the wind blows from the steppes of Kazakhstan from under the balcony door, which it blows through the room and it is not possible to walk in anything other than outdoor winter clothes (or spend the night in halls that are noticeably warmer than in the room?). The hotel administration, either because of indifference to its guests due to the almost complete monopoly on the business trip accommodation market, or due to the lack of talented and "handy" craftsmen, unfortunately, does not care about the convenience of its guests.

This building is very beautiful. Very much inside.
The rooms need renovation, there are no splits (and in the summer heat, this is simply necessary). And in general, you go into a hotel and you get into a bad place.
It's blowing from the windows. The mattresses are sagging - the springs bulge. Some furniture is broken. The shower stall is broken. San uzel is cramped.
There is a badly worn paving stone in front of the hotel entrance.
For that kind of money, we could have offered a better service.
Everything is old. The shower cabin is small, the air conditioner is ancient, it works like a tractor, but it does not cope. There is no kettle.
Terribly high price for accommodation, for less.money in July, I rested in the sanatorium Kiev, Alushta with treatment, meals at sea!!! Who sets such prices?
Unrealistically high prices designed to completely suck out the travel budget with the opposite "stardom" of the institution: plumbing, furniture as simple as possible, cheap linen and pillows, killer mattresses on Soviet springs, CRT TVs and window air conditioners so rattling and cracking that a dilemma arises, whether to suffocate from the heat or not to fall asleep from the noise. There are coolers on each floor, but the origin of the water in them is questionable. Among the advantages: location, relative cleanliness in the rooms and beautifully decorated lobbies on each floor with decent furniture.
P.S. this is the only hotel in the world out of dozens I have visited, where they charge an additional small amount of money for pre-booking rooms, as for a separate service!
The rooms at the sov dep hotel are full, the prices are simply sky-high : a one-room single room standard 3400 rubles per day, a room of 9-10 meters plus a bathroom in the room and a shower cabin, the staff still needs to be searched, just masterpieces in kovychki of course
The living conditions are terrible, the room is very cold, there is no elementary electric kettle in the room, as well as there is no cooler in the hallway.
A Soviet-style hotel. There was one time. I didn't like the room. Otherwise, I don't know. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. I can't tell you what he's like now. I liked it two or three years ago.
Well, it's sad and sad. Everything is forgotten , peeling , and inattentive . It's blowing in the Windows. The staff is wonderful and helpful. But it is better - there is an alternative, but more expensive.
It's like a return to the USSR, nostalgia...to hand over the keys, the numbers are tin....especially the air conditioners...at 40 overboard, it blows well...under my breath...the rest is also somewhere at the level of the late 60s .. And the prices are just modern... Be sure to take breakfast....rate it...the equipment has not really changed since it was built ;)

The price for this is not adequate at all. Although the quality of the bed linen has improved.
It's cold, it's draughty from the balcony, it's probably a great problem to do. experienced people recommend scotch. 2020, space. Got a cold, thanks. Well, cockroaches, fatter and bigger and slower than Siberian ones.
