Perhaps one of the few cafes in New Athos where you can safely eat, and most importantly, it is one and a half times cheaper than in other places. Modern design, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, clean and tidy. The menu is not very rich, but you can order everything from it safely. Meat dishes, such as, for example, chops (chicken and pork) are fresh, you can safely take, which cannot be said about other cafes. The pot and trout in foil are delicious. The potato casserole is delicious, but it's not really a casserole in our understanding, but rather pieces of potatoes in a rustic way, sprinkled with cheese and baked in the oven. It would be worth changing the name of this dish on the menu. French fries are just what you need, not fried like in other places. Khachapuri and a boat for a solid four. The waitress is happy to serve quickly. The bill can be paid with a bank card. In general, I advise everyone.
I really enjoyed having breakfast here. Delicious pancakes with cottage cheese. Meat in Abkhazian is also super, but it goes without a side dish. Oriental coffee is also excellent. I also liked the Abkhazian hodgepodge - it has a lot of meat and is hearty. Honey cake is delicious, but a little dry. The prices are pleasant. There is a card payment.
Great cafe! We lived right next to him. We took something new every day. Delicious, at the same time inexpensive, trout. The barbecue is also great. There was no dish that I didn't like. There is an opportunity to sit both indoors under air conditioning, and outdoors in a gazebo, or at a secluded table. The prices are acceptable, the taste is excellent.
A normal cafe. The interior is normal. There are not many cafes in New Athos that do not look like a dining room with benches. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi. No additional payment is added to the bill for the service. Friendly staff. The prices are slightly higher than in the dining room "Central" next door.
We ordered a chicken burger with an ice cutlet and tasteless pilaf.
Khachapuri is completely raw and small, it is not worth ordering at all.
It is better to go to a stall nearby and buy pies.
I don't know who gives this cafe five stars, because it's a disgusting place! The waitress's attitude is terrible, the food is just pork slop. We waited a very long time. Chicken noodle soup - salt and boiled noodles (as in a cheap canteen); feijoa compote is something diluted with tap water (thanks, I can pour myself water without money) a boat with an egg - everything that can and cannot be spoiled is spoiled! The dough is mediocre, sour; the cheese does not stretch at all, it just lay in a piece, and the egg - with the protein - was almost cooked! Considering that this dish implies a stretching cheese and a liquid one YOLK! A woman not far from us complained about the dish, to which the waitress simply grunted and answered rudely, then handed it to some woman in Abkhazian and they began to loudly discuss it. It's ugly to say the least.
Learn how to cook!
Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by this cafe around 18:00, were off the road and, accordingly, did not eat anything in the morning, ordered: I am soup and burger, Feihua compote, husband kharcho and burger too, tangerine juice (hello to the staff, I hope you found out!). So, today, more precisely, since the night we HAVE BEEN DIVIDING the TOILET BY THE FLOORS, WE HAVE NOT HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE POISONING FOR A LONG TIME, it is pouring literally from all the cracks, the temperature is 39! As a result, we have to lie in the room for the rest of our vacation, it's a shame, however, the citizens of the cook, why poison people....
We visited in August 2021, affordable prices, delicious homemade food, but we were upset by Khinkali, which is not very convenient to eat (we hoped for better quality). The noodle soup is delicious, the crab salad is also, but the portion seems small, the cabbage rolls have a slightly cloying taste, it seems like a semi-finished product, but probably it's because of the spices, but the khinkali was most upset, of course, it tastes delicious, but it looks sad.
A great place where you can have a good and cheap snack where the portions exceed expectations where the wine is just super friendly staff and beautiful nature
disgusting food, they ordered cream soup, but they brought you don't understand what. The honey cake was with pieces of plastic and bitter, and the limoncella turned out to be vodka with dye.

I really liked the cafe!!! Five plus, they cook delicious, the prices are not expensive and at the same time the staff works at the highest level, the girls are well done. In general, the cafe is of a good level!!!
I really liked the kebabs, and the khachapuri (boat) is just great, and the dough and the filling!
Today, 09/23/2022, visiting New Athos, we went to have a snack at the Volna cafe, ordered two cups of coffee and two baklava, the cashier announced the amount of 400 rubles, paid with a card, when we left for an excursion, we saw that the amount of 1085 rubles was withdrawn from the card, please return the excessively withdrawn money.
