Khinkalis are good in general, but it was much better some years ago. Probably they changed their cook. It’s still good, but not exceptional as it was before.
We decided to have dinner here on 03/11/25.
First of all, the food is terribly not tasty, almost all the dishes.
Borscht - they threw meat on the bones, and it's inconvenient to eat, and there's almost no meat, just one bone.
Kerus (potatoes with meat) - it feels like it was cooked a week ago and just warmed up.
Napoleon - no comment, as if they found the oldest dough in the city and cooked this masterpiece. Order if you have strong teeth, you will have to chew this Napoleon.
The only thing I have no complaints about is khinkali.
Of course, the service is also questionable.
I noticed that when the service is "sewn" into the receipt in the form of a fix of 10% of your order, the waiters often didn't give a damn about you.
What was it expressed in:
- they brought me both borscht and hot food at the same time. The waiter doesn't care if something gets cold.
- the extra plates were taken away every six months, I had to throw the dirty dishes at the next table myself so that everything would fit on my table (a company of four people).
- when the bill was brought out, we complained about the quality of the dishes, to which they replied, "we cook like this."
They didn't even try to smooth it over or apologize.
To sum up, if you want to have a delicious meal or are looking for good service, don't come here.
Nice place.
Fast service.
The most delicious khinkali!!!
Just drop your head)
The only question is, why do all your waiters have a completely unfriendly expression on their faces?
At first, I was even a little nervous that they didn't like us right away.
And then I look - but no.
Everything is fine.
They have such faces for all visitors))
It wasn't fatal, of course, but the positive attitude was still a little knocked down.
But
if we come to Tsakhkadzor again, I will come back here for the khinkals.
Maybe by that time the waiters will have learned at least not to frown))
Disgusting food and service. The food was borscht, a dish of potatoes, beef and peas (Armenian national). and also dessert Napoleon.
They put a bare bone in the borscht without meat at all.
The beef and potato dish was made from old stale potatoes.
And Napoleon is something altogether, the cream is disgusting, it's all butter, and the dough is not fresh, it's impossible to eat.
When paying the employees, we informed them about the quality of the above-listed dishes, for which there was no apology or any compensation.
The service is also 0 out of 10. The whole table was covered with dirty plates, although there was only our table and another one in the hall, and the waiters just stood there and watched.
I came here because it was the closest place from my starting point.
The restaurant is very spacious, there are many different seating options.
Awesome khinkali, both regular and fried. Delicious soft coffee.
There is a fenced live tree in the center, and this is very responsive to me, as I love the combination of nature and architecture.
Definitely need to come here
Khinkali fried!!! 😋
Homemade wine - wow.
It's incredibly tasty and the staff are great fellows: the place will be inflated, they will tell you everything at a fine, they will serve you well. Clean and cozy. The tree grows in the center of the restaurant!!!! ))) In our opinion, it is the best place in Tsakhkadzor.
The interior is beautiful, the portions are large, and the food is generally delicious.
Among the disadvantages: even more than in places in the vicinity. And very loud music, which they flatly refused to make even a little quieter.
I came to rest from Moscow. And I decided to come here.Very fast and courteous service. Amazingly delicious fried khinkali with egg and tarragon (tarragon), the filling is full, and there is a lot of cheese with suluguni cheese.Caesar salad for lunch. And their lemonade with basil and pomegranate!Well done 👍
Delicious. I also ate fried khinkali. But it's a bit expensive, even for Tsakhkadzor. It seemed to me that this was the most expensive establishment in the city.
Khinkali is very good. But the atmosphere of the place is like a one-time thing. In winter, it is better not to sit on the veranda. The heaters make it look more like a steam room.
The restaurant is known to us from Yerevan, but it was the first time we were in the Tsakhkadzor branch. There are road repairs going on outside, so the large and pretty veranda, unfortunately, is not very suitable for dining yet. Inside there is a pleasant interior, large tables and very polite and friendly staff.
