We have been vacationing here for several years in a row. The proximity to the sea is about 50 m. The presence of eucalyptus trees on the territory. The food is quite reasonable, like in a pioneer camp. Breakfast is 2 courses and tea. Lunch is soup, second course and compote, dinner is hot and pastries are fresh. In general, it is quite enough for a vacation at sea. And the price is humane. In the evening, you can sit in a cafe here or go somewhere within walking distance there are cafes and restaurants. Numbers for any wallet. There are cheaper ones, there are more expensive ones. Many vacationers have been coming for years.

We rested from 24-31.08.2024, on the whole we are satisfied, for a relaxing family holiday the most important thing, a very big plus is of course the sea, a 2-minute walk away and immediately a minus, a private beach, and all the equipment is paid, the beach is wide, spacious. According to nutrition: they cook delicious, but the portions are small, breakfast and lunch are hearty, but dinner is a little meager, there were not enough vegetables and the biggest minus is that there are NO fruits at all and this is strange, Abkhazia is a country of fruits, but they are not given!!!!! By number: we have never cleaned or changed towels in a week. Staff: everyone is friendly and welcoming! The place is quiet, the landscape is very beautiful, but the territory is not particularly cleaned, there is a lot of bark from trees and everything is in dry needles. There is a bar on site, but everything is quiet at 23:00, which was good, since we came to stay in silence.

A great place to relax!
Not far from the border, a quiet village, the first line from the sea, a beautiful green area with cypresses and eucalyptus, flowers all around! The sea is clean from 2 minutes away from the room! There are few people on the beach. They complain about the pebble beach, so it is in almost all of Abkhazia. Special shoes solve the problem quickly, they are sold nearby in the store. The food is varied, the cafe has the best boat in my life (khachapuri)
The rooms are clean, cleaned every day.
The staff is polite, you can ask for an early meal to go on an excursion.
The feedback from the hotel is only positive!

Everything is at a decent level.
The sea is 2 minutes from the farthest building. The beach is clean.

You have to wait a long time for the food vendors to serve all the tables. (Brownian motion). There are a lot of tables. You can see how the cook personally pours and puts food in the dishes at the distribution - that's why they bring everything hot, not cold.
The only thing I didn't like (and not only me, but also the people on the beach were outraged) This is what they almost run over their heads on jet skis, show their prowess in order to lure customers.

We arrived yesterday. We are very happy with our vacation. The second time we rested in the Era park-hotel. This year the beach is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and cot beds (all for a fee, but the prices are reasonable). The sea is warm and clean. Meals are served 3 times a day. The dining room was always clean and the air conditioner was working. They cooked fine, but the portions are too small for men. Fresh pastries every day for dinner. The only disadvantage is the dish for dinner "Chakhokhbili" (they gave it 2 times in 10 days), after which everyone went to eat in neighboring cafes. Last year, in June 2023, the food was better. Thanks to the waitress Maya for the good service. We gratefully remember Anya, the friendly waitress of the on-site bar. We were satisfied with the accommodation (building 3). Room cleaning: daily garbage collection, wet cleaning on demand or once every 7 days. This year, a new building No. 4 with good rooms appeared on the territory. Thank you to the Era staff for their friendliness and kindness. Special thanks to Alla Ilyinichna and the watchman for arranging the transfer.

