The hotel is great! The infrastructure and staff are very responsive. On the downside, two days before departure, the whole family seized rotavirus. Suspicions about dessert. We didn't sleep the night before the flight, because everyone was vomiting. Everyone was vomiting at Antalya Airport: Me, My Wife, my Mother-in-law and my children. I've been in Russia for 2 days now, but I still have nausea and diarrhea.A doctor was called - rotovirus.
We have been here with our family for the second time! After 15 years. There are few hotels that you want to return to again.
Do not skimp on the room, it is better to take a family room (2 rooms). You can arrange upon arrival.
The hotel is a stable four, although a five is indicated. The staff is not very friendly, the area is not always clean, the breakfast is meager. Drinks are often served in paper cups. The mojito is bad, there is no mini-bar in the room, there is no kettle in the room. In short, we will not come to this hotel anymore. They don't pull in a five.
A great hotel for families with children. In general, we were satisfied, but there are also DISADVANTAGES: 1. Weak animation, both for children and activity for adults. After going to the kids' club, the children asked them not to take them there anymore.... 2. Is it really impossible to arrange the delivery of bottled water by numbers? During the 9 days of rest, they brought us only once, when I tipped 2 euros instead of the usual one dollar. On the same day, the swans arrived immediately... I keep silent so that there is something in the room besides water. 3. If you come to the restaurant a little later, then the table is only on the veranda, where it is very stuffy, well, so-so... I repeat, I liked everything in general, I recommend the hotel. We lived in a villa, we caught the Internet well, we cleaned well, we didn't get tired of the food. Would you come back again? Definitely, yes!
I really liked the hotel (vacation June 2019). The beach is great, large and sandy, the area is beautiful, the food is delicious with a large selection. There were no problems with the Internet on two phones. On June 15, a mass arrival of Russian tourists began (before that there were mostly Germans) and there were a lot of people in the hotel. This was reflected only in the crowd in the restaurant, the sun beds were always available. This is my first vacation in Turkey and I was very afraid of disappointment, but all my stereotypes about Turkey, i.e. about Tagil, flip-flops with socks, boozy Russians in this hotel have disappeared! I wouldn't go there without children, but if you don't care about the endlessly running and screaming children, then I think you'll like the hotel. The rest was a 100% success, I didn't want to leave at all!
In short, the hotel is very bad. If I explain in detail now why? The rooms are old, dead. The food is terrible, they save on everything. It's the same thing every day. Macaroni, chicken, fish are not tasty. The cakes are the same . There are no cakes.everything is fried in old bitter oil, it is not possible to eat. There are flies all around in the main restaurant and cafe. The beach is dirty. The staff barely move, like sleepy flies, not amiable, frowning. They don't have time for anything. There are no clean tables to be found. The queue for food. They asked to give a room in a quiet place, they gave it next to the disco, they did not change it. We're having a lot of fun now. 2 weeks of hell. The worst hotel. The audience is big and that's it. Boredom is wild. The animation is so-so. We used to be in Venice palace, acca antedon, super! This one just sucks. It's barely worth 3 stars.
The hotel is far from 5, and from 4 stars... The staff is clearly not happy with tourists, they can safely ignore you, and I'm not talking about sour faces full of discontent at all. Despite all the requests and warnings, we were put in a room right next to the animation stage, a small child in such a noise, and we adults can't fall asleep. They really didn't want to change the number. The food is monotonous and tasteless, so now everyone is forced to wear masks and the food is served by our kind staff... And it wouldn't be a problem. If the bartenders would put ice and lemon in drinks at the restaurant bar... But there is no luggage yourself and what is the point of such protection against the virus if all tourists touch the ice spoon and can safely get infected. In a word, the fight against Covid is just a screen here, so that you can put less food. The alcohol is local and obviously mediocre. The Internet is terrible, it is constantly shutting down by itself, there is not everywhere. The disadvantage is not the fault of the hotel, but still, if you are a tall man, be careful when jumping from the pier (which is good by the way), even the buoys do not have depth here. I am a 1.95 m tall man who jumped, steadily sitting on the bottom. The condition of the plumbing is fire... The shower barely supplies water, all at the same time leaky, warm water does not go for a long time, and then like bang with boiling water on you, high)))) There are just an unbearable number of flies everywhere, they sit down to eat and no one is going to do anything about it. Against the background of all this, the question from the staff sounds very comical: "Will you come back here again?..." NO, never, and even for free.
