Viking 5 Hotel is located in the center of Kemer. There are many retail stores nearby. The territory of the hotel is small, there is a good pool. It's all clear. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea, the beach is pebbly.

I don't know who puts stars at all, but this is not a five, but at best 3 with a slight stretch.
Dirty, dilapidated, old, the staff does not understand you mostly, they clean poorly, coffee and much more is paid, there is no bottled water freely, only 2 bottles per day for 0.5. The rest of the water is from the cooler, which does not inspire confidence.
The beach is far away, 10 minutes on foot. Everything is paid on the beach, there is no snack and even elementary water for free!!!
We rested with a child, it is generally inconvenient to return for lunch to eat.
But near the pool, at the hotel, they give tolerable (not delicious), but although fries, burgers and cookies can be eaten, the assortment is bad, I have not seen vegetables and fruits on the snack.
I do not advise you to go to this hotel at all, you will be disappointed and your vacation will be ruined like our first three days, I even cried. Upon arrival, we were given a room with a dirty crib for the baby and a lack of proper cleaning!!! It is not clear what kind of renovation they are writing about in 2024!!!! Changing the light bulbs is not a renovation, so for your information!!!
The remaining 7 days we were just trying to find some advantages, and these are definitely mountains and the sea.
That's all. The food was sometimes tolerable, but very meager, budget-friendly. You can eat something, but I rested even in 4 rooms and there was more choice and my eyes ran away what to eat, but this was not far away!!!!
Another pensioner hotel, it did not bother us, but there is nothing for young people to do there!!!
Another terrible moment is that the staff cleans the pool at 01.00 at night and does not even respond to you and your requests!!! The mosque wakes up every day at 4-5 in the morning, in general, this is a survival quest and not a hotel. Do not relax, eat delicious food, or enjoy the territory, there is no territory at all!!!
Children's animation is half an hour of dancing and that's it.
They give out 1 card per room, this is a separate inconvenience!!!
The baby's diaper was taken from our room along with the bed and no one was even honored to return it or find it.
The safe is paid.
As a result: the rest is spoiled in terms of atmosphere, tranquility, comfort, etc.
The sea and the mountains decided everything.
In no case spoil your vacation!!!
By the way, there are a lot of Germans and they are quite friendly, like many old people in this hotel, this is a plus!!!

The weather was great, it rained once in the evening, but the next morning it was sunny, not hot in the afternoon, cool in the evening, good. The sea is very warm, one day there was a strong wind and stormy weather, we swam in huge waves, it was very cool. The second beach with a transfer from the hotel was no longer serviced, the mini club, darts were also closed at the hotel, the pool outside was already cold, live music and a disco for adults 2 times a week from animation. There is nothing for children. The indoor pool was cold - after a good sauna and hammam, it's nice to take a dip, but no more. Turks come to rest on weekends, a lot of pensioners. The food is excellent, even the delicacies - anchovies, red fish, excellent desserts, pumpkin with nuts especially. For a snack, burgers, French fries, cookies. They feed practically all the time. The rooms are good, cleaning is daily, I would love to return to this hotel.

