On the eve of the New Year, a misfortune happened in our family, which could turn into a big disaster.
I'll start from the beginning, maybe our story will help others, the same pet lovers, avoid problems like ours in the future.
Four, a little over a year ago, we shortened our beloved, affectionate purr, taken from overexposure. They brought out fleas for her, which she did not carry, but they carried her and did not give life, they leafed through. It would seem that what else does a mongrel dog need, who cried under the store yesterday, and today, washed and fed, sleeps by the fireplace, in the arms of a new caring mother? - you ask me, my dear readers. And I will tell you what I would do today with enough experience, which almost became dramatic for our family. And only thanks to the Doctor with a capital letter, Gennady Petrovich Tchertopalov, we still have the happiness of communicating with our little princess.
Our Martha was already three paws on the way to the cat's paradise, but it was Gennady Petrovich who grabbed her by the fourth and pulled her out of the world. Correct, professional diagnosis, based on a blood test, revealed acute renal failure in our kitty, which was caused by an infection that struck her in very early childhood, possibly even in the womb of her mother - the first thing a breeder of any pet needs to do is to come to an appointment with a specialist and, in order to avoid complications in the future, to conduct a full examination and vaccinate, like any child, against all possible diseases, as well as to be constantly monitored by attentive and caring specialists.
As our practice has shown: good food, timely castration, game therapy, psychological and hygienic care are only a small part of our care, which can not always protect from negative environmental influences, before your appearance, in the life of any kitten.
Always listen and follow what your doctor tells you, but only on the basis of a comprehensive examination: X-ray, ultrasound, blood test, and, if necessary, stool and urine tests. Why, but because initially all the symptoms: nausea, after eating, and subsequently refusing it and water, indicated the presence of a foreign body, because you must agree, it is not always possible to keep track of your pet, and he often, like a small and unreasonable child, drags everything into his mouth. So we were sure that it was anything: a clip, or a sausage roll, a candy wrapper, or lumps of her own fur, worms in the end, but we leafed through it in the summer, because how can there be serious health problems for a four-year-old cat who leads an active feline lifestyle and she does everything that she is supposed to do in the status of a tail-owner - regularly, she is happy, she is happy!
So, if the doctor did not offer you to undergo basic tests, just turn around and head to the clinic, where they will not just fight for your fluffy's life, but fight properly, and not guess on a chicken's foot what could have happened to him.
Fight for yourself, if you did not just pretend all this time that you loved him, but today you preferred euthanasia, or simply betrayal, to treatment ...
Today I am writing this text, and next to me, curled up, running around during the day, our girl, our Martha, is sleeping and let us still have examinations and the fight against periodic attacks of allergic itching, the most important thing is done - she is alive and mobile, thanks to the zooangels of the Vetzooland clinic and personally to our new dear friend Gennady Petrovich Tchertopalov.
