The first monument to V.I. Lenin was erected during the formation of the modern appearance of the square in the early 70s. It was cast from concrete and painted with white paint. After the new monument in bronze was ready, this monument was dismantled and taken to Yurovichi, it was installed on the shore of Lake Litvin on the territory of the pioneer camp (I myself witnessed both operations). Then the marble slabs of the grandstand were mounted on the pedestal (before that it was wooden).
