The museum is located in a residential building on the ground floor on the street of Warriors Internationalists. The museum's exposition is very interesting and informative. Although the museum is small, it preserves the memory of the Afghan war and those who went through it.

On the ground floor of an apartment building. An excellent museum, in a small square, optimal, specific information about Afghanistan and our guys. The Great Hall of memory of all the heroes of Vitebsk region. They are alive as long as we remember them and as long as there are people who work in this museum.

A couple of kilometers from the center of Vitebsk, away from the hiking trails, in a quiet courtyard, lost among the high-rise buildings, there is a museum dedicated to the internationalist soldiers. Three small halls are located on the ground floor of an apartment building.
It all started in 1995 with a single hall, created to honor the memory of soldiers and officers from the Vitebsk region who died in Afghanistan.
The museum has a solid collection of personal belongings, awards, weapons, and various items related to the 1979-89 military conflict. Portraits of young people, quotes from letters, "funerals"... There is also a fragment of a bulletproof vest in which one of the people from the black-and-white photographs died while doing his duty.
A wonderful museum where the memory of people is cherished, where you can see with what love everything was created.