You can ask for a bathrobe. Towels are provided downstairs at the pool house. The territory is only a swimming pool on the street. They say it's heated, but except for the Swede, no one swam. 1. Reception. Russian-speaking polite girls settled us almost immediately in the room. We were previously invited to breakfast. Wi-Fi is only in the lobby and very weak, but they write about it everywhere and it was not a surprise. It will definitely be enough to send messages via messenger. Important! If you buy the Internet, it only works on one device. You will not be able to distribute it.
2. The lobby. The lobby is cozy. Lots of upholstered furniture. I am writing a review, just from a luxurious sofa. There are two elevators, a bar, and a restaurant on the ground floor. There are many exits to the pool.
3. The restaurant. There are always places, the range of dishes is optimal. The breakfast menu is standard. Tortillas are offered for lunch (separately on the street). They come with vegetables, meat, cheese. For dinner, they always cook something separately on the street. I would especially like to mention the amazing grilled lamb cutlets. Snacks are available from 14:30 to 17:00 by the pool. These are French fries, nuggets, onion rings, burgers (you pick them yourself), something similar to pizza. We haven't tried it. Hookahs cost $15.
4. Alcohol. Decent beer, good wine. We have not tried other alcoholic beverages. important! Water is offered to be poured from coolers. No bottles. Only if for a fee. The water is delicious 😽
5. The atmosphere. Very nice guests at the hotel. No screaming drunken incomprehensible citizens. Maybe they are, but we didn't notice 😝
6. Animation and program. I went to yoga in the morning, and aqua aerobics before lunch. Very cool Olesya is satisfied with all this. Every day there are "Darts tournaments" at the pool bar, later water polo, in the evening, except Sunday, there is always movement.
7. Beaches. One (pebble) beach is within walking distance. 15 minutes walking distance. Another (sand and pebbles) beach is a shuttle from the hotel several times a day. It takes about 5 minutes to drive.
8. Service. I always talk about what is needed!!! leave tips for the maids. Today, for 50 liras, we received an ultralaxerisuper cleaning service. The women clean very nice.
9. The room. We got room 249 on the second floor. The balcony overlooks the mountains and the mosque. Yes, you can really hear her very well in the morning. But, it wasn't a problem for us. The air conditioner works well, there is a refrigerator, a lot of clothes hangers in the closet, dryers for things on the balcony. Mattresses help you fall asleep quickly. There are blankets in the closet. The bathroom is replenished with: shower gel, shampoo, soap, cotton buds, cotton pads, shower caps. There is a lot of space in the shower cabin, the water is well regulated.
10. Spa. On the minus ground floor there is a spa salon. They offer a lot of things. Our choice was a foot massage for 30 minutes. Like it. Two massages at the same time - $ 40. The prospectus shows a different price. But, a friendly man gave us a discount. Asking for a discount is OK.
11. What's next. If you leave the hotel to the right, then this is the road towards all the entertainment, shops. To the left there are also shops, but the street is quieter. We didn't go far. Freshly squeezed juice is prepared on the streets. 25 lire 300 ml of orange juice. There is a bus stop near the restaurant tower (to the right of the hotel). Next to the hotel there is a souvenir shop-bazaar with an interesting selection of tea. A restaurant is open 24/7 right in front of the hotel entrance. At midnight we wanted to eat and we went there. For 250 lire, they brought us a plate of lentil soup (delicious!) and a shawarma with mutton. The price tag is perfectly acceptable considering that this restaurant is next to the hotel.
12. About money. Our guide offered to exchange rubles for lira (4 to 1). You can even transfer it to a ruble card with a ruble one. If you have dollars with you, you can change them at the post office. There is a profitable course there. The post office is located next to the hotel. MIR and other cards issued in Russia are not accepted. There are many different ATMs, but it is better to check with the guide separately about them. We weren't interested.
13. Shopping. From the hotel (free of charge) you can go on a two-hour hike through the mall. I don't remember the name. Before that, you definitely need to stop by a leather goods store. We decided to go to the M5 Migros shopping center ourselves. Bus 08 departs from the stop at the white tower restaurant. The fare costs 60 liras per person. Payment at the exit. The price tag for things is ordinary. Dollars are accepted for payment. Brands that have left Russia are in abundance.
14. Market on Mondays. The market is located next to the hotel. It is designed for vacationers and locals. You can buy: shoes and clothes, butter, sauces, spices, tea, coffee, sweets, vegetables, fruits. There are several tents with fresh seafood and fish. If desired, it will be prepared for you on the spot. It opens in the morning and closes around 19:00.

IT'S JUST WONDERFUL!!!!!! We had a rest with a friend from May 13 to 24, 2023 at the Viking Star Hotel. Everything was great.We arrived at the hotel at 1 a.m. checked in on the 4th floor In the morning we asked for another room with a view of the pool, we were also provided with it! The restaurant is very tasty, grilled chicken kebab, turkey, fish every day.The Chef himself met the vacationers daily.I especially want to mention the Animation.The girl Alesya, who turns all tourists on with her enthusiasm, is beautiful like a BARBIE Doll!!! Room cleaning every day, shampoo, shower gel,soap,slippers were provided upon request.Every Wednesday is a Turkish night, very beautiful.The staff is friendly, everyone is smiling!!We'll eat again in September. I really liked the hotel!!!!

The hotel as a whole is not bad, the hotel staff is friendly, and the staff of the bars and, say, the spa is not very friendly. They give you towels once a day, and you have to dry the towels in the room, because after lunch it's not good to go with a wet towel! In the bar in the evening, the programs are good, but they may refuse to pour alcohol at the bar, not because you drank, but as it seemed to them, you take a lot to the table, but if we are sitting with friends and someone came up and asked for 3 beers, this is not what we drink ourselves, but you take for company. There was constant swearing. The food is modest, the 5* rating is too high, even the Turks who came to us said a maximum of 3*
So think about it, I have not seen such an attitude of the Turks towards us Russians anywhere. My advice is not to take this hotel.

Viking's social projects are at your expense. Groups of local pensioners and child athletes are accommodated in the hotel. As a result, there are crowds in the dining room and dirt even in the off-season.
The maids are bursting at the Do Not disturb sign at any time of the day, even if it is 8 a.m. Wi-Fi in the room and a safe are paid. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the pebble beach, the toilets and changing rooms are badly killed, on the sandy beach Viking Garden is even better, but it's 4* for a minute.
The food is more or less, but I don't remember anything really tasty except turkey kebabs.
There is no sound insulation in the rooms at all, you can hear everything the neighbors say, you will not be able to sleep because of snoring. Well, the mosque with local roosters will provide you with a lift at 05:30 :)
Of the advantages, I note a gorgeous view from the corner rooms on the 3rd floor, a balcony of 10 meters with sun loungers.
Summary: the hotel is actually 3+*, not 5*.
