The road to the grotto is about 500 meters.
In the heat, it is better to visit this place early in the morning, when there is no scorching sun. There are places along the way where you can sit in the shade, but when you go uphill, it's hard not to hide from the sun. There is a river running along the route and there is a waterfall next to which you can swim, there is a place for changing clothes👌🏻
Entrance is paid and parking is nearby too.

Beautiful nature, quiet places for prayers in the gorges, a service is going on in one of them, as a person who is not particularly attached to the church, it seemed very divine to me... well, just walking from the shade- next to a mountain river- is impressive!

An interesting place in New Athos. This structure was built by monks and used as a refrigerator for food supplies. The water makes a pleasant noise and creates a relaxing aura.
