05.02.23 We visited the restaurant "at Uncle Max's" in Baku, Deniz Mall shopping center. An unpleasant situation happened to us there, which greatly spoiled our mood and impression of the restaurant. When we brought the child to the nursery, there were two men sitting at the children's tables, similar to ordinary visitors. After some time, we saw that one of the men was giving the child paints and a small plaster figure, the men did not talk to us and we did not know who they were until the last. Later, our daughter came up to us and said that her uncles told her to take 10 manats from her parents to pick up this figurine (a similar one in a store for creativity costs 1 manat). We called the manager to sort out the situation, for what reason money is being demanded from us in the children's room of the restaurant after the fact (before that, we had not met this in any of the restaurants, REAL animators work in the Vasilchuk Teahouse and in the Mari-Vanna, and not gloomy men of unknown origin and are really interesting with children, however no one suddenly demands money there).
The manager said to our claim, "I won't figure out which of you is right, just next time if you come to a restaurant, then immediately pay the animator." Apparently, as a punishment, we were not brought the set promised to the child (which is given when ordering from 50 manats, and we ordered for 85). When we asked the waiter, he was very surprised that the set was not brought, then he came back and said that we would not get the set for some unclear reasons. The child was waiting for him, because there is a beautiful mug for a drink.
As a result: a complete frustration for our money. If you take money for the work of animators with children, then hire real specialists, and not uncles on acquaintance, who sit silently at the table with a stone face. I have very negative impressions from visiting this place and I will not advise anyone.
The food was all delicious, the waiter was wonderful. Big questions for the manager and the "animators".
