Absolutely everything is amazing in this theater!
A very beautiful, grandiose and solemn building, comfortable spectator seats, friendly and courteous theater staff, a large stage equipped with a panel with well-readable subtitles and, of course, a highly professional, simply fantastic performance by actors and musicians.
The opera The Barber of Seville was performed in Italian with Russian subtitles.
With this mass of advantages, ticket prices are very affordable.
Many thanks to all the employees of the theater for the wonderful emotions and impressions!
"I am delighted with the new "Nutcracker" at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus!"
I visited the updated production of The Nutcracker at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, and it was just incredible! Everything – from the scenery to the choreography – is done at the highest level. Tchaikovsky's music performed by the orchestra was mesmerizing, and the dancers showed real skill. Each scene was filled with magic and a festive atmosphere.
Separately, I would like to note the work of the director and the artists – modern solutions are harmoniously intertwined with the classics, adding freshness without losing the traditional fabulousness. The hall, as always, impresses with its beauty, and the service leaves the most pleasant impressions.
I recommend everyone to visit! It's not just ballet, it's a real journey into the world of art and beauty. Thanks to the Bolshoi Theater for such a gift!
Very emotional! I liked everything!!! The prices are average, affordable, and I really liked the repertoire and performance. Before the concert, wartime songs were sung in the lobby, young guys... the voices are great, no words, I was very touched. The musicians were at their best, the conductor was changing his image, in the form of a headdress, shooting a scarecrow, generally lighting up. The concert is Tales of the Vienna woods, the opera singers are just great. The theater itself is beautiful, well-maintained, a theater with a history, beautiful and somehow bright! I recommend it to everyone! Atmospheric
We recently visited the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater in Minsk, and were absolutely delighted! This place simply fascinates with its beauty and atmosphere. The opera we watched was at such a high level that it was breathtaking! The artists dance and sing in such a way that it is impossible to look away. The costumes and decorations are simply gorgeous, you can see how much work has been put into every detail.
The theater hall itself is very comfortable, the acoustics are excellent, you can hear every note. The staff is polite and ready to help in any situation. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience! We will definitely come back here again and recommend it to anyone who loves art and wants to spend an evening in a luxurious setting.
A review by a Moscow theater-goer and art connoisseur.
Thank you so much for the theater and ballet!
It's a very beautiful, monumental theater. Ballet "Creation of the World" on March 14th. This is a rare production, a masterpiece of classics. Not everyone will put it up now and generally take the risk. The soloists are great! God, the devil, Adam and Eve are great hard workers and well done. I would especially like to note the attentive and precise work of the conductor and the orchestra!
I'm surprised that cardebalet was openly messing up, they must have been very nervous, especially the angels. But it didn't spoil the impression in any way.
We were at the Snow Queen - the most gorgeous production!
A huge, organic corpse.
Excellent stage engineering - we have seen solutions that we have not seen in other famous theaters.
All the foyers were occupied with interesting installations for both children and adults - we went through all the floors and took pictures everywhere with the whole Family.
The installations are rich and, at the same time, interesting. Full of details.
Regarding cafes, we can note that they are available on all floors. All are equipped with two types of tables - at which you can stand and at which you can sit.
The menu is standard for a good theater.
The theater sells interesting theater-related souvenirs - we bought for ourselves and the children :-))
We thank the Management, the Troupe and the Staff of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus!
We strongly recommend you to visit!
An academic and exemplary theater! The architecture of the building, the park area nearby and the performance of the opera. Everything is at its best. Even the audience is the same. With applause, flowers, and good manners. The prices at the buffet are pleasant and easy to raise . The theater is kept in perfect order. It feels like an asset of Belarus. From start to finish . The opera was great. The sound is clear, the soloists have invested 100% in the performance. There is a line of translation at the bottom of the stage during the opera, beautiful sound. For tall people, the distance between the chairs is quite good, they did not feel any embarrassment.Three hours of opera flew by unnoticed, but unforgettable. The solemn interior is at its best. Prices are available.Next time I would like to go on a tour of it, they say that there are 7 underground floors.
Timeless, elegant, amazing interior, elegant decoration, as always a stunningly beautiful building, courteous staff, high-end lighting and sound equipment! The only thing is the buffet, regardless of the name and aging of whiskey, the price is twice or three times higher than in expensive bars, the assortment is not bad for the theater, but it would be possible to refresh the list of dishes offered. Otherwise, everything is perfect, and the artists, and the staff, and the organization of performances, the orchestra is a masterpiece! — a great place for a truly cultural holiday!
