The airport is not large, but compact and practical. There are signs everywhere. Check-in starts clearly 2 hours in advance. Prices in airport shops, as well as in all airports, are overstated. You can easily get to the city center by bus. There are also ticket vending machines, you can choose the Russian language in the menu. It takes no more than 30 minutes to get to the city center.

A large modern airport. Check-in started exactly two hours before departure, we were the first and passed quickly. During the inspection, the frame worked for me, I had to undergo a personal search. Of course, everything went well), but the inspection is quite strict. Then there is a trade area, an impressive assortment, you can even buy Krakow sausage and other meat products, of course alcohol, souvenirs. But there is a customs inspection ahead, so there is no time for walking. They do not ask questions on departure, but upon arrival they asked about the purpose of visiting the country, about the availability of a return ticket. Before boarding, you can buy what you didn't have time to, but in a much smaller assortment. Boarding began about forty minutes before departure, or maybe earlier, and this is good because there are not very many seats in the boarding area.

A modern small airport. I was making a connection there on a flight to Amsterdam. The border guard was caught speaking Russian, the staff inside the airport speaks English at least poorly. Of the minuses, I will note the harsh shmon on security control. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take off my shoes, and then a real person conducted a search so that he almost got into his underpants. But at the same time, everything is very polite and correct. I think this is happening because they don't have X-ray scanners. There are smoking rooms at the airport, vending machines for all kinds of food, various shops.

Time was running out, every minute is precious,.... and despite the lecture that was 15 minutes late,..We managed to check in our luggage and fly away.

We were in transit at this airport and had the worst memory of the inspection.
At first, we were attracted to a male type of woman. They were just being bullied!!! It came to the luggage!
Our luggage was first enlightened and forced to open our suitcases! The young driver took out a package and looked at it for a long time, sniffed, and returned more than once to this small package where women's pads lay. I couldn't figure out what it was for something.
Each jar of cream was studied how many ml. If it is written more than 100ml, they were taken away regardless of the amount inside.
Having had enough of it!!!! Missed it.

You do not need to buy in duty free. Yes, lighters were taken away, this time I took matches, they didn't take them away, there was something to light up. Put the lighter in the suitcase and say it's not there. Clean and comfortably warm in winter.

The airport itself is on the bad side. There are special smoking booths inside and other minced meat. But the airport staff leaves much to be desired for this reason: I flew with a transfer in Warsaw from Geneva. The flights were tightly docked, so when I got off the plane, the landing for the next one was already announced. I run to customs, waving my hands that I need to get through faster (and in the meantime, “last call” is displayed on the scoreboard, which means that I am very close to missing the flight). The airport services had to put money on it, so they had to negotiate with the queue, fortunately the people were kind. This left its residue, so -2 stars for stuff.