P.s in the photo is a wonderful, leaky door... With excellent sound insulation)))
I was in Turkey for the first time. The hotel is very nice, the territory is huge. The staff is polite. The room was cleaned every day. They added water to the refrigerator all the time. The food in the restaurant is varied. Fruits and vegetables in a full assortment. An interesting show in the evening. I went with my daughter and two granddaughters. The location of the water park on the territory is very convenient. I recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
A good hotel, international (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, England, Turkey, the Philippines and some other nations, including blacks). Like five stars, ultra "all-inclusive". The service is very good. The linen was changed every day, cleaned every day. A very clear organization of arrivals and departures - bellboy met, took him to the room with his things and arrived himself before departure without a reminder, loaded his things, informed the reception, took him to the place of arrival of the transfer.
We rented a three-room suite, which even has a kitchen, each room has balconies. The room is super! Nothing is put in the refrigerator (bar) except water. A huge and well-groomed territory - we didn't have time to visit everywhere in 10 days)) . The animation at the main pool does not bother (it was not there at all, only in the activity pool area)), which is very pleasing. There is a water park, discos, swimming pools. A network of 4 nearby hotels, so there is a crush in the water park.
Food is more difficult. You can see that they are trying, but not everything is very edible, although you will not stay hungry. There are no porridges, there are practically no soups. Fruits, vegetables, sweets, in bulk, especially at lunch. The time for breakfast, dinner and lunch is strictly limited. You can have a snack only in the water park and in a cafe near the beach, which is open from 12.30. The other three bars have only drinks: juices like Jupi, tasteless cocktails, Turkish alcohol, even for a fee the choice is very modest, in general, do not take anything except beer). There is a table with fruits at the reception. Ice cream only in the evening at the dining room.
Last year we were at another hotel in Belek, where we were fed from 5 a.m. to 3 a.m., although the drinks also suck. The bar, replenished daily, constantly had juices, mineral water, and sodas. It was somehow better there with the catering, but not very clean ((.
There is animation and a disco show for children every evening. There are playgrounds and a "paddling pool" under a canopy.
A wonderful sandy beach, with a gentle entrance, warm water and there are always free sun beds under a canopy.
There are many Russian-speaking staff members.
I give four stars only for catering.
The concept of ULTRA ECONOMY 3+ is such a "category" this hotel corresponds to, to be HONEST. We rested at the hotel on July 5th. Adults with 2 children aged 12 and 16. For the first time we meet such an "ultra"(. Saving on EVERYTHING. I will try to be objective about the pros and cons. I'll start with a good one. 1. A huge green, blooming well-groomed territory (unites 3 hotels of the chain). 2. Two and three storey bungalows, the rooms are excellent, not new, but high-quality renovation, spacious. 3. Cleaning is great. At the beginning, there was a good impression from the reception service, which deteriorated upon departure. So, check-in is at 9.00 instead of 14.00, at our request, because early arrival. A nice, clean beach, the only large pier with a recreation area on the entire coast of Side! There is also a pier at Alva Donna, but it is worse, the rest of the hotels here do not have piers. And many beaches are dirty, garbage. That's where the advantages ended. They were enough for us to have a good rest, but ....there is no desire to return to this hotel anymore. Minuses. 1. ULTRA EVERYTHING includes: 1. Breakfast - only eggs and vegetables, sliced, incomprehensible porridge, cereals, pancakes, potatoes. There are no meat dishes, not even "uncooked" sausages). 2. Lunch..- we recommend a grill bar near Radika beach, cozy, comfortable, clean, polite, edible, there are enough waiters and they try their best. In the main restaurant, half an hour after the opening, it gets terrible, due to the influx of hungry people...vacationers (especially "amazed" by the German children's audience, thrusting their hair and hands into food, tasting from common pots, picking up food like the last time, by the way, German children behaved just as ill-mannered on the beach)
3. Dinner...very standard/average. Drinks are served only by the waiters, with the exception of water and iced tea. A lot of dishes are not tasty, because they are cooked carelessly: over-dried / overcooked. 4. Alcohol is imported, if specified and required. Cocktails are made professionally by only 2 bartenders in the lobby, they work in the evenings. No bottled drinks, only plain water in the minibar in the room. 5. Wi-Fi is terrible. In fact, only one unit works intermittently per number. Despite the number of residents. The official position of the hotel is Wi-Fi only at the reception. Everyone runs to the reception, but it's barely there.....6. The rooms have 2 air conditioners. One new one, Mitsubishi, thanks to him we are alive)) . The second one is already 97 years old. Praise him for still working. But we spent 4 days trying to get a remote control to regulate the temperature. There are no remotes! There is a wired remote control on the wall that works only on and off...it's a horror). Shampoos and soaps, lotions are limited. Everything is limited here. Even there are not enough chairs in the lobby, it is clear that it is difficult to place a thousand vacationers in the lobby, but half of the hall is empty, we could add seats. The condors are barely coping here, it seemed to us that they were being turned off specifically so that people would not linger on the Internet, but quickly disperse. Because the territory is huge, it's a long walk to the sea) Electric cars drive from 9 to 18 and take vacationers from the reception to the beach. There are only 2 of them, electric cars. Sometimes vacationers behave like pigs...they come last, and without observing the queue of the same vacationers, with and without children, they climb ahead of the queue, pushing everyone with their elbows... It's sad to watch ..... Well, the animation... there are many of them, or rather, animators. But they are of little use. Sometimes there are evening shows on the Gold Coast. And yes, most importantly, the water slides are complete...bullshit. We fell for the pictures and reviews. One rental was enough for us. They almost tore their backs.
