The territory of the hotel is not large by Dominican standards, but for me it is a plus. The territory of the European fours is about the same. I love when everything is within walking distance: food, beach, rooms, etc.Waiting for the shuttle at the bus stop to get to the dining room and eat, as in the neighboring hotel-city, is considered nonsense. In general, the place is good: the food is delicious, the parties are fun. The beach - white sand - does not heat up in the sun (the guide spoke about its organic origin), it is a pleasure to walk on it. The sea is clean, warm, there is one "but" - it's algae. These are sargas, they are cleaned throughout the day, but this does not have much effect. They form a small strip near the shore (usually from 8 to 15 m wide), you pass it and you find yourself in crystal clear water. There are no Sargasses in Cuba, but there is no Dominican service and entertainment in Cuba. Choose for yourself.

We had a rest in January 2022. I liked the hotel very much, everything is clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly, smiling and helpful. The food is super! For every taste, it is impossible to stay hungry. The territory is well maintained, lots of greenery. Not an intrusive animation. Well, as for the ocean, why we went, it's just fantastic!!! Vic Arena officially has 4 stars. For me, it's a three. I've never been in threes. But I'm sure it should work that way somehow.
From the good news: the beach is top. My wife chose this hotel at the expense of stardom because of the white sand. Well, OK, the beach is beautiful. The best on the entire coastline. That's for sure.
More than 90 percent of our Russians were there. It's like we haven't traveled anywhere. Like in Turkey, in short. The staff already knows Russian well. There will be no difficulties with communication. I'm actually quite a polyglot. Der cat jumped on der window.
Our fellow countrymen behave very decently. The cost of the trip affects. The wild ones don't come here at all. So you will not feel Spanish shame for your compatriots. No drunk people, everything is clear.
I just like places without ours to somehow try to learn a foreign language. And here you just don't need English or Spanish. Learn: ola, gracias, finita, aqua)))
The hotel is tired of the word at all. Well, there was a very modest renovation of the rooms. Fuck off, pure Dominican. We do road patching the way they refresh the rooms. I won't go into the wilds. You can live. I was in Puerto Plateau in 5 years, there are also the same modest rooms. To get into the level rooms, get ready to go to the list of hotels from the top 10. But there's a check starting at 350 for three people.
Do not take everyday moments with a broken refrigerator or a conder as a guideline. Some crybabies breed sad here, they break the rating of the hotel because of the little things. Just go to the lobby and remind yourself a hundred times.
Those who are married for the first time will definitely be delighted. The territory is green, there are plenty of palm trees both at the hotels and on the coastline. Girls love it.
The only thing that upset me was that, in my subjective opinion, the staff was a little tired and not as friendly as they could have been. I was in another place: they just always sincerely smile at you, wave their hands, shout ola, sing and dance (staff during work) It's such a thrill and the smile doesn't leave your face.
The animation is very modest. There is the same program for children every day. It's rotten enough for adults too. It saves that people are actively getting to know each other and trying to entertain each other with communication and rum. I do not recommend driving young people. It gets dark here already at 18 o'clock. There is almost no illumination in the hotel. Just booze on the ocean. The bar is open until 12. After 12, everything is turned off, the bars are closed, and the animation ends.
Queues at the bar are a separate story. No coffee machines, no check points with water or juices for children. All in one queue for swill and water. This is a know-how.
There's just a live queue in the bars here. The bartender does not choose who to serve. as it happens. No one leaves tips except for Europeans. Therefore, they won't even add lime to ours unless they are corrected.
I attribute all the inconveniences associated with queues to anti-covid measures. Therefore, I do not think that hoteliers maliciously complicate the lives of guests.
Alcohol is weak and not very tasty. You can drink it, but cocktails are purely based on syrups. No fruit. Light beer. Everyone buys rum in the store and uses it to avoid standing in queues. It is unrealistic to drink pure rum in a hotel. They pour the booze. More precisely, it's not pal, but it's a very cheap and tart something. In cocktails- the norm comes in)
Of the worthwhile trips to the Dominican Republic- Saona and waterfalls (where you need to climb and jump on them, I do not advise you to go to waterfalls with children radically).
An excursion to Santo Domingo is also popular. But I personally was not: since it takes 3 hours to get there from Punta Cana (everyone lies, which is less). I was sorry for the time. This is a minus day. But I haven't heard any particularly negative reviews about the trip.
It is better to take it from the officials. Yes, it is more expensive. But in case of anything, at least there will be an option with insurance. I would not go on self-made excursions: there the transfer is less comfortable and from the point of view of the organization there may be overlays. I'm for the topic: you don't need to spend 30 bucks on security. Well, for those who survived before the trip, think for yourself. I was not saved.
By the way, Haitians on the beach are selling a fishing trip. I was warned by 4 people that it was not worth it. Firstly, there was a case that people were not even given fishing rods. They offered to drink beer and watch who catches.
The other guys got fishing rods, but because of the peculiarities of fishing in the ocean, they just held on to the handrails so as not to fly overboard. Others were burned hard by the sun. I'm a fisherman, of course. But I didn't take any chances. Or I would go through popular services (I will not advertise, they are popular on Instagram). Or I would have gone through the officials, so as not to get fucked up.
On the beach (on the right) there is a shop owned by a Ukrainian woman (like Julia). The prices there are lower than in the official store of the hotel. A lot of people are talking about this store. Really, it's cheaper. You can buy small things cheap. But there are no normal cigars there. Cheap pal for cheap- there is. Magnets- plates and all that - are two times cheaper than the official ones.
The beach again. It's awesome and pays for all the possible disadvantages of the hotel. Clean, well maintained and picturesque. We were not surprised at all at Saona after this beach. It's a pity that the sellers of all sorts of cheap tours are too intrusive. Not like the beggars on the subway. But they just keep their eyes open and if they catch your gaze on themselves, they will definitely want to sell something. After 3 days, they overpowered me and I just learned the word know.
For alcohol that is not very expensive, you can go to the Jumba. This is a shopping mall
As a result, we became friends with a lot of wonderful people. And we realized one thing: what you came with - so you rested. If you look for disadvantages, you can find them in any little thing and spoil your vacation for yourself and your companions. Don't look everywhere for the truth, tune in to a high-flying, leisurely island vacation and everything will be OK.
I was on vacation with my daughter and my wife. I was great at this hotel. I would go to the top five again, of course. But I would not hate this hotel. Very normal. Especially for girls who want cool photos for instagram.
I would warn my fellow countrymen against buying illegal substances in order not to spoil their vacation and not to take risks. Everything is too intrusive and accessible in this regard.
For tea. I understand that the dollar-ruble exchange rate is quite high. But many of us go on vacation 1-2 times a year. I wish we weren't greedy with tips. It's just that the general image of russotourists here is this: greedy for tips, but sincere. In the morning, throw 1-2 bucks on the bed for cleaning - that's 20 bucks for a vacation. In a restaurant, give a cool waiter, or a waitress who looks after you, sings songs, whistles- give a couple of bucks at one of three meals. Depending on the intensity of alcohol consumption, you can drop a couple of bucks to the bartender. And the staff will have the mood and you will not be impoverished. It's so simple.
But they don't beg for tea here, that's why our people think they don't need to thank you. Don't expect top service from the Dominicans. Like: I was served for a long time and were not at the highest level, so I won't give anything. First, start thanking the staff. And then get a level of service. But there is no need to wait for a level here. It's like waiting for reliability and agility from a Priora.
Just 50-100 bucks that you will spend on thanking the staff for the rest time is 7 thousand at the current exchange rate. This is to go to pyaterochka twice. Or have lunch at the airport twice. But you will do something useful for the staff and for yourself. Because the giver is always remembered. Don't think that this is charity going nowhere.

