I was visiting my aunt (she turned 97 in November 2024) in Taraz for 2 weeks. I bought groceries only in the Basket. The assortment is sufficient, the prices are lower than in the shops nearby. Fresh dairy products, meat, bakery and confectionery products, sauces, canned food, hygiene products and household chemicals - everything can be bought. As a suggestion, I can suggest dividing the butter and the spread, since in order to buy butter without adding vegetable fats, I had to read the composition on each pack, they lie mixed together. I had a problem at the checkout twice - the cashier did not understand Russian, and I do not speak Kazakh - I had to switch to another cashier.

Of the entire Basket store chain, this one has a large area and a wide assortment. Cons: as usual, one ticket office is open during rush hours, the staff are not particularly polite. Merchandising suffers on all points in the trading floor. Promotional "hot" products do not always have price tags. That is, to find out the price, you need to stand in line and only then decide whether it is profitable for you to make this purchase.

A large selection of products. One of the few baskets that really has a lot of fresh food and a large selection of goods. The prices are relevant and affordable. There are regular promotions for everyday goods. Well, the big plus of the vegetable department is always a good selection of fruits and vegetables.