We took pizza and coffee. The food is normal, The complaints are only to the staff. It was useless to call the waitress, so he always came to the bar himself: when the sugar bowl was needed, when it was necessary to clean the sugar bowl so that sugar fell from it (they offered to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a joke or rudeness he did not understand), when it was necessary to pay off. In general, this is not a customer-oriented place.
Pleasant environment. Reasonable prices. The food is very tasty. Payment by card. Polite staff.
We tried to eat in other cafes, but it's definitely better in the wave. Five stars!!!
We had breakfast there only once - an omelet in vegetable oil, pancakes are just all in lard and butter, and cheesecakes are just little crumpets - there is no cottage cheese at all, purely to fill people's bellies, and the prices are low of course, but the food too
Hominy is excellent, located next to the cave.
The prices are fine, coffee and barbecue are on fire.
I recommend you to visit.
There is a fire after the tour.
While relaxing in New Athos, we passed the Volna cafe several times during the day. And almost all the tables were always occupied. My husband and I decided to have dinner. The staff is polite. Pot roast and salad like "olivier" -well, such a thing (baked trout is delicious. The hot stuff was served at different times, so by the time they brought me the fish, the pot had already cooled down. We tried the national.the Abkhazian dish is a type of pasta made of nuts with cabbage, spicy, we liked it
a delicious and pleasant cafe, the prices are extremely reasonable. there is Wi-Fi, a restroom, and a pleasantly equipped eating area. without unnecessary details, stupid signs and annoying music. I recommend it!
The cheesecakes were served raw, the scrambled eggs were brought with the shell, the coffee was thin according to the Oriental, they did not go there anymore.
The cafe looks modern from the outside and inside, there is air conditioning inside, which is very important in the heat, as well as free Wi-Fi. But I didn't like the kitchen at all, it was cooked like for a pig, and the bill was like in a good restaurant in Moscow.
An excellent, inexpensive cafe with a not very rich menu, but the dishes are cooked deliciously. The downside is, as in almost all Abkhazian cafes, very slow service: the desire to save on staff leads to a long wait for an order.
A nice, cozy place. The kitchen is for four, but the prices are more acceptable than those around. I would put 5, but I would like a better toilet to look at, and instead of a towel, dry my hands with a dryer)
Everything is tasteless. We were on a guided tour, the dishes are cold, there is absolutely no flavor of the wonderful Abkhazian cuisine. And the service is not very friendly. My daughter and I didn't like it
We went to have breakfast by accident .... Fresh rice porridge without milk and sugar, sticky pancakes, undercooked, salted cheesecakes and cottage cheese there is a drop of flour, but when cocoa was brought.... It's just grey water, when asked what it is, the waiter said that cocoa can be different... How can you spoil the simplest dishes in cooking? Of all the coffee ordered, capsule and omelette were normal. Don't expect any apologies, much less a recount...
It was a terrible place, the waiter walked around the tables with trays and asked "if this is your order", everything was very long! They waited for the boat after 40 minutes, when they brought it to everyone else after 20 minutes. order and payment at the checkout, but for "no" service, you still have to pay 5%. I heard only retaliatory claims for all the claims, there are no apologies, there are no warnings that it takes a long time to prepare. With food, as luck would have it, the noodle soup was delicious, the kharcho was spicy but not salty, as if empty, the chicken with mushrooms from a can, moreover, the mushrooms were already sour, the desserts just seemed to stand for a week, they couldn't even figure out the anthill.
Unfortunately, the only advantages are air conditioning and comparative cleanliness. I didn't like the food here at all. Believe me, I have something to compare it with. Khinkali does not look like khinkali, neither the dough nor the filling. Kharcho is not salty, there are few spices and very, very many coarsely chopped onions, and as a result it also does not look like kharcho. I only liked the feijoa compote.

Before entering, check the number of visitors. This cafe is visited for the first and last time. Of three courses. The rice salad is undercooked, the chop is over-salted, the cheesecakes are one flour and with all this, coffee was brought first and after 15 minutes the cheesecakes.
The 4.3 rating somehow seemed too high.
Chicken shish kebab is dry meat, cooked obviously not on the grill.
A piece of honey cake turned out to be mildewed.
In general, the average cafes in Abkhazia.
I want to go home to finally have a delicious meal 😭
