The Bridge of Desires in Jaffa is perhaps the most famous bridge in Israel. Probably only the String Bridge in Jerusalem can compete with it. So there is an ancient legend connected with the bridge in Jaffa, which is known to many.A mosaic with the name "Bridge of Desires" is laid out in front of the entrance to the bridge. There are 12 bronze zodiac signs on the northern handrail of the bridge, made by Jaffa sculptors Esther Shlomo and Fredi Fabian. And an ancient legend says that everyone entering the bridge must find their zodiac sign, put their hand on it, look into the distance at the sea surface and make a wish (money is not worth making, since the budget for this ended after the first one who made a wish)! The wish will definitely come true — the legend is ancient ... But the fact is,that the "antiquity" of the legend is estimated at about 30-35 years, and its authors are well known — this is the department for tourism development of the Tel Aviv municipality. It was invented to attract tourists and we must pay tribute to them — the idea turned out to be very successful. Be sure to put your hands on your sign... my wish has come true...After all, the main thing is FAITH!
