A wonderful place to walk at any time of the year. It is easy to get there without a car - from the Gritsevets railway station on foot about three kilometers along a magnificent forest road. The estate has begun to be renovated, although it seems to me that it would be better to preserve it, otherwise I feel that there will be another tourist facility a la Belarus. A stone's throw from the manor house on the banks of the Kocheryshki river there is a pretty gazebo for a picnic, unfortunately full of household garbage left by uncultured visitors.
Hello, friends. Bokhvitsi Manor. After the turn, the road to the manor begins along an alley of lime trees. Huge, big, beautiful, stately lime trees. And yes, they are very grown-up. You can walk a little along the brick road. The estate began to be restored. Plastic windows and doors were installed. Grilles on the windows of the basement.
In front of the porch of the main entrance, you can admire the stately oaks and linden trees.
While in the sanatorium, I decided to explore the nearest district. I went to Pavlinovo.
The estate is very beautiful, despite the fact that only one wall of the building has been restored. It seems that some kind of restoration is underway, but at the same time, the fresh lining on the terrace began to fall off.
The manor house looks interesting, reconstruction has begun, the windows have been replaced with plastic ones, the thickets of bushes around the house have been removed. The adjacent buildings are also under renovation. There is a river nearby, the locals have settled there for picnics)
New windows and doors have been installed now (autumn 2024). The doors are closed. It was not possible to get inside.
The building is in good condition from the outside.
The place is calm and surrounded by forest closely.
It looks beautiful) but there is nothing so cool. Everything is closed, the restoration began many years ago, but it obviously won't end either. Everything stopped there
The building is like a building .It is majestic and requires investments . Repairs are underway but started. Everything is locked. What impressed me was the river, down the road. Indescribable beauty.
People knew where to build manors.
Another interesting point in the vicinity of Baranovichi is the Bokhvichi estate in the village of Pavlinovo. It was built at the beginning of the last century - 1906 is indicated on the facade of the house, but some sources call this year the beginning of construction with the end in 1909. There is already a neo-Gothic style here, which gives the building an unusual appearance, as if it were not an estate, but a miniature castle. An interesting detail on the facades: on the front one there is one lancet window and two round ones; on the north one there are three Gothic ones, under which there are ordinary rectangular ones. After the war, a hospital was located here, the interior decoration of the house was completely destroyed, the roof tiles were replaced with iron. Since 2008, the estate has the status of historical and cultural value of national significance.
The owners are trying very hard to put everything in order, but there is a lot of work ahead. There is a stable on site. You can have a picnic and go horseback riding.
Restoration is underway. An interesting story, we took a picture with an old building built in 1906. It was atmospheric) the trees are ancient, apparently from the same ancient park. We were in winter, I think it's even more beautiful in summer
You can't go inside, but outside you can walk around and look at a dilapidated house - such a thing... If someone could tell about the history of this building, it would probably be interesting (you can Google it without going anywhere)
The condition is deplorable. It seems that there was an investor who was going to bring the entire estate complex, but unfortunately the condition of the buildings is sad! 🤦🤦♂️🤷
A picturesque and great place to relax both alone and with a family, there is a stable where you can ride a horse, a huge lake and a lot of interesting things!!!! I recommend it for a visit!!!
It's easy to find: pull off the road near an abandoned checkpoint and drive forward quite a bit. Renovation has begun in the estate: plastic windows, iron doors, an iron roof, a cement porch. Nearby buildings are also being repaired. The fact that they are also of historical value can be guessed only by reading the sign on the building itself. You can't go inside the building. On the one hand, it's good that they breathe a second life into the buildings, but .... A very beautiful river nearby, it is difficult to find a more romantic place at sunset. The park is overgrown. A large oak tree grows in the courtyard and a small alley near the buildings has been preserved.
The place was good. It was good in 1906, and it was good until 1917, and then 1939. Yes, if so, then it was good after that. And now it's just a good example, a classic example of agrotresh restoration.
White plastic windows, brown doors, plaster over stucco and a pale pink facade, a monolithic porch, like a loading in a village store, iron doors and ubiquitous metal tiles (thanks for not being blue). And most importantly, the basement is made of aerated concrete and the walls are insulated with foam, flavored with a layer of plaster. And all this is crowned by a sign - a historical and cultural value.
You can either take off the cross there, or put on your underpants.
They tried to restore the estate, but at the moment no work is underway, everything is closed and it will not be possible to go inside. The territory is unkempt.
The Bokhvitsi estate in Pavlinovo is one of the pearls in the collection of the estates of the Baranovichi and Lyakhovichi districts. When visiting, I also recommend visiting the Kotlubaev estate in Yastrembla.
Oh, yes, I almost forgot. If you go to the manor, don't be lazy to take a walk to the lake. Even in the autumn landscape, the place is amazing
Bokhvitsi manor in Pavlinovo. It's just a pain. To insert modern double-glazed windows and plastic doors into an ancient building! The roof should be covered with metal tiles of the current houses... Don't even mow the area around... Manholes with sewer valves are open and overgrown, you may not notice... There is no desire to repeat the visit
When the estate was renovated and now it looks like it's also 2021, what can I say before they were able to build, there are a lot of good landscapes where you can take a picture, there is a chabor next to it, the only minus is the road
I am glad that at least someone cares about the building and it is being restored. But still, I would like to preserve the originality of the structure of those times, that brick…
Complete nonsense!!!!!!!
It's a long way to go from Minsk. There's nothing to see. A ruin with PVC windows. There is an overgrown pond nearby.
Just wasted time!
My ADVICE is NOT RECOMMENDED to you!!!!!
It seemed that this building could have a second life. This cannot be called a restoration. but if the owners continue, the building will live. There will probably be a place for tourists to relax here. Be sure to go further down the road. The reservoir on the Kocheryk river is very picturesque.
Unfortunately, only the walls remain of history, and then not everywhere. Plastic windows and 1 plastered facade casually devalued the object. The former stable is completely new. I recommend visiting, but no more than 10 minutes, since there is nothing else to do there. For effective viewing, it is better to arm yourself with information from the Internet or scan a QR code on the facade.

Very picturesque places.
Bochwitz chose this place for a reason.
This is my favorite place, my childhood was spent there, my ancestors lived there. I love this river and the forest. I love this beautiful lime alley and oak grove near the estate.
Of course, it's not easy to get there, it was another abandonment. Now they are trying to restore it, the main thing is not to the detriment of the historical view
The beautiful outlines of the estate, but it is already clear how the reconstruction was spoiled by modern tasteless double-glazed windows. It is not worth going separately, unless on the way. Everything is in the thicket nearby

There are beautiful places around, it would be good to restore the estate and open something in it, but it is clear that it has not been occupied since the hospital was there.