Everything is wonderful, both the theater and the performance (ballet)- everything is at a high level. The organization of the staff at the entrance, everything is decent in the wardrobe, there is nothing to complain about. The only drawback that I noticed is parking. We arrived 35 minutes before the start, but they wouldn't let us in. People who arrived later were also not allowed in, citing a lack of seats, however, there were places))) And the selected cars were skipped. Nothing special, but considering the difficulty of parking near the theater, it's a bit unpleasant.
The premiere of the ballet "Dancing" and the harp competition.
The attendants of the theater are polite, create the necessary atmosphere of pleasant expectation. The 110₽ Proseco buffet adds to the mood.
The ballet production is enchanting.
In the lobby of the 2nd floor on the right, I recommend redoing the shabby plastic-aluminum screen, which was borrowed from the nearest shopping center, destroying the mirror-marble - stucco splendor of the halls. Have the oak and cabinetmakers run out in Belarus?
It was a beautiful theater, comfortable boxes, and it seemed to me that the view of the stage was unlimited from any location, and it was not stuffy. We were at the ballet "Corsair" on February 26. Good scenery and staging. I liked the performers of the roles of Medora and Ali the most, unfortunately, the physical form of other artists leaves much to be desired.. there are no feet, no hints of a curve, they will not reach the grand jet. The main troupe is weak. In general, since the expectations were not too high, I liked it, with one THING: very unpleasant auntie overseers. Who stood in a crowd during the intermission and discussed their personal problems. I tried to ask them what the names of the main actors were today, and received an answer in the style of "why don't you go, go look for yourself. And don't distract us, we're resting here."
It was my first time at a classical concert, and now I want to do it again and again. Very nice place, clean, beautiful, good staff, amazing artists, charming presenter, I really liked Vladimir Ovodok, we listened to the concert tales of the Viennese forest, well done! I advise everyone!
We visited the theater for the first time. A very monumental building with good acoustics. We visited the Flying Dutchman opera. I liked everything!
The only thing is, since the opera is in German, the translation was duplicated on a horizontal narrow screen at the bottom of the stage above the orchestra pit, which is not very convenient for the audience, in my opinion.
We were sitting on the 14th row of the stalls (there are 16 rows in total), and although there is a tilt in the hall, some of the audience rose slightly from their seats to read the text, causing inconvenience to the audience who were sitting behind them.
My favorite theater in Minsk. An amazing festive atmosphere, a beautiful monumental building, a wonderful troupe and a wonderful symphony orchestra. 3 weeks ago we attended the ballet "Romeo and Juliet". The Mari Opera and Ballet Theatre came to us on tour. I really liked the performance. But we were incredibly upset by the lack of an orchestra. The ballet dancers danced to the recording of musical accompaniment. We were so disappointed. Tickets were much more expensive than for the theater troupe, no one warned at the box office. The symphony orchestra accompanies the performance of the ballet dancers and helps not only to understand the meaning of the performance, but also to immerse yourself in the atmosphere. Very upset
I recently went to Onegin with my sister.
As always, I really liked it (my sister was delighted) . During the intermission , we looked into the buffet . After ordering her favorite Espresso and divine Bird's milk, the sister took a Honey Cake and Cappuccino.
Everything was wonderful.
It's just a pity that we didn't have time to buy tickets for the Nutcracker this time.
I advise everyone to go to the opera, ballet and visit the Bolshoi theater at least once in their lives.
I definitely advise those who will be in Minsk to go to the theater. You will be amazed by the interior of the theater. A huge hall, spacious wardrobes and a magnificent hall! The visual spaces are so well positioned that you can see perfectly from any place. We watched the ballet "Three Little Pigs", an unusual reading of a classical story set to music by a modern author. The ballet is light, with beautiful scenery and costumes. Duration is 1.5 hours with intermission. The small audience was involved in the action, the artists repeatedly interacted with the audience in the auditorium during the performance. The artists seemed to have become children themselves and played with pleasure. The gray wolf was beautiful, artistic, charismatic. If you come with children, go, you will like it. There are two wonderful buffets in the theater, the choice of snacks and drinks was pleasantly surprised. The price tag is average, much lower than the capital's Big Ones. I recommend a walk in the park around the theater, the square is large with several sculptural groups, well-maintained, many benches and flowers. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the metro station at a slow pace
It's a very beautiful place, we went to the Iolanthe Opera. Beautiful stage design, wonderful hall. We were delighted with the artists. I was embarrassed by the staff, they asked me to hang a fur coat on a hanger in the wardrobe (they had seen other people's fur coats before), and in response they received a not very flattering comment. When they left, they were surprised that 17 minutes after the end of the opera, everyone was simply dispersed, they were not allowed to take pictures in the hall and lobby, and they would be kicked out of the toilet. Maybe the staff was just rushing home, but it seemed wild to us.
