I do not advise you to go without a guide, except to dig into the sources yourself. A small museum with an informative exposition, a beautiful statue of Mirzo Ulugbek, and the remains of the observatory will not leave anyone indifferent. The breathtaking panorama of the city from the top of the hill where the observatory is located is breathtaking.
