A wonderful store in terms of location, equipment, and interiors. The only drawback in this sense is a steep staircase to the trading floor: not everyone can do it. Is it really impossible to install an escalator in such a visited shopping facility?
But the main and easily removable puncture is the people who work in the trading floor. I understand that the product distributor is not required to answer questions, but there are no others who can be asked these questions in the hall. Today, for example, I asked where the Food & Go products that were placed in a separate refrigerator had gone. Today it turned out to be empty. The girl explained without a shadow of a doubt that they were all sold, and it was only by chance that I found them in the culinary department. Another time, when I asked about Lyakhovichi curds, the lady who was laying out the goods in the dairy department answered me rudely and indignantly: "We don't sell their goods!" Whereas they are almost always on delivery, and why the girl is outraged, I do not understand.
I have no complaints about the people at the self-service checkout. They are polite and will help if necessary.
A legendary place for Minsk residents. The best store in the 80s and early 90s. Today, on the 1st floor you can have a quick and tasty snack, drink tea, coffee or draft beer. And of course, to buy a very delicious, for my taste, "Dream" cake, which is made only here!
The Tsentralny supermarket in Minsk is a place with a unique atmosphere that seems to transport visitors to the past. The first thing that catches your eye is the historic building with exquisite stucco and bas—reliefs on the ground floor. The spirit of old Minsk is felt here: every detail of the interior keeps its own history.
The assortment pleases with its diversity. I would especially like to mention the confectionery department: the cakes and the famous cake "Dream" really justify their name. The legendary Oscar coffee is perfect for it. For those who prefer stronger drinks, they offer a wide selection of spirits, including draft beer.
The supermarket audience is a separate reason for observation. You can meet a variety of people here: from workers and students to representatives of the creative intelligentsia. It is a place where different worlds and social strata intersect, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere.
Central is more than just a store. This is a cultural and gastronomic corner that is worth visiting for anyone who wants to feel the real spirit of Minsk.