We had a family vacation at the hotel from 11/20/21. 26 in the morning at 6.45-7.00 in the hotel restaurant, my phone was stolen while I was standing in line for scrambled eggs. They refused to show the recording from the cameras, they said that it could be seen on the recording that I was wearing a red T-shirt, but the phone was not visible...Although I wasn't wearing a red T-shirt at all that day! I drove to the police for my money ($35 round trip), explained the situation, wrote a statement, they said that they were obliged to show the cameras! They offered to come with a representative of the hotel to explain to him that the cameras are obliged to show me. I returned to the hotel and showed them the letter from the police, so they wanted to scare me at first that we would go to communicate with security... I agreed, the manager called somewhere, and then said that I could do anything, but no one would go with me, cameras would not be shown to me and I could take a taxi to the police as much as I wanted. Going outside the hotel is undesirable and, in principle, there is nowhere in the vicinity, only as part of proven travel agencies to historical sites. Daily entertainment, sports events, concerts, contests, disco, volleyball, tennis, billiards, etc. Bars with alcoholic beverages are so-so, except for local food, sometimes not fresh beer, wine, there is nothing else in the all-inclusive system. The nature is simply fabulous, white sand, palm trees, seagulls, flamingos, Saona Island, a natural pool along the Caribbean coast with starfish, etc.

