While in Pitsunda, we ate mostly here. Delicious, great selection, prices are not expensive. In general, Abkhazia is surprised by the fact that the same dish in different cafes and canteens can look completely different and taste completely different. I don't remember any special surprises in this regard. My child, for example, loves Caesar salad with chicken and orders it almost everywhere - yes, here it is not the same as in our standard cafe in Russia, but in general it is OK (without enthusiasm, because the child had other expectations). They ordered it in another cafe nearby - it was very spicy, it is impossible for a child to eat. All the food here, which (judging by the name) should be suitable for children, is suitable for children. There is a separate "hall" for non-smokers, a Playground. But there are also conditions for smokers without children, a large territory.
Of the cons: sometimes you have to stand in line to get here (but this confirms that many people like it), there is no Wi-Fi, the playground used to be good, now it needs repair (but children can be occupied, in most other places there is no such opportunity).
Just from the moments (not a plus and not a minus): the food is not only here, but simply in Abkhazia as a whole is not the same as in Russian cafes (except for some very simple pancakes, scrambled eggs), even if the name matches. Don't expect that.
Among the dishes, I can single out a hodgepodge in Abkhazian, a khachapur boat (these two, it seems to me, are the standard things to try in Abkhazia), a honey cake (just delicious, and here it seems to be the most familiar).

We rested with our family in Pitsunda for 3 weeks. When choosing a place to eat, we focused on ratings and reviews of establishments.... and did not lose... The Yummy Cafe is just an oasis of delicious homemade food, very fast service and very friendly and polite waitresses! You will always see a queue at this cafe, but believe me, your expectations will be met, and you will not have to wait long, maximum 10 minutes.
It is a very beautiful place, everything is divided into smoking and non-smoking areas.
And now about the food...We tried almost all the menus, we were at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Porridges, pancakes,soups,main courses, homemade dumplings and dumplings,shish kebab,fish,desserts, lots of drinks....everything is VERY tasty and large portions! The average cost of lunch for 3 people first + second is 2,000.
We highly recommend everyone to visit this cafe!
We lived on Cypress Alley and had a choice among many cafes, but apart from the "Yummy" I didn't want to go anywhere!

The cafe is Delicious, a super cafe, although it is called a dining room.. Throughout the rest, we ate only there. The prices are affordable, the portions are large, the food is cooked right from under the knife (as they say) and everything is very tasty! The staff is friendly and helpful! We were here in August 2024. The food is delicious, the dishes are hot, and the waiters are mostly polite. However, during rush hours, more often at lunch, queues line up at the cafe, sometimes you have to stand for 10-15 minutes. Of the dishes, I especially liked khachapur with eggs, I recommend it! The borscht was also good, and the pasta. The prices are basically affordable. Of the disadvantages, I note the lack of a toilet, it is only across the street and paid.

We visited Pitsunda, took a clean walk, swam in the sea, saw the sights, naturally wanted to eat. We accidentally saw the Yummy canteen, went in and did not regret it once. Tables in gazebos are interestingly located, there is a smoking area. the tables are clean, the menu was brought quickly, the choice of dishes is varied. The order was brought first to the men by the Abkhazian solyanka, then to us, we could not believe our eyes, the dish in the pan bubbled and sizzled, continuing to cook, hot and very tasty. Khachapuri was also brought, only baked, the dishes were prepared when ordered, and not previously cooked ones were heated. The tea was fragrant and hot. In general, we were very satisfied with both the food and the service, I recommend everyone to visit this dining room.

The best cuisine in the whole of Pitsunda. Don't look at the status of the dining room, it's delicious in a restaurant. Everything is fresh!!! There is everything from the menu, the first courses are fragrant, pastries, breakfasts, meat. We came to eat delicious food here. All other establishments with a minus.
During rush hour (lunch and dinner) there is a queue, because the tables are all occupied. But it's worth the wait👍👍👍 The prices are average, the portions are huge.

