We visited the pool. Great organization. Everything is clean, everything is at the highest level. At the entrance, a pleasant girl who speaks Russian fluently greets you. They give out bracelets in order to open cells and pay for purchases at the bar (a deposit is credited, the remainder of which is returned after a visit). A large towel is provided in the men's locker room, there are two showers and a toilet. mirror, hair dryer, socket. The pool has a Jacuzzi where small children can splash around. The pool is up to one and a half meters deep, there are inflatable toys, circles and balls. Sun loungers are located both in the sun and in the shade. Pleasant but monotonous music is playing. The staff is the best. Very polite guys, smiling, responsive. In the bar you can eat well (the price is not cheap, a milkshake is about 800 rubles (3200 drams), French fries 1000 drams), drink a cocktail (including alcoholic ones), eat ice cream. And the water is clean and pleasant.
Minuses:
- location (mostly by taxi)
- the room was freshly renovated, so there were signs of repair everywhere
- there are no curtains in the shower and the necessary furniture, then the whole floor is in water
- the lock in the bathroom door didn't work well
- the water was heated in the shower for a long time
- at the check-out, they counted the excess Jermuk mineral water, which we did not take
- the windows are high, there is no view as such (although sometimes you can see Ararat)
Positive:
- booking via the Island with a Russian Federation card
- free pool on the 5th floor
- 4 bottles of water as a gift
- breakfast
- view from the roof
- spacious 2-room suite (206) with living room and Jacuzzi
- accepted MIR cards for payment
- thank you for speaking the same language with us!
We came to this hotel with our family. We booked and paid for the accommodation in advance.
Upon arrival, a surprise awaited us - there were no available rooms, the administrator said "understand this situation" While we were having dinner, they prepared a "VIP room" for 10,000 rubles per day (pictured) There was nowhere to go, we stayed.
In the morning, we contacted our tour operator and, lo and behold, after the threat of a fine, there were already TWO empty rooms.
The management of the hotel are just unscrupulous mercantile people. They offered us to move out and write a receipt that we "wanted to move out ourselves" and have no complaints.
The service is three-star, and the bartender was generally surprised: you order drinks at the restaurant at the counter and then pick them up yourself 👍🏻
They moved us to a room, but it's not worth the money. The room is dirty, there are stains and chips on the walls…
They settled into a room with a double bed, without warning, without in any way reimbursing it with gifts from the hotel, not money. The entire staff hates their job with all their heart, especially the bartender, who exists in the restaurant as an ornament: a person who does not like everything constantly sits in the middle of the bar and smokes cigarettes into the room with the most unfriendly appearance. Also, the food in the restaurant is tasteless, which is quite rare for any establishments in Yerevan.
It's up to you to decide whether to live without a window, see a warehouse of boards in the backyard or listen to terrible music from the pool non-stop (from 11 to 20). To be honest, we chose this hotel because of the breakfasts and the pool - I was in the pool once, and never again: the music is really disgusting, and there are no ways to change it. The employee looks at you, nods his head and does nothing. In addition, it is very easy to burn your feet, on the way to the pool - the stone is very hot. Now breakfast - there was nothing extraordinary about it, but after the second trip there I felt pain and am still trying to cope with it (5 days). I cannot be sure that this is the problem, but when I imagine these products, I feel uneasy. And I noticed that the staff here sometimes just doesn't want to work, because when you ask for something extra, they say "yes, but..." and you have to repeat it twice to get them to do it. A good example: we asked to change the linen and wash our clothes with one call; we were warned that the laundry was paid; after 1 minute the maid came and took our clothes; what happened to our bed linen? We called them 3 times and waited for about 3 hours (unpaid service). To use the Wi-Fi, we have to sit on the floor next to the door. Well, it's not a place that's well-served at all, but it pretends to be. Of course, the ladies at the reception were usually kind to us: they helped us order food and kept our luggage for a day after our departure - otherwise the rating would have been lower). Now we live in a country house of artists, they don't talk too much about their facilities, but we feel care for the residents.
It's a great pool at the hotel, but the service is just terrible. They punch an extra bottle of beer and make you guilty of depriving people of part of their salary, because the cost of beer will be deducted from it.
There are 2 people in the kitchen by the pool, a lot of people, service at the rate of one pizza in 2 hours.
Only the staff is constantly sitting in the smoking room)
