This is one of the most ancient holy places in Kazakhstan. We drove from Aktau to the north of the KZ, there was a desire to visit this place, we purposefully drove to it, but before reaching Zhanaozen about 40 km, at the interchange, the navigator glitched and it turned out that we ended up in a Shetpe (this is 300 km), so, after a short thought, when we realized that in vain They didn't ask anyone for directions... we still returned and visited this wonderful place! I don't regret a single gram that we spent almost a day riding back and forth!
Yes, of course it's a bit hard to climb back, but IT'S WORTH IT!!! It's an indescribable feeling-you need to feel it yourself!!!
An amazing place! The very path from the entrance to the complex to the Beket Ata monastery itself embodies a test - both physical and spiritual. And don't forget to wash your face and drink some water in the holy springs!
I really liked it. There are many visitors/pilgrims. I got there by accident, was in those parts and was strongly recommended to visit. I didn't regret it. They even invited me to a meal (I don't know what it's called correctly).
To get here, you need to overcome 1,500 meters of the path along a specially arranged staircase, descending to the foot of the mountain range. But it is very difficult to climb in the heat, along the way there is a source of salt water. The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It's worth a look
One of the shrines of Western Kazakhstan, souvenir shops were banned , which pleases .There is a place for cutting a sacrificial ram, you can also dry your head there, a large kitchen for cooking 4 boilers, a place to rest, a prayer hall.On the way down to the Holy Beket Ata there are gazebos for relaxation. the spring.
Everyone who honors holy places should visit and walk the path from top to bottom and back. A good test of strength and will and just physical.preparation.
A very holy spiritual place. It is located on hills, rocks. It's a powerful place, people go there with good intentions, it's a holy place!!! I've been there once, in summer, it's very hot, it's hard, so if someone has health problems, I don't recommend visiting in the summer, it's better in spring or autumn as the heat subsides. The climate is quite hot
This place opened me up, its energy, the Saint himself, Beket Ata, I bring people here from all over the world, this place helps everyone who set foot on its land, the road does not open to everyone, but if it opens, then everything will be fine🙏
