This is a super place where you can meet different people from different countries and have a great time in the evening after walking. The rooms are great, everything is always tidy and clean. The host is very cool and welcoming. I advise you to stop right here to feel the unusual atmosphere of Tbilisi.
I'll tell you a story about how a place failed to decorate a person, and a person again managed to spoil the place nicely.
In April, I was going to come to Georgia with a dance seminar. I decided to stay at Vagabond, I know the founders in absentia, I myself visited here a few years ago and remember this place as warm and hospitable.
My friends contacted me directly with the person who is currently in charge of the hotel. His name is Robert— https://www.instagram.com/tibidaboandtabaco who he is there in the office — Mr. Director, or bring it, I do not know for sure (at some point, Robert switched from "I" to "we", probably referring to all his subpersonalities, and began to sign "Sincerely, the Vagabond team")
In short, I booked a room with 100% prepayment, warning that my trip would be confirmed (or not) closer to the case, and discussed the terms of the refund. Robert says, "okie-doki, give us a week's notice and we'll refund the money, no problem."
8 days before arrival, I canceled the reservation for personal reasons (my father was in a clinical condition, fortunately, everything is OK now, he is recovering).
And since then, for a month now, Robert and his entire "team" have been feeding me promises, changing the terms of return, referring to Easter (God forbid) and the accountant, not picking up the phone, and so on.
Three days ago, I suggested that Robert close this issue, return the money and leave with a clear conscience. I warned that if the situation is not resolved in three days, I will make it transparent to the public.
Robert began to be rude to this, calling me "Russian", claiming that their booking was irrevocable, denying his own words and agreements.
Then, as I expected, Robert, tucking his fluffy tail between his legs, blocked me on social networks and merged with the beautiful mountain landscape.
In general, it smells bad in Vagabond today. I do not recommend going there.
Oh, this human factor (aka the housing issue) has ruined everything for us again!
In the carousel, our short epistolary novel with Robert, read it if anyone is interested 🧐