I love our Bolshoi Theatre very much. It's beautiful, cozy, and has a good repertoire. Ticket prices can be chosen for any wallet, but they are generally quite adequate. Excellent repertoire and performers. I love Turandot.
In general, I recommend you to visit.
And of course an inexpensive buffet))
The theater is incomparable. A good repertoire. The lobby is clean, bright and large. A good buffet with reasonable prices. The artists play very well. Opera singers have good voices. It's a good gym. In general, the impressions are only positive. I advise you to visit this theater.
The theater building impresses with its architecture and design, and the atmosphere is interesting, considering that I did not live in the USSR.
We were on La Traviata.. debatable.. The music is good, there are no questions. The modernity of the production is embarrassing, the costumes... the scenery... the actions on stage... have been vulgarized greatly.
There are no questions about the buffet either))
Sparkling wine and cakes are good.
In general, the Minsk Theater is a good place to visit at least once.
Carmen's opera, music and orchestra are great. The opera is in French, but there is a running line with a translation. The opera is in 3 acts, not everyone sat down to act 3. The atmosphere of the theater is very pleasant, the staff is polite, there are no queues in the cloakroom, which is very pleasant, clean and the smell of the theater. There was a lot of smoke during the performance, many coughed, and it's hard for performers to sing in such smoke. In my opinion, the costumes and decorations are sad, especially for the main characters. The bullfighter's dance and costume were impressive.
The building itself is top!!! Majestic, beautiful, pompous. Security and staff, everything is fine. I liked being there. But we need to update the troupe.... Make way for the young.!!! Lisa is something in the Queen of Spades , anyway , I'm glad I visited. Opera is a classic!!! Thanks
A wonderful theater, beautiful interior, talented actors, good productions, excellent scenery, affordable ticket prices, in general, there are some advantages, everything is done to ensure that people are closer to art and culture, above all praise, I highly recommend visiting.
I recently visited the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. Opera the Snow Queen . I really liked. I liked everything without exception. It's a very beautiful place. Wonderful artists. I rested with pleasure. I recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place.
I love our theater, it's beautiful, cozy, comfortable, accommodates a large number of people without much effort. The prices at the buffet are quite normal, some types of alcohol are a little overpriced, but this is not a bar, but a theater. The atmosphere is very pleasant
The most luxurious theater in Belarus, very convenient Parking, attentive and caring staff. The interior of the theater will be remembered for a long time, and the repertoire is so extensive that even the most biased theater-goer will find content. The theater is a must-see.
The monumental building in the constructivist style, together with the adjacent square with a fountain, looks very majestic. Everything is conveniently arranged inside, the hall is comfortable and convenient for the viewer. It seemed to me that the acoustics of the hall were not very good, the sound was quickly dissolving. The chandelier in the hall is modest, does not distract the eye from the performance, as it happens)) there are several buffets in the lobby, the service is fast. Unfortunately, the production we attended, opera-ballet in one bottle, as it seemed, was not at the level of the Bolshoi Theater, the orchestra drowned out the voices of the soloists, and the props in the form of a huge canvas of rustling polyethylene, as I understand it, instead of fabric (at least this impression was created), did not allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the medieval plot) nothing, next time we'll choose another performance)
Interesting performances, a pretty beautiful theater, but the hall is not very conveniently designed, most places do not have a large enough slope to be visible, and if you are small, then there is a high probability that you will not see the floor of the stage at all, you can see better from the balconies, but you have to bend down to see the subtitles in the opera
Great theater. The staff is great and polite, the atmosphere is great too. The only drawbacks are the prices in the cafeteria. I was there at the Magic Flute opera, which is very interesting and I recommend it to everyone. The orchestra, sound and vocals are top notch
We were at the opera, we really liked it, the sopranos are separately pleased without screeching (the voices of the entire troupe are gorgeous). Tickets should be taken in advance, on the day of the performance the hall is full (for tourists who decide to go suddenly). Ticket prices are low, the buffet will be much more expensive. We were surprised and pleased by the ovation (well deserved) after the performance, the audience applauded for 3-4 minutes and did not run to the wardrobe. We will definitely visit again.
A large, beautiful theater. Convenient, comfortable, buffet, places to relax, poster. Clear. The staff is polite and correct. You can book tickets. You can buy receipts. It is always a pleasure to visit this place. A fountain in summer.
One of the most beautiful theaters in Belarus. The staff is very pleasant, the service culture is at the right level, which creates the right atmosphere. With the advent of Igor Kolb as a choreographer, the ballet company's repertoire has expanded with very interesting productions. We are happy to visit this theater. And we are looking forward to new productions!