We were there this year. They came to this institution on the recommendation of a local vacationer. It is located successfully, there is no need to search. The food is delicious in principle, but the dish in the pot is satisfactory - first of all, it is half cold. Secondly, the vegetables seemed to have been frozen over. I had to re-order khachapuri - something that is almost impossible to spoil. The rest are fine. The service is neutral, on the verge of a claim - why did we come here! Maybe, of course, something happened to all of them (God forbid), but what does the visitors have to do with it? The waiting time is 7-10 minutes, good. Payment is in cash only. There is something like a playground for children in the backyard - good.

We lived in Pitsunda for 20 days and chose a delicious meal from all the canteens and cafes! Very tasty, fast and excellent service, large portions and prices adequate to the resort. Be sure to try their dumplings, soups and of course the main meat dishes. For those who are not satisfied with pasta - guys, well, we are not in Italy-take national or simple homemade dishes. All with love and respect for the guests. That's why there are always a lot of people here!)

The prices are higher than in the dining room, but lower than in other cafes and there is no 10% service fee. The menu is varied, the dishes are served quickly, sometimes something from the menu was not available, the waiters are polite, efficient. Payment is in cash only. During all the visits we took: borscht with meat (more like cabbage soup, a large portion), lettuce, stuffed peppers, hodgepodge (I really liked it. Then they took it separately with buckwheat, it was delicious), but the tobacco film turned out to be withered (obviously overexposed in the oven, I do not recommend it). The rest is delicious and wonderful!

I took pilaf - you can say porridge with meat, edible, vats - the feeling of separately cooked meat in a pot and vegetables, pancakes with cottage cheese - there is little filling, the taste is no higher than 4, carbonara paste - for an amateur, I did not really like it. Compared to similar establishments, I recommend the price.

I do not share my enthusiasm about the kitchen. The dishes are slightly higher than the dining room, but they don't even reach just home cooking. There is no solyanka. Khachapur costs more than in a restaurant in Krasnaya Polyana or Moscow. At the same time, the level of homemade cooking is no more.. Fat to the point of horror.
Yes, it's satisfying. But for three people, 2500rubles is clearly too much.
In the resort of Kislovodsk, for this money, you can really sit in a restaurant and get a completely different quality of dishes and, accordingly, emotions from the event...
Although what can you expect from the Abkhazian service?
The cherry on the cake is a boorish waitress who thinks it's okay not to give change in small things (10-50₽). Moreover, as usual, the service is 10% automatic.

Minus-there is no toilet, we had to go across the street, it didn't scare us because the food was delicious. Arriving in 2021, everything remained the same, the food is delicious, there is no toilet, the interior has not changed. And in 2024, the food also deteriorated (disgusting cuisine, respectively, we did not return there anymore and will never go. Now the yummy cafe is not yummy at all. The interior has not been updated for 9 years, there is still no toilet. We do not recommend it. The authority gained over many years has deteriorated considerably.

My daughter does not like coriander, and when ordering, we did not know what was added to the dumplings. My daughter somehow ate two pieces and set them aside. The waiter immediately asked what was the matter, maybe it wasn't tasty. They explained that they did not like herbs. My parents had a rest in 2023, found this dining room and ate only here, in 2024 they came to Pitsunda again and without a second thought went only here, the kitchen is delicious, the staff is responsive and kind, at 18:00 they start making shish kebab, I advise everyone very tasty, definitely solid 5!!

For the 4th year we rest in Pitsunda and go to lunch at this cafe. And every year there are disadvantages compared to the previous year. I always ordered Caesar salad with shrimp, my favorite salad. This year the price has remained the same, but for some reason they added mussels to this salad, which I can't stand, and there are no mussels anywhere in this salad. Why did you ruin the salad??? It would be better to just change the price. And other dishes were also tried to reduce the cost. And it didn't taste so good.
