Recently, my family and I visited the wonderful cafe “Venice”, located on Primorsky Boulevard. This cozy establishment has become a great place for our rest after long walks around the city.
From the very beginning, our attention was attracted by the very location of the cafe - it is located right on the water channels, which create the atmosphere of a real Venice. There is a stunning view of the sea promenade around, which makes this place even more picturesque.
The menu of the cafe “Venice” offers dishes of European and Azerbaijani cuisine. Everything was prepared according to our wishes and turned out to be at the highest level.
I would especially like to mention the service in the cafe - the waiters were polite and attentive, always ready to help in choosing dishes and drinks.
Overall, we were very pleased with our visit to the Venice Cafe! :)

Expensive, noisy, not tasty. Prices are several times higher than in other tourist places. We took dolma, salad with meat, lamb in wine sauce and 2 ice cubes - 108 manats. The dolma was very salty, ice tea was just water with syrup, there was no tea there. Mutton without side dish, that is, just fatty meat with fried onions.
The main disadvantage is the cacophony of sounds from two restaurants, it feels like both restaurants are competing to see who has the louder and more fun music.
Card payment does not work (10/30.24). At the end of dinner, get ready to run to the ATM at the mall (~800m one way).
It's a great place. If you want to drink a glass of wine and enjoy a little Venetian, you are definitely here. Beautifully and directly evokes emotions that are not found anywhere else.
Don't go to this restaurant. It's tasteless, but the prices are above average. It is dirty, dusty, the waiters lay out carpets in the restaurant, then serve dishes and food with dirty hands. The owner lies about the quality and composition of the dishes, the most unpleasant person we met in Baku during the trip.
I always wanted to get into this restaurant, but how disappointed we were, lemonade is the same as tap water with only sugar, fish with a smell, the order was waited for about an hour, and the prices are not cheap
I do not recommend visiting! It's not tasty, it's half-baked. And when they made claims, they told us that they were tired of us. They didn't even apologize! Don't spoil your impression of Baku. There are many places where it is delicious and you are welcome!
An evening walk along the Baku embankment naturally required a continuation in the form of dinner. About In
I read Venice in must see reviews, so when I saw the canals with boats, we went there. They were greeted coolly, they did not communicate in Russian, an employee with knowledge of English was invited, then everything is "normal". Imagine a two-storey restaurant on an artificial island with an open area surrounded by channels. Semi-darkness, the menu is in Azerbaijani and English, the prices are above average. Salad, hot dishes, two glasses of wine and tea in rubles came out in a little over 5 thousand. Delicious, full portions, it was 10 minutes before the first serving to take a walk, take a photo. The completion was a bit upsetting. After taking a hundred, the waiter disappeared, apparently deciding that the tip was already his. After the reminder, the change was brought and left by us, but the joy of the first walk around Baku was gone.
It's beautiful, but for exactly three minutes, you won't have time to understand how the circle is finished, just someone's good idea, a restaurant channel,
Don't set foot there!
We came for breakfast, only the cook and the cleaner were on site, the cook served us. They don't speak English, they only speak two words in Russian.
We ordered cappuccino and rice porridge. After ordering, I had to wait 20 minutes, during which time they did not even bring coffee. Instead of cappuccino, they brought Americano: "there is no barista, I am a cook." Instead of porridge, they brought rice for pilaf, floating in milk.
I had to leave
The staff is wonderful, the location of the restaurant and its artistic execution will take you for a while to the real Venice in the center of Baku) Delicious baklava from Baku and excellent cuisine. The view from the restaurant on the mighty Caspian Sea pleases both the soul and the eye.

I was disappointed with this restaurant, I do not recommend visiting it! Tasteless and expensive. Wine is 5 times more expensive than in the store. The quality of the dishes and the service does not meet the price tag on the menu. The service is disgusting - we are faced with the arrogance and rudeness of the staff. Change is not brought, be prepared to sit and wait a long time. Requests are ignored. I have been to different countries, I have never seen such service anywhere.
A system of walking water channels, islands and stairs. It is beautiful during the day and with evening illumination. You can take romantic photos, especially if there is also a fiery tower in the evening in the frame.
They ordered breakfast, pieces of glass were caught in the jam, hair in another dish, boorish service, they did not apologize for the inconveniences provided and said that they did not care that anything happens…
Walked up / got cold / went to drink tea... Yes, we sat there almost until closing)) Unobtrusively and attentively served. They advised me what to warm up/ what to eat. I liked almost everything. I don't even know why "good" and not "excellent")) Probably because sometimes it was draughty from somewhere (although we were located in the corner) and the music was playing loudly (it was regularly turned down, but somehow not enough)...
Why do you come here?
Come in the daytime, look at this dirt, stains and unpleasant smell. And waiters who don't know their own menu.
Not to love yourself for paying for this...
