On 08/18/2024, I visited the ViTo shoe salon at 69 Kuibyshev str., Minsk, which I regret very much. I wanted to buy semi-boots / sneakers of a mixed type (combining casual and formal business style). Due to the peculiarities of my feet, it is quite difficult for me to choose shoes, so the process can take a long time: I measured almost everything suitable, about 2 hours.
Everything would be fine, but I was very surprised by the "remark" (or what to call it, I don't know) of the seller that "we have an online store where you can see all the models" with a hint that I have been choosing shoes for too long. I wonder how else a customer who came to the store himself should choose his goods, especially shoes? This statement made me feel very uncomfortable. In the end, I chose half-boots, but, unfortunately, the happiness was short-lived: after the first hours, the socks turned into the color of the lining, on the second day it was the same.
As a result, on August 25, 2024, I went to take a previously purchased pair of shoes back to the store, at the same time I took evidence, because there is no other way to explain the staining. As a result, the seller responded to my claim that it was allegedly a "natural color". I asked him to explain what it means. They repeated to me that this is a "natural color" and there is no marriage. Then they asked why I brought hosiery and show them here. I replied that this was physical proof of marriage, but the seller said that "we do not have an investigation here to present physical evidence." They agreed that I would write a statement, and after the examination everything would become clear. Why they didn't immediately tell me to write a statement is a big question.
A few days later, the examination was carried out, the marriage was confirmed. I have come to issue a refund. He noted that I was still right, and such a large area of color is a marriage, but I was told the opposite. To which they replied that "we never assert anything."
On 08/28/2024, I went to another ViTo store on 104 Dzerzhinsky Ave. (Titan shopping center). There are no service issues for this outlet: the consultants immediately understood my request, offered relevant models, and were friendly. As a result, buying shoes took not 2 hours, but 20 minutes. The difference is palpable. I express my sincere gratitude to the consultants who worked on 08/28/2024 at this facility, and ask the management to encourage them. They have always worked flawlessly at this facility, which is pleasing. But now, I decided to go to the salon at Kuibyshev 69. I still regret it. So far, only two!
I appeal to the management of ViTo shoe salons in Minsk: now the customer orientation of sales consultants is of key importance. My experience shows that in some ViTo retail facilities in Minsk this requirement is fully respected, while in others it is violated. I recommend that the managers of the facilities take this into account when recruiting staff, so that there are no situations when the client (I) who chose these stores returns to the times where the seller is the king and God, and the client is nobody. There should be mutual respect, a balance of interests of both the client and the seller.