Ambiguous: very beautiful and clean territory, good food 👍(portions are huge, the food is delicious, salads were given every day, there were often pastries in the form of buns. But the soup surprised: that chicken, that meat, that fish were of the same taste🤨). From the rooms to the sea is 1.5 minutes, the beach is large pebbles, it is necessary to wear shoes, because it is impossible to walk on stones!
The rooms have new furniture, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV.
For some reason, the remote control in our room was from another TV, they reported this at the reception, 3 days later they brought a new remote control, which also did not fit the TV. The air conditioner works very strangely: it warms, regardless of the set mode and temperature 🤓! The refrigerator, apparently, with the function of a microwave: it really warmed the products, and did not cool down, even if the freezing mode was set. Linen was changed on demand for a fee. Our room was cleaned only once, although other rooms were cleaned periodically.
Electricity was regularly cut off - this is right the biggest and fattest minus, because the administration could take care of customers and put a generator!!! As well as the lack of drinking water on the territory is also a huge disadvantage! The cafe on the territory is full of trash: the food is disgusting, the tables are dirty, as are the cutlery, the price tag is atomic, the service is terrible - the garbage is complete!
In general, if it is stated that there is a refrigerator, air conditioning and other benefits of civilization, then they should work! As stated on the website, the deck chairs included in the price of the voucher should be free, and not for 200 rubles!
I understand that if the recreation center is positioned 1 *, then there is nothing to demand, then there is no need to paint about all the benefits present in the rooms if they do not work properly! I think that the recreation center is 3 *, no less!

Having rested at the Era recreation center from 06/23/24 to 07/03/24. The impressions were twofold. Large cozy rooms, a large green area, but these cozy rooms are practically not cleaned (1 time every three days). The food also leaves much to be desired. Despite the summer season, there is a complete lack of vegetables. The portions are small and monotonous, meat is practically absent from meat dishes. I can't recommend my friends to relax here.

Hello. We rested at the Era base. We rented three houses, I will say specifically for 31 houses. On the first day of settlement, a bunch of ants formed on the ceiling, okay, they came anointed with something, ants crawl on the bed, on the table, in the groceries.the houses are cold, but they give a heater, it is already included in the price, the houses are small, the price is 9t. The connection is bad, the Wi-Fi barely loads, and the next day it was completely turned off, the TV weighs in the house, they couldn't turn on the channel for two days, they didn't look for it, there is no Internet connection, which is not available either. on the third day, they didn't even turn it on. We got into the rains, no one washed the porch for three days, not even with a broom. The kitchen is not tasty, the territory is overgrown with grass, some houses simply cannot be reached. There is a small pool, but it was constantly cold, since the base is in the shade, and there is no sun here. In short, I do not recommend the Era recreation center, we will not return here anymore.

Like it. Clean, free beach, friendly staff, delicious food like from kindergarten according to Soviet gost (the food was the same for us and the child against the background of acclimatization), they cook very tasty in a local cafe, they also sell "their" wine, delicious and not powdered, as everywhere in Abkhazia, clean territory, houses with facilities, condors, excursions can be taken directly from the camp site.

The children gave me vouchers for my anniversary. We rested at the beginning of September with our grandson. We were very satisfied. We lived in a separate house next to the dining room. The house has a refrigerator, air conditioning, large TV, bathroom, hot water around the clock. They were fed like in a boarding house. Everything is very tasty. The staff is good-natured and responsive to any requests and assistance. The sea is nearby. There is a playground. There is a disco in the evenings. There is a large veranda where you can relax with a child and a large company, eat barbecue, buy ice cream. We were very satisfied. Thanks to all the staff for the rest provided.

It's not far from the border.
The food is very poor and monotonous. Sometimes it was generally raw (undercooked potatoes in soup or raw rice) . We've all had rotovirus. When the electricity was turned off in the morning, we were left without breakfast at all !!!
The rooms were cleaned after reminders and requests.
There was a bar on the territory - the music thundered there until twelve, and sometimes until two in the morning.
It was the worst vacation in Abkhazia!!!

