1. The complete absence of a kitchen.
A microwave and 2 chairs, there is no way to cook food.
2. The rooms are renovated..... At one time, there may have been an interesting idea, but now ordinary concrete walls with cracks.
It feels like you're a migrant worker in an unfinished room.
3. Beds without curtains, which is very inconvenient.

We stay in hostels often, in different countries and cities. This one is one of the most worthy, polite girls here, clean, everything is quite new, there is a cafe where you can eat and work comfortably (and we are freelancers), and the cafe's emphasis is on pp nutrition. There is a lot of space, there is a recreation and work area, there is also a kitchenette, but we ate in a cafe. There are affordable prices and cozy) the room was initially rented with a double bed, they will put some water and sweets there, which is nice. Then we drove to the shared room, which was also quite good. Different people stay here, and there are a lot of foreigners and Russian speakers, all decent. A cool hostel in the city center. It's clean and cozy inside. There is a place to work, a recreation room, a summer terrace. The beds are comfortable. There is a cafe on the ground floor, the breakfasts are not expensive. The receptionists are friendly, they always greet you with a smile and are ready to help. Plus, I would also like to mention the drawers for each bed-places where you can put your things (if you want to lock it, you can buy it at the reception).
In general, the impressions about this place are only positive. The price is adequate, meets the conditions.

Super hostel! Exceeded all expectations!
The coolest thing is the location. Trinity Hill, Opera House, upper town, island of tears, Zybitskaya St., Komsomolskaya, Nemiga ... - everything is very close!
For 3 days I have never used public transport! The Red Church, Oktyabrskaya Street, Sandbox, railway and bus stations - about 20-30 minutes on foot.
The rooms are clean, new, stylish. Next to the bed there are 2 sockets, a lamp, and feeders for things. There is a storage box at the bottom.(roomy). You can purchase or bring a lock. I didn't close it. There were 4 women in the room. It was comfortable.
The mattress is great. The blanket is warm.
The hostel has many common areas: a large living room with sofas, armchairs, tables, games, ironing board. You can come there with tea (make it free in the shared kitchen)! There are also a lot of free events in the evenings.
There is a small kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, dishes). There are coolers with drinking water everywhere.
There is a cafe on the ground floor. They make coffee, there is a menu (porridge, soup, something else :)). It is open until 22 00. Delicious and inexpensive.
Very convenient "washrooms". There is a toilet +shower in a separate room. There has never been a queue!!!
Reception is 24 hours! Girls, thank you for the hospitality and information! By the way, you can book excursions through the reception. (Departure will be from the Yubileynaya hotel - 10 minutes on foot along the Svisloch River).
Upon departure, you can leave your bag in the storage room near the reception.(free of charge) This is very cool!
The prices are very reasonable!!!
In general, a SUPER hostel! I recommend it to everyone!

The hostel is great!
The staff team is very friendly and responsible. Public spaces are really spacious, even for hostels, this is rare, there are many different areas where you can sit and a terrace outside.
The rooms are not stuffy, comfortable.
From the wishes:
1. I really want to add curtains on the bed
2. The doors do not snap shut during normal closing, you either have to slam hard or pull it on yourself for a long time, at night the claps are very loud

The most "AWESOME" hostel, you will feel like a tourist.
The price is great, large beds with amenities, all the linen was clean, but from nowhere the hair from the previous one remained on the bed (it was a bit insulting, but there is no more minus.
I definitely RECOMMEND it to everyone.
There was no free bed in the whole of Minsk and some did not even pick up the phone at night, and when Urban called, they answered the call very politely and quickly.
That night (December 9th at 2 a.m.), a guy who was not tall with long hair did not remember the name worked at the reception (. GUY if you read you a lot of respect for the politeness and respect of customers. He treats everyone equally with Respect.
My appeal to the administrator of Urban Hostel, if possible, give a raise or what kind of bonus to this guy. For a clear job ✊

A very cozy and tourist-friendly place! I've never been to hostels before, and this hostel was my first - I think now I have high expectations from hostels for life :) The identity is preserved throughout the hostel - from the reception to the toilets. The staff is very polite and it feels like they really want to help you! There is everything you need from the amenities, toilets and showers are enough not to stand in queues. If you are staying in Minsk and do not want to spend a lot of money on accommodation - this is the perfect place for this!!

Advantages: -fresh renovation
- excellent showers
-entrance and exit from the hostel are available around the clock
- they don't force you to take off your shoes at the entrance)
Cons: -terrible kitchen. even the staff does not use it, but uses the kitchen in the cafe.
- my things were washed along with someone else's men's T-shirt. Maybe by accident, or maybe they threw all the things together on purpose, and in the end they forgot to put them in different bags. To put it mildly, it's not a very pleasant situation. But for some reason I'm not very surprised, and that's the question of why I got such an impression.
Also, a "key card" is used in the rooms. So, whether you will be able to sleep will depend on the degree of culture of the neighbors. At a time when the door could be held, most girls preferred to slam it.

At the same time, this is a historical center, a historical building, or to be more precise, an apartment building of the 18th or 19th century. My dream has finally come true - I went on vacation to Minsk)
There was little time, we chose from what was already available.
When we visited the website of the Urban Hostel, the decision was made with lightning speed.
ADVANTAGES:
- room rates
- the location of the hostel! The Upper Town, Pobediteley Avenue are within walking distance, and even Independence Avenue can be reached on foot. But it will be appreciated by those who like hiking when traveling.
There is a lot of traffic on Bogdanovich Street nearby.
- the concept of the hostel. I like to stay in places where people have approached the design thoroughly!
- clean, comfortable
- lots of toilets and showers.
- there is an ironing board and an iron
- friendly guys, always in touch, always answer on Whatsapp.
- the activity of the hostel itself
CONS (alas, they are, but these are my subjective cons)
- lack of a kitchen. For a budget tourist, this is a huge sadness. There was a room in which three people could hardly fit. In the morning and evening, I had to wait for 5 people to warm up their breakfasts /dinners, and then wash the plates. A small refrigerator, in which you had to try to cram food in a bag. On the third floor there is a spacious gym, in which only 2 people worked out during the five days that we lived in the hostel. In my opinion, hungry guests are more important than healthy people).
- The coffee shop is in the building. It seems that she has to solve the problem of wanting to eat hot food. but! in all the time that we tried to have breakfast there, only one was successful. because the coffee shop is also open to outside traffic. and only 1 person works in the kitchen!!!!! a girl who is both a cashier, a cook, and a waiter. On the last day, we waited about 5-7 minutes for her to just take our order. But she didn't even come up to us because she had orders. Having drunk a lot, they left.
- very unstable Wi-Fi. Nowadays, communication is a very important moment that can spoil the mood.
- renovation of the room on the floor. I understand that it is necessary to upgrade, rebuild, repair something. But this should be done during the day, when the hostel is empty. When you are on your feet all day, you want to relax in the evening, relax, fall asleep in silence. And then something is being sawed, hammered, dropped. I am a guest in your hostel, my comfort should come first.
Despite the disadvantages, I give the hostel a solid five. Thanks for the vacation))))))

A unique place to Minsk: a modern hostel with a pleasant design, well-thought-out public places: a lecture hall lounge on the ground floor with a projector and psp, hammocks in the backyard. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor, which has terrible breakfasts, unfortunately. We lived in a family room for 4 people, which is convenient with children. There is laundry on request, thanks, things smelled very cozy.
The room has snow-white linen, but not the freshest floor. I'm sure it's easy to fix)
