The central beach should be the coolest, equipped and clean, but alas... sand has not been brought to the beach for a long time, there is a small dedicated and organized area for sports, there are locker rooms, several sunshades, two speakers, a couple of drinking fountains where children cannot drink (there is not enough force to press to turn on and it is difficult to reach). The toilet is a plastic cubicle- sooooo fetid and not very clean. There are a lot of roots sticking out and the beach itself is not very clean. There is a cafe at the beginning of the beach and a van with shawarma, fast food and drinks, where prices are overpriced.
There are no organized barbecue areas, as it is important to do now. There are no play areas for children... It's kind of like the central beach

It's a surprisingly wonderful location: I don't remember Sozh embankment like this even during my childhood 30 years ago.
Sandy beach, clean water, drinking water columns, foot washing columns, bio toilets, cafes with drinks.
An amazing number of people involved in sports and in general some kind of wonderful unity. Other people join the group of people playing ball, everything is somehow simple, humanly, family-like.
Everything is clean, pleasant, and comfortable.
If you are in Gomel, take time to visit the Central Beach.

There is a large beach along the Sozh River, a motor ship runs along the river, it offers a beautiful view of the coastal zone. I recommend to visit, opposite the beach there is an embankment where you can walk, or climb to the top and visit the palace)

Clean beach, good fine sand. On one side of the bridge, part is hidden under trees, there are rental shops and snack bars. On the other side there is a quiet side -just a sandy beach bordered by grass, without fuss and noise.

We liked that there is a pedestrian path leading directly to the beach and you can even drive in by car. There is a place to play volleyball. The sand is white, there are many places, there is a place to eat. A good place to relax!

I envy the residents of Gomel. Awesome!!! Why do people go to the sea in the summer??? Clear. The shade of huge trees and there is no need to fight for a place in the shade, as somewhere in Gelendzhik. As always, there is a minus. The trees are entirely poplars and willows. A great place to relax with the whole family. Over the past two years, it has been significantly improved: clean sand was brought to the beach, the paths were paved with tiles, a playground with exercise equipment, basketball and volleyball courts were equipped. In addition, there is a seasonal kiosk on wheels, and a cafe has been built nearby and catamaran rentals have been opened.

The beach is equipped with everything you need, drinking fountains, playgrounds, footwashers, changing rooms. The terrible smell from the toilets is staring at the whole beach. Most of the coastline is in bloom, water lilies and mud. Dirty sand, debris, branches, leaves, fragments of shells. They pierced all the legs to the wounds!

there is little convenience and catering, there is no entertainment except for a volleyball net and a couple of bars, recently a cafe with sun beds was opened, but it has a view... the toilet is bio horror, there is no shower either, there is a foot pump, horses jump out of the bushes...

A picturesque and passable place with on-duty divers, there is only a lack of weeding the sand of both the beach and the coastal zone, at least the first 500 m from the descent from the bridge. There is still not enough working shawarma with food for the youngest (baked potatoes would be in the theme). Parking is also not organized for those who arrived by car. Those parking spaces that exist are clearly not adapted for these purposes.