About the campsite "Era" can be said briefly. CHEAP AND ANGRY, but I'll try to be as objective as possible. The base is located relatively conveniently, a couple of kilometers from the border crossing. The territory of the base is a small area of a previously located camp site or sanatorium of the Soviet period fifty meters from the sea with its own beach (for a fee you can lie on a sunbed), and in some places there is a Soviet style. Cypresses, palm trees and other exotic plants are quite comfortably located on the territory, and all the trees are trimmed. Accommodation is organized in small wooden bungalows, and in buildings made of stone or concrete, houses of the USSR period with amenities somewhere at the bottom of the first floor, as well as a two-storey building with rooms a la three stars (conditionally of course). We stayed in the last type of room. The room on the second floor is nice, comfortable enough, spacious, with sea views, but the trouble is that it is not well maintained. The rooms were not cleaned regularly, and not with high quality (the cleaner will slightly miss the floor in the middle with a rag and that's it), bed linen and towels have not been changed in ten days. The staff is not particularly friendly, take your time. Kitchen: you don't even know where to start here - you can definitely say you won't stay hungry for sure! They were fed the same thing day after day. In the morning it's not bad - porridge, semolina, oatmeal, rice once. Lunch is the same soup day after day (light vegetable lean) for the second - dry buckwheat or rice with dry chicken, compote for the third and an unchanged cabbage salad. Dinner was also not pampered with delicacies. Mashed potatoes with chicken, a couple of times with pork stew, less often vegetable stew. To sum up: if you are not spoiled by the service, you are not ready to pay 200 kilorubles for Antalya and you are not confused by the difficulties with constant power outages, the lack of any entertainment nearby, then you will like it here. I would like to note the following for myself, that most likely I will not return here....Enjoy your stay!

Food without a choice, what is cooked is what everyone eats. It would be possible to cook at least a couple of dishes! Maintenance-change of towels and bed linen once a week, generally fine. The staff is fine with that, everyone is polite and ready to help. The rooms are nice, clean, and each has air conditioning. We have been vacationing since July 30, 2023. The tour operator positioned this place as a park hotel, in fact a recreation center of Soviet times. The room is so-so with a disgusting smell, panoramic windows into the bushes. The curtains are transparent. If there is light in the room, you can see everything from the street. It's crazy. The room was NOT cleaned in 10 days, only the garbage was taken out. The food is disgusting. We rarely went to the dining room. There are no vegetables and fruits at all. The food is tasteless. Tea, if you can call it that, is disgusting. The request to give a table knife caused confusion. The dining room is full of flies, stuffy. Attempts to clarify the situation caused rudeness on the part of the staff. The service is at the highest level. It is stated that there is a private beach, in fact, anyone walks. The caretaker at the beach is only interested in cramming umbrellas and sun beds at fabulous prices. I put a star for the green area and the sea.

If you choose economy in the Era, then think very carefully!!!We were settled in a "cottage"4.To be honest, we were shocked.I thought there was no such Soviet anywhere else!The smell of dampness is terrible, moreover, we did not close the windows, we thought in vain that it would wear off at least a little.There are no mosquito nets, mosquitoes have been biting all night.There was no air conditioning.There was a fan that was screeching loudly!The Internet is only normal near the bar and dining room.And also, there was a mouse in our room!I found her eating sweets in the nightstand!In the dining room, they fed without choice, but at home, the portions were large, without frills.The sea is nearby, this is a good plus!But there is no desire to stop here anymore.

Excellent base, very beautiful well-groomed territory, very close to the sea, the first line.the rooms are different, there are new ones where the amenities are in the room, there are very old houses from Soviet times, you know, there are facilities for several rooms and everything in the rooms is ancient. The food is comprehensive, my husband and I liked it, we didn't want to go anywhere, we didn't buy anything except fruits, you can order barbecue, hookah, wine in abundance on the territory of the bar for the evening. The staff is very polite, the waitresses are very nice and attentive. The proximity of the sea conquers, if you open the window you can hear the surf. There are a variety of excursions, a large selection right on site, and the prices are inexpensive. We went on a burning all-inclusive 46t tour for two with a flight for 11 nights, norm, for this money. We had a good rest, my husband didn't even want to go to Sochi.well, of course, the accommodation is not 5 stars, everything is simple as it was in the USSR before, the main sea is clean and very close.

