I have never seen a worse place in Mogilev! The kitchen is terrible, it is impossible to eat, we got a waiter who forgot to bring the menu, waited a long time, then brought water, forgot to bring glasses. Caesar salad does not match the stated proportions on the menu, it looks like a mess of leaves and 2 slices of tomato (not even cherry). They didn't eat, they didn't even touch it, they gave it back, but they billed it and made them pay. Upon refusal, the police were called... I have never seen such a SHOW anywhere else. Nikita, the waiter, was rude, apparently felt that he was a male and could allow girls to be rude. The director of the institution decided that we, as guests, were not worthy of talking to her and analyzing the situation, but called the police. In a word, disrespect for the guests, the boorish attitude of the waiter. Avoid this place.

The food is at a high level. Perhaps the best place in the city for the quality of the dishes. I really like the atmosphere of the place, quiet and calm music, you can comfortably communicate, hear the interlocutor and not shout back. Very tasty pastries at the nearby Madeleine's pastry shop.

And for Olivier, as I love :) I do not know who writes about high dishes, but there is nothing high, everything is normal, there were dishes that just surprised me, I did not even know that someone else cooks like that, pasta, for example)) thanks also to Van Gogh for trying Alivaria beer thanks to them) I really liked it, as a result, we bought different varieties of Alivaria all the vacation)
If you want to eat relatively quickly and not expensively, then Van Gogh is a good place for this.

The kitchen is disgusting, it's the worst I've ever tasted... even in the most modest and run-down cafe. I'll start in order. We came by booking a table in advance, we were placed where we wanted. After studying the menu, each of us chose dishes according to our taste preferences. The waiters, by the way, were not in a hurry, well, in other things, we were in no hurry, we came to celebrate a birthday. The order was made, while many of the drinks that were announced on the menu were not on the bar and moreover, ordering wine was the only bottle....it's not serious for such an institution ..... Okay, let's move on. The waitress did not know the basic things how to serve glasses, how to pour, who to serve first to a woman or a man, in what order the dishes are served and a bunch of other things that every waiter of any institution should know, regardless of his "stardom" or "status". As a result, we were served dishes and drinks just like that... It was impossible to raise glasses together, then someone had not yet been brought, then someone had already cooled down or melted (in this case it was ice in a glass). In general, everything was very poorly organized, it seemed that the waiter was working for the first day, although when I asked how long she had been working here, I was told that it was a long time... Let's go back to the kitchen, I can immediately say it's just terrible....!!!! We ordered a carpaccio of marbled beef, they brought us some kind of frozen substance resembling minced meat. The administration of the cafe, where did you see the marbled beef? Are you writing her out from abroad? We don't have marbled beef in Belarus, and do you know what marbled beef looks like? And at least it would have to cost 100-200 rubles, depending on which part is served. The marbled beef steak was disgusting, overcooked, with streaks that not only didn't bite, they weren't even cut with a knife. The steak in one word resembled the sole of a "shoe"... There was also cod fish, again, frozen several times baked in batter, I did not feel the taste of fish even close, so I ate the dough for pancakes. Bruschetta with goat cheese also turned out to be a "fake", instead of goat cheese they put ordinary soft cheese. The burger was also disgusting, which was stated in the menu was not served to the table. In the end, everything was disgusting and delicious.... In general, dear administration of the Van Gogh cafe, pay attention to your kitchen first of all, change your chef, because it is not possible to spoil everything at once, I admit that one dish may not work, but not all at once. And do some training with your waitresses so that they know the specifics of their work. In every self-respecting institution, the administrator must conduct a mini-review and staff training in the morning before opening. Or change to more qualified staff, although it will cost completely different money, because you can pay much less to those who are not very experienced.... In conclusion, I will say one thing, the evening was ruined!!!! We left the cafe in such disappointment, it was not easy for the birthday boy that he invited us to your cafe. There is only one conclusion, we will not go to you anymore!!!! And one more thing I want to tell you, the toilet worked alone, i.e. if someone "felt like it" then wait or go anywhere..... These guys are not serious.....
I always visit this institution when I am in Mogilev.. I found out about it in the winter of 2016 and I really liked it: a pretty kitchen, high-level service. Desserts..
And tea with lemon and mint in a jar at a very pleasant price will always warm you in bad weather...
I didn't like it. At all. No kitchen. No furniture. It feels like most people come just to take selfies, and everywhere - on the stairs, in the doorway, at the table, etc.
No wonder, the menu is very small, desserts and drinks are three times more than the main menu.

The food is ordinary, but the service is just terrible. They forgot about the drinks, the waiters do not understand the look, you need to shout "WAITER", and they do not always react to this. The hall is quite empty, and the service is as unhurried as possible. The girls themselves are untidy, they calmly put the menu on the dirty table, they don't even wipe it before.
A lot of pathos. The kitchen is sooo mediocre. They thought to catch customers on purchases, but it didn't work out. And the coffee is so-so, but I can only speak for the Latte.