The portions are large, the prices are quite average, but the khinkali themselves (and if they are listed in the name of the institution, how can you not try them?) a little pumped up. As if there could be more fillings in them, and the broth is a little more interesting flavored with herbs and seasonings.
Otherwise, I liked everything.
It's a great place.
Very tasty khinkali, there are also fried ones.
Delicious homemade morse.
Delightful at home. Well, in general, the restaurant is not big, but it is nice
Very tasty! My favorite dish is baked potatoes with meat, delicious. Great natural compotes, especially from dogwood. I don't really like the local eclair, very hearty, custard cream. But otherwise everything is great, Khinkali is better than Georgian
Very tasty food, khinkali, we ate everything - just super! Other dishes were also ordered and we liked everything very much. They cook qualitatively and deliciously, they approach each dish with a soul and the portions are large.
We visited this khinkalnaya based on the rating. I liked almost everything, the khinkali was wonderful, the shoulder of mutton was not impressed, the usual stew, not bad dry local wine and draft beer. The price tag is too high. The next day we also went there. We ordered a lamb kebab and khinkali. The kebab was served without vegetables and without sauce. The meat itself was over-dried and over-salted, just bones. Khinkali is overcooked, there is a minimum of meat.We think there was a bad change of chefs.
They often confuse who gets what order. It happened that they forgot to bring something from the order. But the food is delicious, satisfying and a lot.
There is a takeaway, there is no delivery.
Staff with sour faces. I ordered a lamb kebab, delicious BUT! They just brought a skewer on an empty plate, no onions, no greens, no sauce, nothing at all. It's terrible. My husband has his own barbecue, puts the meat on the pita bread, sprinkles with onion and parsley and gives the sauce👍🏻
We went down from the cable car and saw an advertisement for this place. We went for the sake of khinkali, which turned out to be very tasty! There are also many variations of khinkali to choose from: with different meat and cheese, I tried fried khinkali with cheese for the first time, it was very tasty! In other places, fried khinkali is usually meat. I also really liked the service) A pleasant courteous waiter, I will recommend it to my friends)
By the way, everything was fine with the bill, everything was clear) otherwise many people write that there are errors in the receipt, fortunately we did not encounter this.
Khinkali is just a bomb! The kitchen is excellent, the service is at a high level, the staff is friendly (the waiter even provided a power bank to charge the phone), the interior is cool. There is a terrace. I really liked it!
Clean, tasty, cozy. It is a popular place because it is located in the very center. Khinkali is delicious. There are fried and boiled ones. There is khinkali with cheese. There is an open veranda.
Great restaurant. There were in August 2023, hashlama from oxtails, tjvjik, grilled vegetables. There is an Eclair on the menu among the desserts - friends, it is the size of a cake. Be careful when ordering. Everything is very tasty and atmospheric.
Very tasty! We tried salads, hot dishes, and khinkali. The portions are simply huge. (There are small disadvantages- everything is very thin, dumplings are not suitable for children to eat - there is a lot of pepper, Caesar salad is not Caesar at all)
Khinkali is very tasty, the children ate, although some of the children may be a little tired. The dumplings are also delicious, big.
I advise you to visit)
Very tasty. I especially liked khinkali with meat and tarragon. The dough is tender, the minced meat is exactly what it should be and of course the broth inside. And fried.
The service is very cool. The interior is beautiful.
The prices are affordable. I advise everyone.
We lived next to the institution. we came to eat and ordered with us, everything is delicious. we called the restaurant from the cable car, made an order, everything was prepared for us and upon arrival they handed us packed dishes, excellent service.
It should be borne in mind: it often happens that there are no empty seats.
Great food! But you have to wait quite a long time. Especially fried khinkali for a long time. It's good that I like boiled ones more. However, I recommend everyone to visit this place - you will not regret it.
Expensive, very expensive. Satisfying. But not exactly delicious. We ordered an invoice, forgot about the discount for hotel accommodation, we gave up on it. Then they said that we would pay with a card, and they forgot about us for about 15 minutes until we got up and started getting ready to leave.
