Eminenyu Mosque is an atmospheric place in the heart of Istanbul's hustle and bustle, next to Galata Bridge and Spice Market. Beautiful architecture, colorful views and the feeling of a real oriental city, but they warn about a lot of people, noise and fuss around, but we were traveling in April and there weren't many tourists.
Inside the mosque it is calm and beautiful, but outside there is a real whirlpool of life: vendors, street food and crowds of tourists. If you want to experience the real Istanbul, this place is definitely worth a visit! And we're just across the street staying at a hotel. They didn 't regret it .
The beauty and scale of Istanbul's mosques are mesmerizing. And the Yeni Mosque left us with enthusiastic impressions. The mosque is open to tourists at certain times, but it is always open for prayer.
A beautiful mosque. Admission is free. Take off your shoes and leave them on the shelf inside at the entrance. Despite the fences inside, I went to the center and sat on the floor. No one made a remark to me. Don't make any noise, don't interfere with other people's prayers.
The New Mosque or Valide Sultan Mosque was built in Istanbul in 1597 by Sultan III. The foundation was laid by the order of Murad's wife Safiye Sultan and in 1665, the sultan of the time IV. It is a mosque that was completed and opened for worship with the great efforts and donations of Mehmed's mother Turhan Hatice Sultan.
The place is wonderful to watch from the windows of a nearby hotel. The area is crowded before nightfall. As soon as it gets dark, the streets empty and the passages between them are blocked.
Beautiful. Admission is free. There are few people. You can also take a photo and enjoy the beauty and the moment, sitting on the carpet, without crowds of tourists.