The seams are terrible, uneven, the slides are old, it's slow and painful to drive. Something like this... Choose, if it's cheap, then you can go.
P.S. Before leaving, when the transfer was already waiting for us and we handed over the keys, the porter suddenly demanded 20 euros for the wine, which we did not take, but attributed to our number and surname. Naturally, we demanded a receipt with our signature, which we searched for a very long time, but, of course, we did not find, and the people on the bus waited for us for half an hour. It was at night. Well, the olinclusive system at the hotel....we rest on all inclusive, someone on half board, it seems that the bartenders check the cards, but nevertheless they " attributed" some cheap wine
to us, but in the bar there were drinks for an additional fee and for 200 euros and more expensive, I wonder how long they would have figured it out on departure? This is the first time I've seen such an attitude towards guests, usually you hand over a card and goodbye. They are trying to breed here...
Advantages:
Large, well-equipped and cozy territory
Excellent food (meat, fruits)
Animations
Swimming pools, hammam, fitness.(included)
Water Park
There is excellent alcohol, not local.
Disadvantages of the rooms:
Tiled floors
There is no carpet, it is cold to walk barefoot.
There are no court mats, sand in the room and, accordingly, in the beds.
The furniture is old.
Well, the ants that flock to the crumbs from the cookies if you are vacationing with children.
P.S. rest on the territory is amazing, but in the rooms there is obvious discomfort.
Vonresort Golden Beach, Antalya, Turkey. June-July, 2019. In one word, it's a madhouse. Everyone who has previously vacationed in places where Russians are not at all the predominant nation among vacationers will have such an impression. The tourist contingent at this hotel is mostly represented by Russians, who do not have access to more expensive vacation spots. The next in number are the Germans, who chose this hotel for the same reason. It is difficult for me to judge how cheap it is. The previous year, my wife and granddaughter and I spent 12 days in the Dominican Republic in a room of the "Premium club" of the solid star Four hotel for less, including a flight from Moscow, than 2 weeks with two granddaughters in Antalya. My comprehensive assessment of the Vonresort Golden Beach Hotel is two and a half stars. Why? I'll try to tell you.
1. The room. We didn't have much time until the end of my vacation, and for the sake of my granddaughters (6 and 7 years old), we had to buy a tour and leave within 5 days. The first requirement is a two-room room with at least three beds, not two extra cots in the room. There are enough such rooms in the hotel, and they are like a separate floor or part of it in a two-storey cottage. The furniture and furnishings are cheap enough, but the beds will not hold together, the closet doors close, although not everything is so simple with the drawers of the bedside tables because of their cheap design. There is a kitchenette: a refrigerator, a two-burner stove, a sink, a cabinet with a random set of individual dishes and appliances. There is no filling of the refrigerator with drinks. There is a bathtub in the room, but we used it only as a shower, it will be difficult to use it for its intended purpose due to the fact that there is a problem where to put your head if you want to lie down: on one side there is an overflow hole, with an arc mixer. There is a small balcony where the three of us can sit in close quarters. Other amenities in the room include two hard chairs and a small table. Two air conditioners (split system). If one had a more or less modern control system that could be customized, then the blinds of the second had to be adjusted manually after its automatic shutdowns / inclusions so as not to inflate the neck. There is a safe, but no iron or ironing board. The room is cleaned daily. We left a dollar on the bed every day, so there was no inconvenience in this part - everything changed. toiletries were replenished.