Very beautiful outside and inside. Gorgeous chandeliers. Good buffet, fast service. I was in the chamber hall at the performance of the flute quartet. It's just a balm for the soul. The decoration of the hall is very tasteful, the chairs are more like armchairs, very comfortable. The large hall is decorated in red with gilding, chic, and that's all. I visit at every opportunity. There's a lovely coffee shop across the street. I always combine them.
Chic glitter beauty! The interior is beautiful and comfortable, the stage is clearly visible from almost any seat, and the atmosphere in the theater is inspiring. It's a very beautiful curtain. The ballet Giselle staged by BTB is a complete delight!
The territory near the theater is very beautiful. Especially in summer. A great place for walks, dates; romantic, memorable and wedding photos. The theater building creates an atmosphere of solemnity, celebration and beauty. The feeling of lightness does not leave the theater, the interior inspires, distracting from the mundane, leaving worries outside the walls of the theater. We watched and listened to the opera Carmen. Unfortunately, not to the end - I had to leave the last action, but I had a pleasant impression of everything I saw and heard. A great rest for the soul!
One of the most beautiful and significant buildings in the Republic of Belarus. The Center of Culture and High Art. Modern, expensive, beautiful. Everything is convenient, there is an elevator inside for people with disabilities. Professionals work. Wonderful artists. The costumes are amazing, the scenery is modern. The best orchestra. Thank you very much to everyone for their work, starting from the director and chief choreographer, conductor, troupe artists, artists, costumers, wardrobe workers, assistants and caretakers, cleaners.
This is certainly not a large theater in Moscow in terms of its scale, but it has a very pleasant, compact, and beautiful setting: an exhibition of costumes in the lobby. The room is very comfortable: we were sitting in the dress circle - everything was perfectly visible.
A very good repertoire for different ages. The stage and musical design of the performances is at a high level!
The performance of the artists immerses in a magical atmosphere and brings pleasure to parents and children.
It's a very nice big and beautiful theater, and it's not the first time I've been there. The hall is large, there are many seats, the stage is also large, the performances themselves are very well staged. Excellent staff, always helpful.
I went to Giselle, recently there was a premiere of Dancing (three one-act productions) and of course Swan Lake just sunk into my soul.
The stunningly beautiful theater! A real palace. A square, a fountain, a staircase - all this creates a magnificent ensemble. Even if you do not go to the performance, you must definitely watch this ensemble.
The foyer of the theater - white marble walls, floor and columns + crystal chandeliers create an impression of lightness and grandeur. Each tier has its own charms.
The prices in the buffet are quite affordable, there are a lot of tables, if desired, you can book a table for the intermission before the performance.
Theatrically cozy, but at the same time very beautiful "imperial" hall. The burgundy velvet of the chairs and the gold on the curtain are solemn. The hall is designed so that there are no "blind" zones. You can see the stage from all tiers very well. I walked around all the tiers on purpose)).
I watched the ballet "Don Quixote" - fervently, temperamentally, cheerfully.
Очень красиво, удобные кресла, несколько буфетов, красиво украшен к Новому году. Ходили на "Щелкунчик", версия понравилась, отличный балет от Мари, Принца и Дроссельмайера, но кордебалет на тройку.
Oooooh we love to walk! It's a very beautiful theater. Very cool productions! Decorations and costumes. And if you get on the tour, you won't regret it. A very cool guide who lives by this topic will tell you a lot of interesting things. Then the performances will look different!
The pearl of Minsk.Beautiful interiors for beautiful art.You should always drink a glass of sparkling wine at a local cafe to create a joyful mood.Be sure to walk through the halls and corridors in beautiful, elegant clothes and a great mood is provided :)
Undoubtedly 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars! We were in Minsk on vacation, we bought tickets in advance for the Swan Lake on October 9. The theater is beautiful, the staff is friendly, the buffet is decent, the ballet is on fire!!!! There were some asynchronies in the first scene, but it didn't spoil our impression of the action. The costumes are beautiful, the decorations deserve praise too. Orchestra👍💫 Thank you for a wonderful evening, positive emotions and vivid impressions and ! I definitely recommend it!!!
An unusual, majestic theater. It is magnificent, corresponds to the status of the capital. We watched Giselle, and the touching Elizaveta Musorina danced in the title role. The ensemble is wonderful, the orchestra is amazing (conducted by the Artist Makarov).
The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus is a beautiful and comfortable theater to visit. Beautiful interior and good atmosphere. But the repertoire and quality of the performances, in my opinion, is clearly inferior to what it was before.
