Waldorf review
Hello everyone. I remember when they built this incredible skyscraper, it seemed that it would be something cosmic. When it was completed and the Waldorf opened in it, on our first trip to Berlin we decided to stay here, it was something incredible: design, service, elegance. Today, the Waldorf Astoria is an expensive three-star hotel, with old furniture, poor service (except for the guys who open the doors on the street), dirty rooms and trying to deceive the administrators. The photo for the review shows how dirty the windows are, the carpet, how much worn furniture, I will not go into it. The sound of the blinds opening deserves special attention, even with the windows closed and the TV on, you can hear them opening at the neighbors as if it were happening in your room, the sound is somewhat similar to a running car. This time I stayed in a fairly expensive Junior Suite, which did not have any toothpaste or disposable gels and shampoos, it seemed that they were pouring something into this jar of reusable shampoo, it's a pity. The service deserves special attention, I ordered food at night, by the way it was delicious, left the dishes at the entrance immediately after eating, also at night, woke up in the morning, packed up, left a tip on the bed and left. I'm going out, no one has cleaned the plate overnight! After I finished all my business, I return, the plate is gone, the tip is gone too, but no one cleaned the room despite the fact that the cleaning button was on!! That is, they came, took the plate, went into the room and took the tip, but did not change the towels or make the bed. In general, the result is this, do not go here until they put this place in order, you need to start with the management who brought it to this, then go through the interiors and service. By the way, about the administrators, when checking in, the room was given 3 hours late, but thanks to this they allowed late check-out and what do you think happened? They counted some upgrades and other nonsense for more than 600€! After the senior's call, all this was removed, but the fact itself upset and was the cherry on the cake of disappointment in this once wonderful place.
