It happens that planes break down, it happens for all airlines. And sometimes you even have to wait a day at the airport for a replacement plane, too, nothing super scary.
But what happens when you try to get money for a delayed flight probably only happens with Wiz air. We also flew back to wizz air and it turned out strange - one of our family members could not check in for the flight. Since we were already burned and paid € 20 for check-in at the airport per person, we were very persistent and we were in 40 minutes (!!!!) nevertheless, it turned out to get through to a paid (for us) number and they were able to manually fix the registration problem with great difficulty, but only on the third attempt. We are lucky that the children speak English well, otherwise it would most likely have turned out that we would not have been able to fly away.
And now the most important thing!!! - why did this problem arise - the person for whom the check-in did not take place and 90 € appeared on his wizz air account, because of which it was impossible to check-in. And the money came from the fact that we asked for compensation from the Airline for the flight delay (by the way, "for some reason" we received not € 400 according to EU rules, but € 90). And here's how it turns out: the airline decided not to allow this daring passenger to ask for a refund on board.
I fly this car regularly to Europe. There is only one delay in departure for ten flights. At that time, the passengers were already on the plane. We waited for 40 minutes and flew. The crew is always polite. I buy everything in advance on the website (luggage, seats, registration) and there were no problems.

Gypsy Airlines in one word. If you think you bought cheap tickets, it's just to buy new ones again. Our flight was rescheduled, we were waiting for it at the airport and waiting for the check-in to begin. It turned out that the registration took place on time and half of the plane did not have time for it either. There was no information on the scoreboard. The most interesting thing is that we checked in online, but no documents came to the post office, and we couldn't even fly without luggage. It seems that this is done intentionally. Don't mess with me!
We flew with this airline in January 2023. Everything is on schedule. no cancellations or postponements. The staff is polite, check-in at the airport is fast.. We liked everything.
Two years ago, the flight was canceled due to restrictions, the funds for it were left in the account. On November 4, without warning, the funds were withdrawn from the account in their favor, although the deadline for "combustion" was November 22. It is impossible to return the funds. Contact them too. I will never use this company-it is more expensive for myself.
I do not recommend it in any case. We bought tickets in October 2021 to Budapest, we were sure that everything would be fine, but we urgently had to hand over tickets 3 days before departure, we withheld 50%, since we did not connect Wizz Flex, but they did not refund the remaining 50%, they left it on the Wizz Go account so that we could use this money next time to buy tickets from them. And we don't need any more. The company replied to us that we had read the rules and subscribed to them, like this, appropriated 250 € and we are to blame. So read carefully before you buy tickets from this company.
The last time I book tickets here. They sent the cancellation of 4 flights. I believe that the refund will be another adventure, judging by the reviews left earlier.
I do not advise anyone to fly with this airline, even though their ticket prices are lower.
I bought 8 tickets Moscow-Abu Dhabi on 03/18/2022, the flight was canceled. After that, a refund in the form of bonuses came to the Wizz account, I tried to make a refund in rubles. A month and a half has passed, the money has not arrived. There is simply no one to contact. The phone is blocked in the call center.