2. The territory. Big, green one. It is arranged with courtyards, lawns, on which there are hammocks. There is free parking for vacationers, which is convenient if you rent a car. There are three (one for kids) pools, not counting the pools in the water park. There are 11 water slides in the water park, four of which are for children, although children, if they are not very small, are allowed to do everything. The water park was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. We were very afraid that our granddaughters, having swallowed water in the pool, would catch some kind of infection, but this time it was okay, although there is no obvious smell of chlorine from the pool water, as is usual in American resorts. Another small plus is the bus stop 100m from the hotel reception, from where buses run every quarter of an hour to the local district town of Side, where the price of renting a car is one and a half to two times lower than if you book it at the hotel or want to somehow feel like a local aborigine. By the way, if you want to diversify your vacation with an excursion and are able to move 500-800 meters away from the hotel, then you can buy this tour at a small bureau much cheaper than at the hotel.
3. The beach. Sandy, gentle entrance to the water, convenient for children: 30-50 meters from the shore, an adult is "neck deep". The people in the water are like in Sochi. However, you can also find a more comfortable place if you swim at the junction of the beach between two hotels. The distance of the beach from your room is about 400-800 m. This difference is due to the large size of the hotel's territory. Two electric minibuses constantly run from the reception to the beach, so you can shorten the walk to the beach in the heat by walking to the reception. There is a pier on the beach, which is teeming with vacationers, but choosing the moment you can jump off it into the water from a height of about two and a half meters in a special place without risking falling on someone, but I would not guarantee that no one will jump on you.
4. Nutrition. If you are not a fastidious gourmet, then the quality of the food and its variety can be considered quite satisfactory, if you do not take into account the complete absence of pork. The fish menu does not boast a variety, but fried trout or Dorado were constantly present, plus some boiled fish. The granddaughters appreciated the desserts in the form of various cakes, especially because of the colorful sabers and spades inserted into them, which they began to collect. What must be recognized as unsatisfactory is the organization of this nutrition. The hotel has one main restaurant (buffet), where everything is included. I don't know how the granddaughters learned the word "canteen", but that's how they called this "restaurant". The restaurant is divided into two parts: on the street under a canopy, where you can find a free table, but it's stuffy and there are smokers everywhere, and the second, kind of like with "air conditioning", where it's stuffy, but less than on the street, and it's difficult to find a free table if you didn't come to the very opening, when the tables are set and there are even cloth napkins on them. If you are late, then your destiny is to guard the vacant table with dirty dishes until the employee (the waiter does not dare to call him a waiter) turns to remove the leftovers from this table and somehow serve it with appliances. Near the distribution, which is in this part of the restaurant, is the very madhouse. Crowds of people with plates in their hands with some kind of purposeful facial expressions, often without noticing others, fill these plates with food. Another aspect of the madhouse is the screams of small children of such amplitude that I even thought that one of our children gave some kind of "Squeaker" to a football fan to play, but he used it too often, and dad constantly reprimanded the naughty boy - stop it, I'm tired. The brochures about the hotel mention four more restaurants "a la carte", where you need to pre-register. In the prospectus that I came across, it was written about the first four "free reservations", and the rest were meant to be paid. My more than ten years of experience in the Dominican Republic somewhat alerted this point, because there "a la carte" restaurants are free, you just need to make an appointment in advance. In Vonresort, this is an absolutely paid pleasure, except for a free meal on duty for a child. Only two restaurants are air-conditioned, and they turned out to be just less interesting for us. We signed up for one, and here the recording condition is not the availability of seats, but, on the contrary, the presence of more than 10 visitors! The restaurant is a meat restaurant, we ordered a cowboy steak, they brought it, it looks beautiful. I start eating, I find that he is "bleeding", that I am not eating. I called the waiter over and asked why they didn't find out my preference when ordering? They replied that they would fix it and fry it. They took it away and brought it, without blood. The wife, like most women, loves blood, and she ate it as it was brought. She spent the next day in bed with severe poisoning. It's good that the granddaughters were given a taste of my fried piece, and everything worked out for them. For some reason, we didn't have any more desire to go to the "a la carte" restaurant
5. Drinks, alcoholic. There is an honest two on the five-point system. I found out how "ultra ol inclusive" differs from just "inclusive". The first is that you are supposed to be not only local, but free after midnight. I had the first one, but Napoleon brandy of the lowest quality (without VS or VSOP labeling, a strong-tasting thing) for cocktails. I got it only twice in the first days, then there was an unequivocal answer - no more, there is only local. I tried it, it tasted somehow poisonous, I didn't take any chances. There are three local varieties of wines: white, pink and red. There is no taste, that is, not bad, not good. You can wash down dinner somehow, especially since there is self-service in the buffet as far as wine is concerned - you do not have to wait, I went myself to the basin where the bottles are in ice water, made sure that the wine is cold, and poured myself. The only bright spot on the alcoholic side is the Efes beer, which is always cold and an acceptable quality lager. Russians will never be defeated because of their bravery, I realized this in a snack bar on the beach during lunch (the heat is 33 degrees), when our man in only bathing shorts asked for three paper cups of local vodka, and then demanded to increase the serving volume to one hundred grams. There were three pieces of food on the plate he brought with him to the bar...
