Excellent atmospheric restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine. They took a Kiev cutlet, a pozharsky cutlet, zrazy with beef, pancakes, smoked bacon. I liked everything very much, the portions are large and the service is pleasant. Waitress Irma is just great!

Every time we come to Batumi, we are happy to have dinner or lunch at the restaurant Ukraine! The waitress Nino served us very well and quickly. The food quality is excellent. Hello, I want to share my experience of visiting this institution.
In the order we had:
Poultry salad with mushrooms ≈ 12 GEL
Dumplings with potatoes ≈ 6.5 lari
Pozharsky cutlet with side dish ≈ 23 lari
The first note is that the prices on the menu are high, just stopping by for a snack will be expensive.
There was a lot of salt in the poultry salad, and the salt was coarse and crunchy on the teeth.
I also want to note that the portions are very large, in fact, one serving of salad is enough for three people.
Dumplings - it was a complete disappointment. The dumplings are homemade, they have very little filling (there are more fillings in the store), the cherry on the cake is poured with MARGARINE. It's a matter of taste, of course, but I know for sure that margarine is far from a useful thing, and there were two tablespoons of it, dumplings floated in it.
A cutlet is a piece of bread, there is nothing more to say. Minced meat with bread, breadcrumbs from a thick layer of bread. A dry and sad cutlet. The side dish was lightly salted baked potatoes and a slow salad, which was without dressing, empty cabbage with carrots and herbs, without oil and salt.
I can't say anything about the service, the waiter served us quickly and in few words.
Annoying flies are also flying on the flyer! There are ashtrays, you can smoke.

I really liked this restaurant! During our stay in Batumi, my husband and I ate there several times. The best cuisine in Batumi! Pleasant and polite waitresses, always greeted and said goodbye with pleasant words when leaving. Everything that was ordered was very tasty. I want to return to such a place!

We were in October: We ordered borscht, olivier, branded salad, draniki, Kiev cutlet and chop - we liked everything! Very tasty! In borscht, a large piece of meat - tenderloin - without veins, bones - very tender.

Now I understand where the reviews come from from extreme to extreme. There are different shifts on different days. Yesterday everything was perfect, today it's not the waitresses, but some boorish grandmothers. It's JUST UGH, just looking at them makes you want to eat. Just made an order, after 15 seconds she asked to replace the dish with another one - refusal. That's it, I've already punched it. Disgusting. The other shift had nice women and excellent food service. We need to beg for the menu, maybe we should go cook ourselves? (Lard, by the way, is really tasteless)

1. Be careful when ordering Olivier - a portion is two or even three times larger than usual. There is little mayonnaise, but it is a matter of taste. There are no complaints here - it is edible.
2. Borscht with pork rinds is a weak semblance of borscht, cooked from sauerkraut according to a local recipe - an atypical aftertaste is felt. In this case, the mixing of gastric cultures only spoiled the final product.
The so-called pork rinds actually turned out to be pieces of unprocessed lard with a disgusting taste.
3. Overcooked and dry cutlets - from the very sight of which the stomach took pity in a plea not to eat "this".

Women well over 40 with a haughty expression.
Interaction experience
After seeing a huge portion of salad, a rather large portion of tasteless borscht, I decided to give up the cutlets until they were taken out.
But at my request to exclude them from the bill, they told me that "ordered - eat. We are preparing them."
Wrap the "yes" with you, cancel the "no".
Attempts to convince the manager of the establishment only led to the appearance of this review, leaving me with a package of food of disgusting taste.
In Ukraine, they don't cook like that, and even more so they don't greet guests like that.

I strongly recommend avoiding it, unless you are a fan of extreme flavor combinations.

It's boiling over.
The food is ordinary, it will do to stop by for a snack in the city. However, this is not the first time the boorish attitude of the staff has driven you to the handle. Waitresses, by the way, women of 50+, leave the feeling of school barmaids who are not ready to lift a finger once again, but making a remark is the most favorite thing. Are you sitting wrong? Girl, put your foot down! (put her leg under her) Did you come with a puppy weighing a kilogram in a closed carrier (!) to sit on the veranda? Don't come with the dog anymore, we've been scolded. The words "excuse me, please, could you, thank you for understanding" are completely absent, although as a visitor I am always as polite and correct as possible. In general, since we were told not to come anymore, we won't come anymore.

The four of us went for a walk, decided to drink tea, coffee and drinks for the children. The waiter said that we don't put them on drinks, take more food, but I just didn't want to eat. It's just some kind of tin. I would understand if the restaurant was packed, so it was 11 a.m., and 1 table was occupied. Ie, with an empty cafe, they refused to earn even a couple of lari. Therefore, it is better to go to the neighbors right away.

Sus was brought in dirty glass jars, not to eat - it's unpleasant to take it in your hands
There was a hair in the salad.

When you get tired of eating khachapuri and khinkali, and you want a good borscht with sour cream, pickle and Kiev cutlets with all kinds of side dishes, or just longed for homemade food - you are definitely here. The service is better and faster than in other Batumi restaurants, the portions are large and hearty. Desserts are a separate plus. I recommend.
