We went to Abkhazia and chose this place to relax. They didn't regret it at all.
We were in New Athos for the first time.
Very good-natured, creative hosts Dmitry and Elena, as well as their assistant Farida. You can stop by at any time and receive guests at night, so do not wait for the morning if you arrive in New Athos at night. Dmitry is engaged in qigong joined him. It's great to breathe and practice a full-day charge by the sea. There is a hydrogen sulfide source nearby. We walked every day on foot. At the spring, you lie in a large bathroom and go to smear mud. It is very healthy and the skin has become velvety and delicate. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart 👌 there are 2 guest houses and rooms on the territory. The house smells pleasantly of wood and has everything you need (kitchen, bathroom, shower, air conditioning, furniture) clean and cozy. A green area where oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, palm trees, flowers, etc. grow.
The sea is 5 minutes away. A clean semi-deserted beach. Ideal for relaxation. There is a shop and various cafes nearby.
I love karaoke. If someone also comes in, you can go to the Green Terrace restaurant in 3 minutes by taxi on weekends you can sing there on other days just sit on the terrace with a view of the sea or inside the restaurant.
Minibuses go to New Athos, you just need to get out on the road (highway) and wave your hand when a minibus van passes. 7 minutes drive.
We went on excursions with Arthur. We really liked it. A good person is calm, reliable, punctual.
The sea is clear. There is a boat on the shore 🛥️ the guys take them to the open sea to swim and if they are lucky enough to see dolphins , the children were delighted 😊

The company had a rest at the end of July for 12 people, 6 adults and 6 children. The accommodation was booked in February. Dmitry and Elena organized a transfer from Adler railway station. A quiet and cozy place. The cabins have everything you need for a comfortable stay.It's 5 minutes to the sea, and it's with small children. There are practically no people on the beach. If you want to have a good rest, then this is the most necessary place for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Dmitry and Elena for a GREAT VACATION! If we go on vacation, it will be only to Dmitry and Elena.

The clean rooms have everything you need (bathroom, shower, air conditioning, furniture). Oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, bananas, flowers, etc. grow on the green territory.
The sea is 5 minutes away. A clean semi-deserted beach. There is a shop and various cafes nearby. New Athos is 8 kilometers away.

We rested with Elena and Dmitry from 6.09 to 14.09. We rented a separate house with a kitchen. Everything is clean, calm, the hosts are very hospitable and considerate.
The spring is 20 minutes away at a calm pace, and the beach is 5 minutes away. There is a shop and a cafe nearby. A great family, quiet vacation.

We were in Abkhazia for the first time and stayed with the Komarovs, simple, sincere people. We liked everything very much, and most importantly, the sea is very close. There are cafes nearby, everything is delicious there. We went on excursions ourselves, to Rizza, to pischery, waterfalls. The hydrogen sulfide source was used. We were from September 1 to September 8, the weather did not disappoint. In general, everything is hilariously wonderful.

I read people's reviews (I'm very glad that they were lucky to have a good rest, we didn't) and still decided to write my impressions! We booked a room with a mini-kitchen for 6 nights at the Comfort+ rate. We chose for a long time, as a result, we were led by reviews and beautiful pictures, well, also that the owners moved from Russia. The booking was easy, Dmitry arranged a transfer for us from Krasnaya Polyana. Upon arrival, I was disappointed:
- the mini kitchen is a microwave and a kettle, there is no hob;
- do not turn on the air conditioner, because it has not been serviced apparently since installation, and there is a whole layer of dirt and dust there;
- there is a musty smell in the room and it is not possible to stay there without ventilation, but there is no way to ventilate, because there are no nets on the windows, and there are mosquitoes;
- of the four beds, only one bed is suitable for sleeping, the other has a sold mattress, and the sofa is broken and exudes an unpleasant smell;
- a playground with uncut grass, and since it is uneven, the child may stumble in the game, because he does not see where he is stepping.
In general, we had to move out, as they could not eliminate the shortcomings or provide us with another room. Of the six paid days, we lived for one, and for four we got our money back.

We were pleased to learn that there are such kind and hospitable hosts and we hope to return here again to enjoy the local beauty of the sea coast and the friendly atmosphere created by the Komarov family!

We were in Abkhazia for the first time. We chose housing from the Komarov family (very nice people), we did not regret it. Clean housing at an affordable price. We were looking for a quiet place so that there would be fewer people and we found it. In the evenings we sat on the veranda and enjoyed the silence and conversations. It is a 5-minute walk to the sea. There is also a cafe and a shop nearby. We will definitely return to this place.

