We are currently staying at this hotel. First, the pros:
- near the airport
- pretty quiet location
- there is a market nearby with fruits, things, and food
- the rooms are modern, there are air conditioners, kettle, soap dishes in the rooms
That's probably where the advantages end.
Cons:
- far from the sea. The shuttles that are so much talked about in the reviews are cars with 7-10 seats that go to the beach every 3 hours. About 3-4 of these cars are coming. It's easy to calculate how many people will be transported from the three 8-storey buildings. You also have to manage to get on this shuttle.
- there are no beach towels all the time: they haven't arrived yet, they've already run out. It doesn't matter when you came for them.
- the three of us had a rest, but there were only two sets of towels in the room. For two days, we went five times to ask for a third set, until they gave it to us.
- the territory is huge and there is almost no shadow. Going to/from the beach on it is a separate challenge.
- they populate autumn slowly, later than the stated time. We lived in building B, we had to contact buildings A or C with all questions, because the reception did not work in the building
- the breakfasts are meager and tasteless, all the dishes are cold, you have to queue for coffee.
- the lake on the territory is some kind of green swamp
- there is no clothes dryer in the room
- the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a frosted glass wall. If someone goes to the bathroom at night, the light through the glass will wake everyone up.
- the shower stall doesn't have a door. The entire bathroom turns out to be flooded with water, no matter how carefully you try to wash yourself.
This hotel is far from 5 stars. I do not recommend to rest here
It's a great hotel, and we have something to compare it with! The international Windham hotel chain is just as good as the Hilton in Thailand. I'll start with the pros: huge new clean rooms (we have a large living room and a separate bedroom in building A), high-quality plumbing, a TV with multiple channels, a spacious balcony with a wonderful view from it, very pleasant friendly staff - once the room key stopped working, it turned out that the batteries were dead - the Thai rushed in 5 minutes (!) minutes after my appeal - and it happened around 11 p.m., so well done! A wonderful huge beautiful territory, the breakfasts are very good - there is a coffee machine, and Thai national dishes are different, and scrambled eggs, and even watermelons, and toasts, and cereals, generally for every taste, and breakfasts are open from 6.30 and as early as 10.00, but you need to come early, of course, before 9 a.m. people a little bit there. I will single out a wonderful huge swimming pool and 10-15 pieces of sun beds around - there is enough space for everyone who comes early in the morning. There is a stunning market nearby, with lots of goodies, clothes, and souvenirs. There are either golf-type cars to the sea, or a 30-40-minute walk. The only drawback is the lack of wet cleaning in the rooms, the floor was never washed during the entire stay, but in principle it is not very common for Thais to do this, so it was expected initially. Absolutely deserved 5 stars.
I really liked the hotel. Near the national park, many shops, a night market, currency exchangers. There is a small shop in the hotel. Well-maintained territory, clean rooms, pleasant staff. Near the airport. The room has a tile, a large refrigerator. I really liked it, I recommend it