The most terrible place I've been to in Abkhazia in 9 years of traveling. They took a room for 12 days, but ran away after 6 days. The money was partially returned with a scandal. Everything could be tolerated, but not insects in the bed, well, more on that later. We have been vacationing since July 28, 2023. I put one star only for the dining room, there are no complaints about them, well, not counting the disgusting tea, well, these are small things. I'll start with a good one, the territory is green and beautiful (but the management of this database has nothing to do with this, since these trees were inherited from the USSR), benches and a playground were also inherited, which have not been touched since those times. I am attaching a photo. You will hardly find Wi-Fi, although it is stated that it is there. Beach equipment is declared as free, in fact sun beds 150 ru, umbrellas 300 ru, bungalows 1200 ru. The territory is declared as closed from outsiders, in fact a courtyard. The store in the vicinity is very modest, if you need to go to the center to buy something. We rented an economy class room, there were no others available for our dates. This is a wooden cottage that is not being repaired, but apparently they are just waiting for them to collapse. I am attaching a photo. The cottage has 3 rooms on the 1st floor and several on the second. There are 2 toilets and 1 shower per cottage. Not only those who live there went to the toilet in our cottage, but also all the employees of this base. There is 1 refrigerator in the hall, but it needs to be propped up with an armchair otherwise it will not close. There is practically no light in the room, you need to walk with a flashlight. 1 outlet is at a level of 1.5 meters from the floor and you do not know what to do with this outlet, turn on the phone to charge, or maskitol, so that mosquitoes do not devour you, or a fan, so that you do not die from the stuffiness. It's up to you to choose.... There are no masks. The furniture is all terrible, springs stick out of the mattress (to which the administration offered me to turn the mattress over). It would be possible to put up with it, spend the whole day on the beach and come to the room only to sleep, BUT!!!!!!! You will not be able to sleep, because insects will eat you in bed ...... The last 2 nights I spent with my child outside on a chair, the children and I are all bitten. We were all waiting for the administrator to come check my words. She came 3 days later, after I had already started to make a fuss. Naturally, they had nothing to do with it, they bit us somewhere else, according to her, for example in the grass.... In general, I do not advise anyone to have such a "rest" as we had in this place. The stated price, even for economy, is too high, 1600 rubles per day per person. We have moved to a wonderful place with all the amenities and are finally relaxing.

We rested at this base in September 2021 for a week. I really liked the location. Close to the border, the base itself is right on the sea, it's lovely. The sea was calm, clear and very, very warm. I didn't want to get out of the water. The food at the recreation center is very modest, but we considered it a plus for ourselves. We didn't buy any more food, just some fruit and water. We did not go on excursions, although there is an opportunity to buy them in several directions on and off the territory. But we visited Gagra on our own, on the White Rocks. We met a local taxi driver and he drove us for little money, waited for two or three hours for free. We lived in a house with a separate entrance. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, two beds, bedside tables, shower, toilet. It's very simple, but very neat. There is a small area in front of the entrance, hemp benches, a rope for drying clothes is stretched. The territory of the recreation center is well maintained. But the most beautiful thing is the smell of eucalyptus trees. I never knew that there was such a wonderful fragrance from these trees that it could spread from a distance. The evening is generally a pleasure. We didn't talk much to the staff, but all the women in the dining room were friendly. Athena, a good woman, brought us food. The peculiarity of the second-hand Era is that a table is fixed for everyone during rest, which is very convenient, you do not need to look for a free place. And the waitresses carry the food. We liked it. We were very satisfied with the rest. If it weren't for our principle not to go to the same place, no matter how much you like it, we would love to rest again on the used Era.

In general, it's not bad. It stands on the seashore. There are many different options for settling in. From outright homeless, to almost elite accommodation. The rooms are renovated. Everything is clean. There is no cleaning as such. Only the garbage is taken out. The food is modest. Comprehensive. In principle, we ate enough and cooked well, mostly. There were shoals. Not without that. But I didn't go hungry. The territory is gorgeous. Although a lot has remained since the Soviet era, this does not reduce its quality. The beach is large pebbles, sun beds are paid. The entrance to the sea is decent. There are no large stones. You can catch Russian providers on the beach. However, you need to switch manually in the settings. Wi-Fi Internet catches everywhere except at home. The signal is stable and of high quality. Video communication and online movies are closer to the reception without any problems at all.