Good day to everyone who likes to travel and relax on the Black Sea coast, and in particular in the Land of the Soul, in sunny Abkhazia!
In 2023, my wife and I decided to take a vacation in September and go on vacation to this fabulous place.
Of course, we have been thinking for a long time, looking for where it is best for us to stay for a rest, in which corner of Abkhazia we will be comfortable to rest.
My wife and I are already middle-aged people and it was important to us where we would find a shelter to rest for 17 days. We needed a quiet holiday, calm from the hustle and bustle of the city with clean air, clean sea, without noise and unnecessary problems. After viewing various comments on this topic, our choice settled on the village of Primorsky in Abkhazia, on the very shore of the sea. This village is located to the east of the district center of Gudauta in a flat area on the Black Sea coast, and from the west it adjoins the city of New Athos. On the territory where the village of Primorsky is located, there is a thermal hydrogen sulfide spring.
We had a rest from September 1 to September 17, 2023 with wonderful people, the Komarov family of Dmitry and Elena. We chose their guest house for two reasons. Firstly, from their house, where we were located, it was only 5 minutes to walk to the sea at a quiet pace. Secondly, the hydrogen sulfide source was also not so far from home.
For all the time that we rested with Dmitry and Elena, we have never regretted our choice. Our room was with all amenities, clean, cozy. There was its own veranda, where there were chairs and a table.
The territory of the guest house is landscaped by caring owners. There is a green area with a barbecue, a tangerine palm garden, a Playground and Parking for cars. There is also a kitchen, which is important for those who want to cook their own food. The territory is under video surveillance.
The hospitable hosts Dmitry and Elena were always ready to help us with any questions. Interesting evenings were held, where all the guests gathered.
I am happy to recommend this place to people who appreciate nature and quiet rest.

We rested from 06/16/2023 to 06/29/2023. Dmitry and Elena Komarov have a company of 6 adults and 3 children. Very good-natured Russian hosts with creative potential, listened to classical music with a synthesizer on their son's birthday, on the birthday of 2 girls they had a barbecue party (fortunately there is a barbecue and a green area on the territory), a swing for children. The rooms are cozy, have everything you need, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, an electric kettle, a new house has a gas stove, there is always hot water in the shower. There is also a shared kitchen where there are 2 large refrigerators, for those who do not have them in the room, an electric stove and a gas stove (very convenient when the lights are turned off, and this is often in Abkhazia). A family friend Jamal will take you on any excursion (I recommend Lake Ritsa, blue lake, cave, fortress, monastery in New Athos). Convenient location in the village of Primorskoye this is the second house from the road closest to the sea, a 25-minute walk to the hydrogen sulfide spring. I liked the untouched nature, the absence of a large crowd of people on the beach (the beach is pebbly after entering the sandy sea). A peaceful quiet holiday, if desired, near New Athos (10 minutes by taxi or bus if desired), where there are many attractions and crowded. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

At the beginning of July 2022, we had a chance to get a vacation at the Komarov Guest house. It was the first trip to Abkhazia in our life, from which only positive emotions remained. An important role in this was played by the place where we stayed for rest and the warm welcome of Dmitry and Elena.
The rooms were ordered with amenities, clean and cozy. The veranda is conveniently made, on which there is a table next to the entrance to the room. We preferred to cook in the shared kitchen and eat on the veranda, where we could see the sea.
The territory is landscaped by caring owners, there is a green area with a barbecue, a tangerine garden, palm trees, a Playground and Parking places. The territory is under video surveillance, which affects the safety and quality of recreation.
It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the sea at a calm pace, the main thing is to carefully cross the highway and railway tracks. The beach is pebbly with sand, the water is clean, there are not many vacationers. There is a shop and a cafe on the way to the sea.
A 30-minute walk away there is a hydrogen sulfide spring, visiting which you can improve your health.
Hospitable and good-natured Dmitry and Elena are always ready to help with any questions. If necessary, they can arrange excursions for you. We were on our own transport, so Elena explained in great detail where you can go and what places to visit. It is very interesting to have evenings where all the guests gather.
I am happy to recommend it to people who appreciate nature and a relaxing holiday.

Everything is great for a relaxing beach holiday, the only thing that is missing is places to walk.
We had a great 26 days in May-June 2022. Friendly and caring hosts, we felt comfortable and calm. The way of life is very well established. All the amenities in the room. There is a good beach nearby, and a hydrogen sulfide spring nearby. Unfortunately, the catering does not work in May, all cafes are closed. But in the next house it turned out that you can eat with a very pleasant hostess (Tatyana Ionovna, Shahumyan str. 16), tasty and not expensive!
A cafe on the shore opened in June.