6.Maintenance. I had no problems communicating with my English and German, most Turks who come into contact with vacationers understand German, the rest speak English. Even with the driver of an ordinary shuttle bus, it is easy to explain in German. The staff at the hotel reception and the "waiters" are more than half recruited from our former republic of Kyrgyzstan, so there are no problems for Russian speakers in communicating with the staff. I contacted several times about minor problems in the room (TV, air conditioning, lock), to which a person came within just a few minutes and corrected the shortcomings.
7. ATTENTION!!! I strongly recommend that those who cannot stand the smell of tobacco smoke abandon this hotel. You can smoke everywhere there: by the pools (even around the "frog house"), in the water park, on the beach, in the part of the buffet where there are free places. I got the impression that this hotel is visited by the most ill-mannered smokers, both Russians and Germans, who can sit at the next table or take a nearby sunbed on the beach or by the pool and, not noticing any small children nearby, not paying attention to the wind directions, begin to smoke you. For Europe and America, this is already perceived as savagery and inability to behave. Here, to the remark of those who came up to you and started smoking nearby that there are children here, the answer of the Russians is do not spoil our mood, the Germans are allowed here, go where it is forbidden.
8. The last one. Would I go to this hotel again? Perhaps, but only for the sake of the children, and if the hotel is not more than a third full.
We are resting at the hotel. I want to warn you that there is THEFT in the hotel. None of the staff, security services, guides will help you return your belongings.
We found the thieves of our belongings on our own. But they turned out to be Turks. Therefore, the hotel staff tried in every possible way to turn the situation around so that we could call the gendarmes, they were rude and covered their own in every possible way. Of course, no one returned our belongings to us. There was no question of an apology.
Not about our troubles :
The water park / toilets are not cleaned on time, safety precautions on the slides are not observed
Food / main restaurant for every taste, a selection of dishes, you will not stay hungry. There are only drinks in the bars. From 17 to 19, nothing can be eaten anywhere (our child woke up hungry after an hour's sleep)
The territory is large, but not well maintained enough
The staff / tries, but does not have time. There are too many people
Animation / none, during 7 days of rest we saw one animator, and he passed by
I do not recommend the hotel, who knows what service is, you are not here. In a difficult situation, no one will help you.
Super food, everything is fine, cleaning is a little lame. Check-in is a quest, choose a room if possible. I would also like to mention the spa center at the hotel. It's a fairy tale! The hottest sauna and the warmest Hammam of the hotels we've been to. The score here is definitely excellent!
It is beautiful, comfortable, food and drinks are good, the sea is close, swimming conditions are good, a lot of small children, loud music until 23 o'clock.
We flew just a couple of weeks ago, we expected more from 5 stars. Upon arrival, the air conditioner did not work in our room, the safe was not working, and there were not even disposable shoes (this of course angered me the most). I had to knock it out at the reception. At the same time, he assured us that they did not have shoes, but when we said that she was present in the next room, then they relented and treated us to slippers. The animation also leaves much to be desired, but we must pay tribute to their cuisine. Here she is at 5+
I liked everything. We went with a 1.3 year old child. The room is two-room. The food is excellent. Thanks! The staff is polite

The old hotel and the rooms themselves. Not even slippers.they put only water in the refrigerator, which surprised them. Wi-Fi is not working well. It's not a 5*. Maximum of 4 stars. For the same money, you can find better hotels in Antalya and Belek.
A good hotel, food on the level, drinks too, large rooms, a good beach and pier, disgusting Internet, well and good, allows you to distract yourself and live in peace))
The rating is clearly too high. The hotel is similar to Russian dispensaries. The age of the hotel has a strong effect. The sea is good, but I came across a protruding pipe 15 meters from the pier.
Imported drinks have to be begged.