A beautiful beach, the best on the coast!!!!! This is the main trump card of the hotel. I will not judge the service, food, and room stock, since before that I had been in premium hotels in the UAE, Turkey, and of course this hotel is inferior to them. But it is very important to note that there is no prejudice against guests, there are no favorites, they treat everyone kindly, they will not serve Germans or British, and this is great. The animation is poor, but don't judge strictly, that's not why they come here. Pink sunrises, white sand, turquoise ocean, strange birds, tropical plants. Here you want to stare at nature and retire in silence. Everything else is superfluous. By the way, pools with sea /ocean water. There are higher-level hotels, but not everyone has such a paradise beach!!!!!!!

I'm not happy with the hotel. I especially didn't like it : 1. Problems with hot water (often only cold water comes from the tap). 2. The food is not very good. Little fruit, little tasty. The tables in the restaurant are served very slowly.

Hello everyone In October, my wife and I vacationed at this hotel. We liked everything, the rooms are clean, the air conditioning and fan save us from the heat, Wi-Fi in the room was free, in the lobby is also free. The location of the hotel is very convenient, it takes about 25 minutes to drive from the airport. It is also very convenient to go on excursions, this is an unavoidable plus. The beach is just around the corner from the room, the beach is clean, unlike other neighboring 5* hotels, in our hotel it is cleaned of garbage and algae every day. Everything is quiet and measured, there are always free sunbeds on the beach, and you can always sit freely by the pool. The hotel has 4 restaurants and several grill bars, bars with drinks, all of them are naturally free, like everything else)) The food is delicious and varied, I especially liked the WOK, and my wife literally called the dish "group fish"-I don't know what that means)), but in fact some kind of fish and of course fruits, in particular incomparable pineapples. Everything else was delicious too. Of all the restaurants, the Alyakard restaurant near the lobby, which we called the dining room, especially fell into my soul)). There is a grill bar near the pool, where I make insanely delicious pizza and burgers no worse than Timothy's =)).
All the staff are friendly and positive, constantly dancing and singing)) Every evening there is a new entertainment program from the animation team for vacationers in the amphitheater. Every day there is animation by the pool and various games such as darts, etc. Periodically there was a disco on the beach.
In general, we strongly recommend this hotel.

It takes about 40 minutes to get from Punta Cana airport to the hotel. Check-in at 16:00. The room stock is good, although not new. The room is cleaned perfectly. It takes 1-5 minutes to walk to the ocean (depending on the location of the building). The food in the restaurants is delicious, but monotonous. There are a la carte restaurants. They have seafood and other delicious dishes that are not available in a regular restaurant. Lots of cocktails, no beer as always. 2 large saltwater pools. I didn't like the animation. You can't see her, you can't hear her. Shows come a couple of times a week. The staff is friendly.

A solid excellent four, the only thing that falls short of the five is the lack of WiFi in the room (there is only in the lobby), the lack of slippers and bathrobes and a pay safe. Great hotel. A wide beach. There are fewer algae on the shore, compared to neighboring hotels. The pool was made 2.5 m deep. There is a lot of shade on the territory of the hotel - do not burn out. Food for the 4-star level - justifies itself - varied every day.
One drawback: over time, sellers are already getting bored with their excursions and other "buy-buy-buy". I didn't come to shop, but to relax - so I immediately developed immunity to them.

We stayed at the hotel from February 15 to 27, we liked everything. We were scared by the guide that the staff does not speak Russian and needs an online translator. Everyone understood each other better than in Turkey.The only negative is the guide Svetlana from Pegasus.She and I felt like students in class.She did not let us say a word, did not answer questions, lost interest in us immediately when we refused to buy excursions from her on the first day.

An average hotel. Rooms are cleaned very slowly. Balcony doors do not close from the inside. Tolerable. If you come to nlmer only to spend the night, and not to live there, it is quite enough. Good and varied cuisine. But Wi-Fi is just a problem. The access point is the same at the reception. In the evening (and sometimes in the afternoon) there is darkness, and the connection is barely there....