Our family came on vacation to Abkhazia, namely to the wonderful place of the village of Primorskoye from far away Novosibirsk to the wonderful people Komarov Dmitry and Elena.To say that I am happy with everything is to say nothing, I am delighted with the hospitality of the hosts.From the first day we met , it was as if we were visiting our relatives , throughout the rest there was an answer to any question , everything was explained and suggested what and how .And the farewell evening was just fabulous, a concert was arranged for vacationers, they sang songs to us , read poetry, and Elena just played beautiful melodies to us on the piano .Then we all went to the Black Sea coast together and burned a bonfire, well, it's just magical.))Come safely to rest here, I was also worried because I booked back in February, Dmitry was always in touch and if I had any questions, he answered very quickly and clearly.I recommend 100 percent, even 200))Next year, only here to our Komarovs

We rested at the Komarovs' from 29.08. to 07.09.22. A quiet, peaceful place.Large garden, palm trees, lots of flowers.A nightingale sang in the morning, which was a complete surprise to us.You are guaranteed a sound and healthy sleep.There was always light, hot and cold water.The kitchen is shared, plus the advice and care of the owners are provided to you, there is everything you need.We went to the spring every morning, then to the sea.The proximity of the sea is a huge plus.The beach is pebbly, with fine sand entering the sea.The entrance is flat.The sea was clear and warm +28.The beach is half empty, there are few people, the social distance is very large, this is important.There are 2 cafes on the beach.They cook after ordering, everything is fresh and delicious.We realized that we want to come back here again.I will recommend it to all my friends.Dmitry and Elena, thank you for your hospitality!

We rested at the Komarovs from 06/11/21 to 06/23/21. Very hospitable and caring hosts. We were in a hurry to make repairs to the room before our arrival. There were two adults and two children (9.11 years old). Our room is on the second floor, with a separate entrance to the terrace. The room has a shower, toilet (tile finish), 4 beds and a sofa, a rack for things. Clean, nice, the terrace is shared with another room. We had our own table on the terrace, we liked to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The kitchen is large, shared by all vacationers. There are enough dishes, but there is not enough refrigerator for everyone. They bought a new washing machine with us, we didn't have a chance to use it. The kitchen is not euro, but everything you need is there. Two gas and electric tiles, kettles are also electric and for a gas stove, dishes, pots and pans.
We took a drawing lesson from Elena, (it's for adults) I really liked it, it's unusual and interesting. It's good to be in a group, not individually.
It's very close to the beach, I didn't notice the time, because I don't want to rush on vacation, we walked slowly. Go through two houses, cross the highway and rails, one way and already the beach.
The beach was very large and free, pebbles, you go into the sea and then sand. There were some jellyfish and dolphins.
Cows and horses come to graze on the grass.
We tried to buy local products. Cow's milk -100 rubles. 3L tangerine juice with a jar -300 rubles, if the jar is replaced, then 250 rubles.
The cafe on the shore with white curtains is cute and tasty, meat in Abkhazian, on Elena's advice, was taken, delicious.
We went to the hydrogen sulfide spring, on foot, the road is not uphill. the cost is 200 rubles for an adult. 7 days for 20 minutes.
Price-quality -hospitality ratio 👍

The owners are very responsive, the house is surrounded by greenery, the service is excellent, the shower and toilet are in the room, the rooms are spacious, it is very convenient to sit on the veranda next to the room and admire the trees of the garden. Hello! We had a wonderful vacation with the Komarov family. We are grateful that someone's check-in was canceled and we successfully saw the announcement, and we never regretted that we went to them. The owners of the guest houses are Dmitry and Elena (unfortunately, we managed to talk with Elena quite a bit, she was away). Thanks to Dmitry for the service in the cabins. We rented a house that stands separately from them, since we came to rest with two families, each room has a separate shower and toilet, the rooms are clean, freshly renovated, everything is concise, four beds in one of the rooms, the other had a double bed and two more beds, there are air conditioners, TV, WFi, there is also the opportunity to drink tea at the table in front of the room, watching the greenery, which is not found in our latitudes near Moscow. It's really not far from the sea, we, on Dima's recommendation, chose the path that leads under the railway and it's colorful, ivy has grown into the walls and along the way there is just a cafe "At Maki", where the tastiest food and the most wonderful view of the sea. Their kitchen is separate, but very close to our house, you can roast meat, you can cook in the kitchen, spacious, with all the necessary equipment. Hydrogen sulfide springs are within walking distance (excursions specially come here from other cities), but we only have to walk, and procedures, and wonderful views are a bonus to housing. The cost of entering the source is 200 rubles. We recommend staying with the Komarov family - this is a pleasant, quiet, green holiday, the beach is not so crowded, free, the coastline is a pleasant combination of nature and civilization. It is suitable for a relaxing holiday with children (who do not like excessive noise on the central beaches and want to enjoy the rural silence by the sea), without fuss, extra spending on all sorts of incomprehensible entertainment. Thanks to Komarov, I hope that it will be possible to visit these beautiful places more than once.