We had a rest at the Era recreation center in July 2022.
We arrived at 12 o'clock, settled in at 14, immediately put on food.
We lived in the house of "Milan". Room for 2 people. Wi-Fi is your own, steady.
The facilities are wonderful: on the spacious veranda of each room there is a refrigerator, a kettle, cups, a plate, a clothes dryer. There is an ironing board with an iron. There is a large table with chairs. It's great to drink coffee in the morning and listen to the sea.
The room has a large double bed, two bedside tables, a hanger, a TV. The bathroom with shower is clean, the water does not run out))
The room is cleaned daily. Linen and towels are changed every 5 days.
It is very convenient that the building is located at the end of the base, outsiders do not go.
The food in the Era is simple, you can say monotonous, but delicious. The portions are large, we even skipped meals over time, because we didn't have time to get hungry. Buckwheat, mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, salads for lunch, casseroles, omelettes, buns. Sooooo delicious soups.
The territory of the base is cozy. Lots of greenery, tennis tables, Playground, football field, cafe.
The beach is constantly being cleaned by employees. We walked to the center along the coast, our beach is the most well-groomed, the best 😊
In general, the holiday experience is wonderful! A quiet, family-friendly, cozy vacation.
The owners are great fellows! They are considering the development of the territory.
We will definitely come again ❤

Three meals a day, we ate enough, but I think it's not enough for men, But!!! The price is low for a vacation at this base, so it is quite possible to have a snack in the canteens, or even on the territory of the Era there is a kebab shop where you can order delicious meat))
The territory is clean, surrounded by greenery, the staff is responsive. Thank them very much for their patience, several times I saw eternally dissatisfied, screaming grannies who paid for an economy room, but demanded a room with amenities upon check-in, I am ashamed of such guests.
There is a bus stop nearby, you can get to the market, we also went to Gagra.
In general, we really liked everything!
There is no luxury, if you need luxury, then such hotels are also nearby, but the price will be 3-4 times more expensive.

All faucets are broken, handles fall out, scroll, when the shower was turned on, boiling water splashed from the holes! There is no food. How can you serve the same soup for lunch for 10 days! No variety, the same dishes! Without vegetables and fruits! As long as the vacationers don't starve! The only positive thing is the territory with eucalyptus trees, pines , cypresses and what is on the seashore. The staff is very good! I will never go to this hotel again. I do not recommend it.

A good place for a family vacation. Of the minuses: music from the cafe until about midnight, although you get used to it over time, there is no room cleaning (garbage is really taken out daily).
Of the pros: the sea is behind the gate and it can be seen from the balcony, a spacious beach, tasty and hearty food in the dining room (we had enough of all adult men and small children), spacious a walking area, a small playground, gazebos and squirrels.

We rested in early September 2021 in a separate house for 3600 per day . Behind us (as it turned out later) was a drain pit, from which a terrible stench was coming. There was no reaction to our complaint about the smell . The boorish attitude of the administration at check-in. No interest in tourists. Not a rest, but some kind of test. Food is a separate song . I've never eaten worse food anywhere. It's so meager and tasteless. If you count, then such a lunch in any of the most disgusting eateries costs no more than 100 rubles. The men were hungry. And the worst thing is on the second day they got sick with rotovirus (2 days vomiting, diarrhea all vacation). The locals themselves say that the Era is the worst thing you have chosen. Don't believe the good reviews, don't spoil your vacation!!!

I was here in August 2020 with my family and friends. We lived in newly built rooms. Clean, spacious veranda. Room service is "Soviet-style". Sometimes there is no kettle, then there is toilet paper. The canteen is fed like in a pioneer camp in the 70s. Esli is nostalgic for those times, welcome here.

We had a rest in July 2022. A huge minus is monotonous and tasteless food.Of course, the sea is nearby, but a vacation is not only the sea and the sun, it is also a normal meal.
