I disagree with previous reviews. The hotel is old, but clean and quiet enough, the mattresses are excellent, the linen is good, the shower, the toilet is decent.
The breakfast was not rich, but dried olives, good cheese and fresh bread were. Well, as usual - cereal, eggs, salad.
The area is authentic - narrow streets, lots of cafes.
The staff was helpful and helped with the taxi and met us at the subway.
We had a great night's sleep, took a walk and rested between flights
Very old rooms, nothing works. The doors and windows to the balcony are difficult to close, everything can be heard from the street because of this.
The lamp above the bed was not working, the air conditioner was turned off, the TV was scratched. The refrigerator was cracking because it was very old and rusty.
Rust on the plumbing.
Pros: location, close to the metro and attractions, quite responsive staff, the guy's rights spoke English poorly and could not speak Russian.
There are practically no advantages.
Of the cons:
-there is no sound insulation at all (you can hear sneezing in the next room)
- there was some kind of construction site under the windows
- there are breakfasts, but every day the same thing and the taste is not very good (necessarily boiled eggs, French fries, sausages)
-there were some strange hairs and pellets on the bed linen
- although a double bed was claimed, it was 2 mattresses
- there is not even a shelf in the shower (the shelf was located at the entrance to the bathroom)
In general, I do not recommend it
